JenPro Roofing

It sounds like they do minor roof repairs for $100 but really they can't. The only reason that they did it was because we raised total hell and one of the co-owners just came out and did it. The deal is not written well. I purchased the deal and I had to pay $100 for them to do the repair.

Since it was performed while I was not home, I was not sure if the work was done completely. I requested the work to be done when I was home but the company insisted to do it in their convenience.

This is the second time I've used JenPro Roofing for roof repairs, and I was just as pleased as I was the first time I used them. I called in a panic one morning when I woke up to find shingles strewn around my driveway, lawn, and even out in the street from a storm the previous evening. Roland and his assistant came out that day to replace the missing shingles and did a great job. Just like the first time, Roland and Jennifer went that extra mile for me. I know I can count on them to be extremely prompt and very fair on their pricing. I found a great roofer, and I heartily recommend JenPro for all your roofing needs!

This is a follow up to my review from last year. Jenpro are great. Once again, fast and super nice. They fixed my roof last year (a lot of problems in a lot of weird and awkward places) and not long after I noticed that there still might be a small leak above a window. I travel a lot so it took me a while to get in touch and ask about it. I spoke to Roland (one of the owners and who had come out personally the first time), and he came to my house the very next day. He checked it out and sealed everything possible! No questions asked, no charge. They totally stand by their work and their warranty. Awesome!

JenPro really came through with an excellent product at a respectable price. I met with several roofing contractors before going with JenPro. JenPro took their time to explain how they intended to replace our roof. They took the time to explain the little details that they do to make a quality product. Their work was meticulous and they are passionate about their work. Their workmanship was superb. The end result was an attractive modern roof that increased our home?s appeal. We are so happy we went with JenPro.

Called JenPro after noticing a brand new water stain on my kitchen ceiling around the solar tube that was installed when the house was built. They were very booked but would try to work me in. I guess so !! They came over after hours late Saturday and sealed it up - the weather forecast for Sunday/Monday called for rain & they wanted to make sure I did not sustain any further damage. With the sealing they have done on my roof I think the house would float away before their repairs leaked! Way to go JenPro - nice to have a professional job at a reasonable price.

It was okay. We had to have him come back out and do some touch up stuff but we're happy now. It rained and we got a leak and I thought the coupon we had said that they were going to repair any vents that needed touch up of fix and he didn't know that it was also included, that was extra so we winded up paying them $300 something dollars and then it leaked and we called them back, they came and we winded up paying them $800 more for doing the repairs. We're happy now. I know my husband was happy when the gentleman showed him some issues. He didn't know anything about it and he was glad that he had showed him that. But, my husband said he won't use them again though. The cost was rather expensive.

I have had this provider come out a couple of times in the past to fix a leaks in our roof which cost us approximately $1,200.00 for the repair and a guarantee for the work performed. He took care of one leak problem by our fire place with no problem. However, our bathroom leak has been persistent and frustrating. In a heavy rain, which we have from time to time, the leak will return. However, Jen-Pro has been persistent and responsive to each call we make for repair. When they say guarantee they mean it. Last night the leak returned. I called this morning (third time), and they are going with a more aggressive response to the problem. It turns out our ridge vent was not done correctly, and it is the only place now from where he thinks the water is coming, and he will correct it and will not charge us for it. They are responsive and stand by their work product. Yes, I will use them again.

They came out an inspected the roof and gave us information. They gave me price for repair and a price to replace it.

I guess they did what they said they were going to do. I had some flashing that needed to be nailed down which I expected would be done, but that was not included. IThey gave me a bid of $800 to do that and repair some minor damage. That seemed high.

Very honest man and up front. He couldn’t guarantee the job, because the way the roof was designed. He went ahead and sealed the whole thing.

Assistant was o then roof for about 15 min. Mentioned that they patched 4 spots, really not sure what that means. Mention that the pitch of my house was higher than the agreement, but they would still go on the roof and inspect. Their work was really not worth my $100.00

Very nice and worked quickly. Set up the time with us. Contacted us when we confused the appointment time. All around it was a great experience.

It was great. Roland, one of the company's owners, did the inspection himself and remained on site to supervise the repairs which was great. We picked three dates..Aug 4,8,11. Roland called on July 4th and said he was in neighborhood and could do work. We were out of town...not original dates that we wanted. This is a weekend home and we are only there around weekends. Very difficult to get return phone call. After numerous attempts to reach Roland, we finally got a phone call back. He kept wanting to come out during the week even though we said that we aren't there. He would say he would call back and then not do it. Finally he called and asked my husband to send pictures of the house....it is a 3 story with metal roof. He proceeded to tell my husband once he saw the pix that the coupon is only good for one story and only shingle roofs. Nowhere on the coupon deal did it mention that....it did, however, say there might be additional cost if pitch was more than 6/12....we were ok with that. So he says he will come on a Saturday....we arranged for him to come today. We heard from him this morning and he said the cost was going to be $800-1200. For a roof inspection and maybe put 4 screws in a piece of metal that has come loose? PLEASE...We said absolutely not and we would find someone else to do the work. I could understand $300 b/c of the pitch, but this was no coupon deal and I would never recommend them based on our communication experience...no clue to quality of his work. He based his price on the pictures alone and I don't think he even wanted the work to begin with. Maybe he is so busy he can out price himself to not get a job. Worked for us.

I simply wanted chalking of a two ducts in my roof. The roofer, who cancelled the first appointment and was late on the second date, immediately told me that the pitch of my roof was a 9 so that it would involve extra costs. I had never known what classification my roof is. He said the fine print of the coupon (which I've copied below) allowed him to charge more for going on this roof. I mentioned that I'd had a leak in the upstairs bathroom when it rained very hard. He then said this constituted a major repair without ever even stepping on my roof. He wanted to charge $500 per leak before even examining the roof ducts. It short, this was a waste of my money. I'll go back to a previous service that I've used. Talked to owner twice, never got an estimate although he described a bunch of stuff he thought he should do (about $1,500 he estimated when I asked), but did not hear back. Also, the scheduling of the visit was a complete mess. I bought it online, explained days I would be at home, requested a call beforehand. I had to call Angie's List three days after the order because I had not been contacted. I finally was contacted about 6 PM on a day when I was NOT at home and in rush-hour traffic and told the subcontractor would be at my house in 30 minutes! So, I rushed home, it was a stressful experience that I really got no value out of.

I found Roland to be very responsive & professional & I could see that his main helper was very conscientious. I felt secure in his knowledge & competence.

Although we decided not use JenPro, I would like to state that Roland did an outstanding job in communicating the work that needed to be performed. I absolutely recommend them. He was the only one that went into details about was needed and did not try to upsell us.

I bought the deal on Angie's List on June 30th. I received an email from JenPro that same day asking me to call them to schedule an appointment. I received a second email from them on July 4th asking to schedule an appointment. I was on vacation for the 4th and was not checking my emails. At 8:15am Monday morning, July 7th, a representative showed up unannounced. We were home so I said to go ahead and perform the maintenance. By 9am, the worker was gone without a single word. My first complaint: Our home is 7 years old and 4100 square feet. According to the voucher he was supposed to do: a roof inspection, minor roof repairs, caulking exposed nail heads on flashing, resealing around any unsealed pipe collars, exhaust fans, vents, and chimney flashing up to four penetrations, and any other general maintenance. He was able to inspect the entire roof, complete all those tasks, and be packed up and gone in 45 minutes? My second complaint: The JenPro representative did not leave any paperwork regarding the inspection or anything he noted about the roof itself, including condition or that he was even there. My third complaint: Again, according to the voucher, he was supposed to check for interior leaks that may not be noticeable from the exterior of your home. How can he do that if he never came inside? I think I just spent $99 on nothing.

This is the second time I've called upon JenPro Roofing and the second time I've been very happy with them. I woke up one morning to find many, many shingles scattered on my lawn, driveway, and the street in front of my house due to a windstorm during the night. I called JenPro immediately, and Roland sent someone out that day for repairs, because the forecast called for heavy rains. Indeed there was a bad storm that day, and I'm very thankful that JenPro responded so quickly. I'm very glad I found a company that I can depend on for my roofing needs. Thank you JenPro!!!

It went fine. It was one of those things where there are a lot of disclaimers on the ad and so he came out, he was like the roof's pitch is more than we usually do. It took a while to get it serviced. In the end he got the job done. A lot of people don't know what the pitch of their roof is so I imagined that would happen to a number of people. They were only in the outside and they did a good job. Overall it went well. They charged more than right because the pitch is higher. I didn't ask them to do a lot of work, I just wanted them to go up and it was a really simple job so he agreed to do it for not charging more.

Roland was quick to respond and when I initially misunderstood the scope of service. They readily came out and rectified the situation. Good company and responsive.
