I don't even know where to begin the experience was so horrible. First technician came out and was extremely unprofessional. Informed me that if my unit didn't appear to be maintained the warranty wouldn't cover any of it (unit was just serviced 2 months prior). He also tried to take cash under the table for the service. Said he found the leak, put some stop leak in it and refilled the freeon. The a.c. worked that night, next night when I got home it was hot again. So again this technician came out and this time said it was my evaporator coils that needed to be replaced. So I had to do that, which wasn't fully covered by my warranty. Still 760 out of pocket which is ridiculous to me. $150 for a drain pan really?? So after the new coils were installed it was cooling, a few hours later getting hot again. At this point I am so mad, I had already got a week with no a.c. because of how long it took them to get the part in. So they send another technician out immediately at my request, because at this point I am not pleasant to talk to on the phone. Technician performs a nitrogen test on my outside unit and finds a big leak. So it may not have been my evaporator coils the whole time!! I'll never know. Also the technician told me that my unit was improperly cleaned by the original tech that had come to the house. So he recleaned and the didn't charge me for any of this. Now the a.c. is cooling and staying cool and I am happy. Next day I come home from work and the ceiling is caved in in my childrens bedroom undernead the ac. I go upstairs and check it out, they didn't properly seal the pipe they had just insulated and taped it and it is leaking bad water everywhere, a ton of sheet rock damage, insulation ruined, and a giant mess and pain. Of course there is no emergency number so I have to deal with it myself and cut away the sheet rock so it didn't spread. They are sending somebody out today to fix the problem and will have to repair the sheet rock and paint the entire ceiling. Never ever use this company. This week has been one nightmare after another.
Description of Work: My a.c. stopped cooling so I called my home warranty service. This is the only company that works with my warranty unfortunately. Took 5 visits to get it fixed and still having problems.
