I was very pleased with the work done. Mr. Power was on time for the estimate as well as for doing the work. In fact, he told me he was booked solid until July, so I was pleasantly surprised when he called with an opening and was able to do it mid June. The painting and circuit breaker were not part of the original deal, but he was able to do them while he was here. I will definitely call him again if I have work that needs to be done.

Very prompt in arrival at scheduled time. Professional and helpful in advice. Courteous while in home doing repairs. Work quality is good. Would definitely use again.

Don and his son were able to start job within a few days from when he gave an estimate. He did a very professional job and cleaned up afterwards. I will use them again if I need work done on my house

I had contacted Power Home Improvement to come give an estimate for cabinet repair. He was able to fix it right then. He worked around my busy schedule. We have asked him to do some other repairs as well because he is very personable and does a good job, and is reasonably priced. Thanks Mr. Power!

While I was happy with the painting, the job was estimated to take 3 days at which I thought the price was reasonable given what I had in mind. However the job took less than 6 hours!!! I felt I was overcharged for one room and hallway, had to buy my own paint which itself was overestimated with the majority of a 5 gallon left over . I thought the discrepancy in time estimated to complete the job and well as paint left over indicated that the job was either not complete or there was an inability to properly estimate this job. Part of this was my fault as the contract was presented the day the job was to start and I felt pressure to get job started secondary to his schedule and my needing to get to work. I need to have other work done, and would like to use them again (they had the best Angie's list reputation) however I am concerned regarding a repeat of the above experience.

Contractor wrote up a fair proposal, had good communication via cell phone throughout the contract. They didn't try to sell us any more services than what we requested. They were prompt, friendly and neat. They called or conferred with us if there were any changes to the original contract. They finished in a timely manner and did what they said they were going to do, according to the contract. We would hire them again for future work.

In a word, the BEST! We love that he is so honest, professional, on time, fair, and we know the job is going to get done right the first time. Our first experience with him was about three years ago. He replaced the window over our front door. We called him back about a year later to install new lighting in our kitchen. Two of the large flourescent kitchen lights had to be taken out, ceiling patched and new island lights installed. He did a great job, kept it clean and cleaned up what mess there was when he was done. Just this week we had him and his son, DJ out to paint our house. They did a great job, as we expected. We weren't home the second day, but had the house unlocked so they could help themselves to our kitchen and restroom. That's how much we trust Donald. We got home and he was done the 2nd day and the house looks brand new. Fantastic job by a couple of fantastic guys! Thank you!

I was really impressed with Power Home Improvement, Donald and his son performed above and beyond my expectations. The project took two weeks to complete during which time they arrived promptly at 8 and worked a full day. They displayed a vast working knowledge and kept me informed about every aspect of the job. I felt entirely comfortable with leaving Donald and his son to do the work. On a daily basis they would update me on their progress and give me insight as what to expect the following day. They were very helpful and understanding when I had questions or concerns throughout the project. I have worked with many contractors before and have never had such a great experience. I will definitely be calling them for my next project.

Don Power is a complete professional. He and his son arrived on time every day, conducted themselves in a professional manner and cleaned up when finished. Don always kept me informed of his plan as we moved through the phases of the construction. His work is flawless and well worth the money I paid for the job. I will use Power Home Improvement in the future and highly recommend him to anyone wanting quality craftsmanship.

The entire repair took less than an hour, and they were friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call them the next time I need work done around the house!

Excellent work. Very timely. Had to do some custom work to make the ladder fit but it looks and works great. No reason to think it won't last forever. The father and son team work well together. They gave a free estimate and that's what it came out to be. I would certainly recommend them for most household handyman jobs.

Everything went great!! Mr Power and his son provided a quick response to my request for an estimate and they began the work the same week. They were fast, professional and respectful of my home and the fact that I work from home. They made sure I had a place to work while they worked on my office. Also, they moved the large furniture, other companies had a similar price, but were not nearly as responsive or professional and they did not offer the furniture removal and replacement assistance. Working with them was great and I will use them for work in the future.

It took a couple of days to get ahold of this busy father/son duo, but was well worth the wait. They work well together, both having their own field of expertise. They did an excellent job, including cleanup.

General electrical and mechanical repairs associated with selling of house in Temple. Service was excellent and easy to deal with!

They were very friendly hard working and very knowledgeable of what they were doing. They replaced the door and had to place a door that was for a wall with 2X4's in a wall that has 2X6's. It looks better now than Sunday. I will be using them again.

We had a short delay on our start date but it was well worth the wait... when Donald and DJ arrived to begin the job they were prompt and professional and I must say were the BEST and most pleasant contractors I have ever had work in my home. Acoustic removal is a messy job but Donald and DJ cleaned up each day before leaving. In a few months I plan to have bathroom remodeling and I will definitely call Powers Home Improvement to do the job.

Don was great to work with. Unlike other contractors I've worked with who do not communicate very well, Don was great at letting me know where we were during the work. He was prompt, efficient, and a hard worker. A+

I contacted Don Power, by phone on 8/26/13, requesting a bid for replacing some siding and general repairs to my home. He requested I send an e-mail with my address and contact info and he would get back to me in the next few days but by 8/31/13 at the latest. I had not heard from him until 9/5/13 when he phoned, talked to my wife when I wasn't home, and said he wanted to postpone until 9/14, if that was ok. My wife told him she didn't know and he should call me to confirm, when I was home. He has yet to call again and if does I will tell him I am not interested, however I suspect he has more important things to do than deal with a prospective customer.

Mr. Power was extremely professional, courteous, and efficient. His quality of work exceeded our expectations, and he was very willing to make adjustments upon request. We will certainly call on him in the future.

Donald and his son DJ came to visit and discuss what I wanted done after I sent him an email. Donald is busy so it took a little back and forth, but we got our date squared away. Both are very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and I would recommend their work. DJ did most of the work and it was excellent. He came back two weeks later as a small leak had started due to a misalignment on the new plumbing and fixed it up without any additional charge, ie, standing behind their work. The sink in the master bath required additional prep work on my part and DJ was super about working around my needs to get it ready for him to install the new faucet and drain. My only comment was that when he did do the initial install he started very late in the day on a Saturday at around 4:30/5:00pm and worked into the evening until 10pm when we called it quits. He came back the following Monday to complete the work. He had to go two hardware stores (Lowe's and Home Depot) and spent some time trying to figure out how to solve the plumbing situation in one of the bathrooms. It cost a little extra then the original quote due to the unforeseen problems. DJ was persistent in getting the new toilet seat lid to properly align when I noticed it wasn't. He spent 10 minutes on this one little aspect at my request. I highly recommend Power Home Improvements. Both Donald and DJ are friendly, professional, well priced and perhaps most importantly, at least for me, will stand behind their work and did not bat an eye when I requested an additional trip to fix the plumbing issue.

Great! Mr Powers is true to his word, if he tells you he's going to do a job he does it! I was impressed the 1st day when they cleaned up before leaving. There were no added charges, they gave me an estimate up front and stayed within the estimate, except the paint and I got to choose that. They worked very hard, did an excellent job and were pleasant and professional throughout the job! I have hired them to remove the popcorn from all my ceilings and paint the inside of my home!

Mr. power was very professional when he came to give us an estimate. We had a thorough discussion about what I wanted done. He did not hurry through the interview. He was very helpful suggesting ways to go about doing the things I want completed. My husband and I were most impressed with his professionalism. We are excited for the work to begin.

The arrived on time and comleted the work in about 3 hours.
