+ -1 moreThis company was hired to service central air systems on 3 of my homes. Two of the homes had major problems after their tech serviced my systems. One home started pouring water from the inside unit. Ruined all the carpet in the hall and vinyl tile in a bathroom. I dont know what he did but I had major damage to repair. The second home, about six hours after their service, water started dripping out of the ceiling from the unit located in the ceiling. He had disconnected the drain from the drain pan and just left it! I should have sued them. I had a lot of costly repairs after their "service". I had no problems with these units before this company serviced these units.
Description of Work: This company was hired to service central air systems on 3 of my homes. Just a check up. I am not exactly sure of the date but vividly remember the service I received.

Description of Work: One of my air conditioning outside units would not come on so I called our home warranty company and they sent out Perfect Air. The men from Perfect Air determined that the wiring for the unit was not routed correctly. This caused the wires to rub against the motor housing and short out. The spark cause a hole in one of the freon lines. Perfect Air cleaned the unit, repaired and rerouted the wiring, fixed the leak and recharged the system with freon. When I asked them if they second A/C unit could have the same problem, they the cover off and found the same wiring problem. Even though they were only sent out to repair the one unit, they went ahead and rerouted the wiring in the second one so that I would not have the same problem with that unit. They did not charge me anything for this extra work. I would definitely use them again. The only reason I gave Perfect Air a "B" for price is because freon is so expensive and only partially covered under the home warranty.

+ -1 moreWe had been having problems with our heater for 7 or 8 years. The furnace would run for a few minutes, heat up, but not reach the heat set on the thermostat. Therefore the house was always cold during a cold spell, which admittedly is not often in Southeast Texas. When the guys from Perfect Air came in, they first tried all the things everyone else had tried. The difference was that they persisted until they actually found the problem. It was a resistor or some other doomawhichie that was causing all the problems. It has been working for at least a year now. We are having a cold winter and it is great to have a warm house.
Description of Work: Fixed a longstanding problem with the gas forced air furnace.
