**November of 2017 - pool complete. Bumps in the road during build (Bo says in another review response that he has better learned how to communicate, but we experienced a very large lack of communication) and we actually had a lien placed on our home by a plumber because of a bill Bo wouldn’t pay him. However, we were mostly happy with the final product and willing to move on from anything that happened and enjoy our new pool. **July 2019 (only 20 months after completion) - we inform Bo that the pool was cracking and leaking. He said hairline cracks were normal and we informed him they were not hairline and the pool was leaking. He is contractually obligated to fix a leak. While there was some communication from him, there were mostly long stretches where we and the issues were ignored (we have sent many many messages/made phone calls that were never responded to). **August of 2020 (13 months after being notified of a problem that continued to worsen, losing inches a week in water not related to evaporation causing who knows what kind of further damage under the pool, and us repeatedly texting and calling for help) - finally a repair was attempted that included replacing stone and tile that had cracked, resurfacing the entire spa, digging out the plaster and concrete on a bench the entire width of the pool/an area on the wall in the deep end/another area half the length of the pool and adding staples and epoxy to those areas before putting plaster back over it. **Post repair - the pool never stopped leaking and within weeks, everything was cracked again. It has continued cracking and is much worse now. We have continued to lose inches of water every week (no it’s not evaporation, our pool lost 2 inches of water when it was 10° outside). Our jets blow air bubbles constantly, something we were told by a professional was due to cracked equipment under the pool. The pool, spa, deck, tile, and stones - all cracked. In addition, we now have a pool with 2 different colors of plaster and were told by Bo that we would be responsible for paying $10k to replaster the entire pool if we weren’t happy with the color difference. **After several months more of waiting for another plan of action and still being mostly ignored, we informed Bo we were hiring a structural engineer to come take a look as we felt nothing else was being done. His response was “well that will be very expensive for you.” Bo is obviously not concerned with fixing our pool and the fact that we were willing to pay almost $1500 out of pocket to an engineer and hope for answers speaks to our desperation to get our pool fixed and the lack of support we were receiving from our pool builder (Bo) whose responsibility it was to fix it. We gave the engineer pictures of our pool before concrete was sprayed and he immediately noted several areas where the rebar was missing important structural elements. It took a little while, but eventually Bo confirmed that the pictures were correct in that it was what had been built. The engineer came back out, took more measurements and pictures, and put together a formal (signed and stamped with his seal) report for us of what needed to be done to repair the issues so that it wouldn’t crack again. The report basically includes rebuilding the entire spa, a very large portion of the pool, a portion of the back wall that is above ground where there are several leaks, and part of the deck (he said we need to get into the deck before he can advise how much needs to be redone). Bo is now denying it, but had told us when we mentioned getting an attorney due to lack of any progress toward fixing our pool that he would follow the engineers recommended plan of how to repair it. **19 months after this started, 6 months after a failed repair attempt, and a couple of months after we informed Bo we would be hiring an engineer, he comes to look at our pool, seems surprised to see how badly it’s cracked, and tells us he is now sending in a concrete guy that he just met the previous week (but now he’s an integral part of fixing our pool?) and will see what he has to say before he comes up with a plan to repair our leak. This is typical Bo. There is always an excuse for why he doesn’t fix something/have people show up when they’re supposed to/etc. Bo has yet to acknowledge that there are structural issues in our pool and mentions only fixing a leak. We realize there are things that happen behind the scene that take some time and this isn’t an immediate fix. We asked that Bo communicate with us about delays/changes of plans, but instead no one would show up when we had been told they would, and we were basically ghosted when trying to figure out why and when it would be rescheduled. However, at 19 months in with no resolution, having been beyond kind and patient in our waiting and dealing with lack of attention from Bo to truly solve our problem and a whole host of no-shows and excuses, we hired an attorney which Bo told us was a mistake to do and would prolong the process by months, if not years. I’m sure by now you can imagine how cooperative he’s been during the process. When I told him we were hiring one, Bo said the fact that he was texting me back during a state wide crisis (the snow storm we had) should say something about his willingness to help us. So we’ve had a leaking and horribly cracked pool/deck for 19 months, but because he’s actually texting me back, that shows he’s willing to help us? And covid and what it did to the pool industry cannot be used as an excuse as there was ample time to fix our pool before covid was even a thing. **February 2021 - We hired an attorney, and spoke to several pool builders who told us they would demo the entire pool and rebuild vs trying to repair that much damage. **March 17 - our attorney sends demand letter and then legally Bo had 45 days to respond, giving him a deadline of April 30 to respond with how he was going to fix our pool or with an offer of repair. **April 29 - our attorney received communication from Bo’s lawyer denying responsibility and stating they were requesting a 2 week extension to conduct inspections and testing. Legally, they had to ask for that within the first 35 days, so we were not obligated to agree. However, despite the fact that Bo waited until day 44 of 45 to request this, despite the fact that he could have requested to do an inspection and testing within the first week of receiving the letter from our attorney (or anytime in the 19 months before we hired an attorney), and despite everything Bo has put us through for the last 22 months, we agreed to grant him a 2 week extension, giving him a new due date of May 14. What inspections and testing did Bo conduct during the extra 2 weeks that he requested? - None. **May 14 (new deadline after 2 week extension) - Bo’s attorney responds by asking for a new deadline of July 31 to do testing. Yes, another 2.5 months! Says if we aren’t agreeable to that extension, Bo will simply find the leak, which he has yet to be able to do, and fix it with staples and epoxy which will guarantee it won’t crack again. That is obviously false as he has attempted this in the past on our pool and it cracked again almost immediately and never stopped leaking. He also does not mention addressing the structural issues or damage that has already been done. His letter also states our pool cracking is due to subpar soil conditions that we didn’t test before build to ensure they could adequately support a pool and he is not responsible for fixing our pool because of this. Bo has absolutely zero testing or proof of this, he is stating something as fact even though it is incorrect, attempting to deny responsibility because of a clause in our contract that states we are responsible for soil conditions. Our pool is built on solid limestone (only inches of dirt before hitting stone), we have pictures of the rebar frame out sitting on a solid slab of stone. **Our attorney sent our structural engineer Bo’s offer of repairing via epoxy and staples and asked him if he thought it would address and fix the problems. Our structural engineer res
