Razy's Construction & Remodeling

If Razy's Construction Co. had not caused an explosion in my house back in September of 2002, I would give the guy a good rating. Due to the negligence of his workers, an explosion and fire occurred resulting in $2,000 in content damage and $89,000 in structural damage. He had no liability insurance at the time because as he told me, "I didn't think I would need it." Luckily, the fire was put out quickly by a neighbor. The structural damage, however, was extensive. No one was at home and the workers walked out to the backyard prior to the explosion. We were extremely fortunate no one was injured. I had to get my insurance company (Allstate) cover the damages after months of bickering with them. The end result was being out of my house for the next seven months, constantly struggling with the insurance company to pay, and the new construction company to properly perform for what I had hired them to do. It was seven months of h*** !! Allstate, in my name, sued Razy for the damages. He promptly filed for bankruptcy. I was personally out my insurance deductible, and Allstate was out the rest. Razy is a nice guy and does good work, however, after the h*** I had to experience due to his negligence and the money I was out dealing with all of this, I would have to give a thumbs down recommendation.

Razy & his crew did a wonderful job on my house and my mother's house too...prompt, affordable and overall very pleased with the work. He did two bathrooms for me including converting a tub to a tiled shower with glass door, removed a wall, paint, sheetrock, cabinetry. For my mom he did granite counters, refinished cabinets, changed out fixtures, 3 baths remodeled, tiled glass shower and custom laundry room. We will use him again!
