I was very happy with their work. They came out and did a couple of things for me. I had an existing plumbing problem which was very simple for the plumber to fix, but it was not simple to me. I had asked other plumbers about it and they said that the problem was a loose pipe in the wall. It was going to be a major thing to fix it, but it was actually a simple thing. It was a faucet that was squeezed out and making noise. So, American Plumbing and Maintenance fixed it and it was very easy. There were no problems. I had several things done and the price came to $305. They gave me a $10 Angie's List discount. I had several places in the house like the tubs and the sinks which were slow; so they fixed all that and it was good. It was all labor and there weren't any parts or anything. They checked several things out. They checked out what I thought was a problem in the plumbing, but it was actually a problem with my washing machine. So, it was good that they fixed. A lot of times, it's actually finding out where the problem is. I didn't know if it was a problem with the washing machine or the drain outside where it drains out. So, that is what they helped me with. Mark, the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I had used him for my plumbing work. I have used him before. He is local and is in the neighborhood. He grew up in the same town with my wife which is close by. He is very personable. They came out promptly when they said they would. I feel like they are a bit high, but I keep calling them back. They are higher than most, but they are worth it. They can tighten their belts and give me a better price. I thought I got the senior's discount from them, but I now just got the Angie's List discount. The cost isn't too bad or I wouldn't have been going back to them.
