O 2 KOOL REFRIGERATION & A/C

I can not say enough positive about Chris and Chuck and O 2 KOOL!! Chuck came out in early January to look at my old Trane gas furnace .. he got it going with no trouble. Now today ... during our ice/snow armageddon it went out again. I called and Chris FaceTimed with me .. looked at what was up and talked me through how to relight the system myself. Good news .. I now have heat! I strongly recommend them to anyone who needs help with their heating and cooling system! They not only helped, but assured me .. a 60 yr old woman .. everything would be OK and safe. That is a VERY rare quality!

Very professional! He was knowledgeable and patient explaining things to me! He educated me on what to pay attention to, gave some good tips.

Butch arrived promptly at scheduled time. He diagnosed the problem and suggested options. O2 Kool is a customer service oriented company. Every technician who has serviced our A/C unit - was courteous, knowledgeable and experienced. I'm so impressed with this company.

Butch called back right away. Came out in a timely fashion. Got one unit working. Then he said the main board was malfunctioning on the downstairs unit and would have to be replaced. It would cost 1200 or 1300. But if we spent a little extra on a service contract he would wave the trip fee and it would be 1100 something. Okay. We did that. It was too late for him to get the board that day so he came out the next day to install the board. But the unit still didn't come on. He said the thermostat was bad and it would we 300 to 500 to replace the thermostat depending on what we wanted. My husband told him we could do that ourselves. Just by pass it and get the unit working. Then he came down and said that the blower motor was out and it would be 1800 to replace the blower motor or 2400 to just replace the whole unit and then we'd be under warranty again. I told them I wanted a second opinion before we did that. I called Ed & Sons they came out, confirmed that we did need a new thermostat. And said they could rebuild the blower motor for around 100$. I ordered two new thermostats for 300 for both of them and my husband installed the thermostats. The work they did was fine. But I felt like they were more of the school of let's just replace parts until it works or we can sell them a new unit. Rather than what can we fix.

The O2 Kool were punctual, courteous and well-informed. Provided a compelling and competitive quote. Completed the job ahead of schedule and in-line with the quote. Great experience!

Kris with Kool refrigeration and a/c found my a/c problem I'm going to have them fix at later date. This is an a+ company and kris the tech could not have been better and very knowledgeable.

They are very quick, efficient and they never charge on things that you don't need.

It works, so we're happy. They were very accommodating as far scheduling.
