FOUR STAR ROOFING

First of all, I had to call the salesman, and I left messages, just to get a date on the work to be done. I was having my roof redone. Workers tried to go around my satellite dish. I tried to call office & left message that I had a problem. No call back! I fixed the problem with the crew, but it ended up looking like a patch job. So, don't expect for the office or salesman to respond to your messages if you have a problem!

Very good. All work was perform as contracted in a professional manor. Roof went through Hurricane Harvey with no leaks, no problems. What more can you ask. Neighbors were so impressed with the work they asked for their card.

We have used them before for repair. They never had to come back and the repair was great. Then we had our whole roof done with them and they were fantastic. Our neighbors used them as well. Our house is 25 years old so they had to put a lot of wood in there. I think their pricing is okay. They give you your price and it depends on what they have to do as they go along. There is a lot of unknown. They were very thorough in explaining, efficient and everything else.

The quote from Brandon was provided in a timely manner, very detailed, provided multiple options and was clear about the areas where extra charges may occur. The price was reasonable and in the mid range of all the quotes we obtained. He was very familiar with the rules that needed to be followed with the KSA and our neighborhood association. The crew was on-time, completed on time and cleaned up very nicely. They protected the plants as well as used plywood protection when removing things from the roof to protect the house. The existing gutters were not damaged. There were no additional cost or surprises once the existing roof was removed. They do not request any funds until after the work has been completed. Would highly recommend this company.

Excellent service called other roofing companies for estimates but Four Star were the best and affordable. Did a thorough job inspection both inside house, attic and roof. Save time and expense, courteous and prompt, don't waste time calling other roofing companies. I will refer these people to others and use them for all roofing problems. Thank you Four Star!

They did wonderful. Tom was very good to work with. Installed ridgevents and slopevents to help with cooling. Also fixed to leaking areas with the building of 2 crickets. Repaired any damaged areas. They worked from sun up to sun down. Took very good care of the flower beds and picked up all debris. It was a very good experience especially for the amount of work. There price was middle of the road of the few bids we got. The GAF inspector is due anytime now to certify the warranty.

They did a good job. A crew came in the morning and were done by 2 p.m. They even cleaned out the gutter while they were up there and re-installed the gutter screen. The final price was $700 more than the initial estimate due to unseen damage under the shingles. They do not paint, so you'll have to get someone else for that.

Excellent response to inquiry. On time, great ongoing communication, good daily clean up, excellent quality workmanship. well worth the difference in price between them and the lowest bidder.

I called them to get a bid for the project and they gave me a good bid. They gave me alot of information about the job and followed up with me. The company had great phone service and never hesitated to answer any of my questions and they were very professional. Their bid came in $2,000 less than the insurance adjusters and I wasn't sure about this but chose someone else for the job.

Aldo was awesome! He inspected the roof and saw the debris collecting by the flashing. Removed debris, put down some caulk to patch the hole, replaced the flashing and will come back on Wed to check it again. Raised the ac drain line off the shingle temporarliy to keep water from draining onto the area. I am so impressed with the professionalism and friendly demeanor of this company. We will definitely use them again!

They showed up 10 minutes early, they also found additional tear in roof and repaired it without charging extra.They were very patient with the plumbers, who were running late and needed to finish their work before the roofers could begin theirs.

Went well. Technician was punctual and very knowledgeable. He called before coming, arrived on time, determined cause of problem, showed me and explained why leak is not coming from roof.

Called 4 Star on January 27, 2013 to get bid on replacing Roof and Siding on my house. Secretary took my information and said that Tom would be out on January 31. She told me that I would have a bid the same day. This was the 4th bid I was getting. Tom came out when expected. We walked around the house and I was telling him what I wanted. He kept asking me "Why do you want to do that" and at one point asked me "How was I going to pay for the work?" with the sarcasm of I probably couldn't pay for it. He said he would get me a bid by Monday. It's been a month still haven't heard from anyone. Needless to say I went with another contractor.

Bought a house that needed some roof repairs. Called for two estimates. Chose Four Star because they were much more informative.

contacted 4 star roofing for replacement of lead roof jacks with new steel ones. tom nelson performed work on my house during the summer, stopping a leak other roofers had not been able to. their estimate for new jacks came in under 2 other roofers estimates and entails more work to actually be done. still working out scheduling for actual work to be done, but very happy with previous work and anticipate same with 2nd job.

The consult visit went well but we did not need a new roof.

It was a positive experience. The roofer was here at the appointed time, and there has been no problem with the roof since.

They've done several different things for me on the roof that needed to be taken care of over time. There was just an area in the roof joints of the house that the squirrels had tried nodding into the house and they had nodded some wood up there. When he got up there, he found that some of the shingles were actually cracked. He did a few shingle repairs, repaired the wood, painted everything and fixed it all for me. I would absolutely refer him to others. I already had the paint and the shingles too. I really had all my supplies and he just did the labor. Given the picture of the roof, it's very steep out there. It was so hot that time but he did a wonderful job. I think the company is excellent and their price is very good. They are really neat people. This is probably the fourth or fifth time I've used them for a little mix and repairs. They have done a lot of little things for me.

I had a bit of trouble getting them to call me back. When they did schedule something, they were good.

.I tried and tried to contact them and they never called me back. I don't accept that as decent business practice. They used my air conditioner compressor to work and dented it up. They were disrespectful of my shrubs by walking through them all the time.The price was unacceptable, and the quality of the work was terrible.I would not use them again.

Tom provided a quick and accurate estimate of the work that needed to be done, clearly explaining what precipitated the problem and what the risks of not repairing them were. He provided photos backing up the estimate, too. He and his team arrived on time, completed the work on time and professionally. We would use Four Star again.
