Marshall Plaster's crew left large drips and footprints in my plaster as well as other unsightly formations in my pool (think mountain ranges, gouges and chicken footprints). They covered over my waterline and step tiles with plaster, making it look like my tiles were installed broken. Instead of just fixing them, I actually had to take off of work to show him what the problem was. He just didn't see it. Although he did fix the tile, he still hasn't fixed the countless other problems. But the worst problem came a couple of weeks after the plaster was installed. My pool plaster cracked and immediately began leaking, gallons upon gallons every single day. Given this is new plaster, I've had to keep my water hose on 24/7 for the past three weeks while he ignored email and voicemail requests to schedule a repair. Apparently you're not supposed to let water drain out of a pool that has been replastered. The entire thing makes me sick to my stomach. Another particularly egregious issue is that he tried to tell me that pouring salt onto fresh plaster was okay. Everyone warned me this is horrible. There's even research from educational institutions on how bad that is. When I told him I was concerned, he said don't worry about it. They just tell people it's bad, but it's actually okay if it's done the way they did it in my pool. When I still balked, he gave me a 3-year warranty which he's trying to say is void. Run like the wind from this guy. You'd be better letting your kids take a crack at your pool as an art project. Seriously. I've dealt with bad vendors, but this one continues to shock me. Bad customer service, poor workmanship.
Description of Work: Marshall Plaster re-plastered my pool. It was (and still is) a disaster.
