His workmanship is outstanding. He is open and honest in his dealing, I am totally satisfied with the work he has done in both baths and will recommend him to anyone needing remodeling. He came in removed all fixtures, hauled off the trash, removing tile from tub surround, wallpaper and sheetrock, tub and pulled faucets and commodes. He resurfaced the ceiling and walls, retextured and painted. When he had completed the work there was no evidence that he had been there except the beautifully recreated bathrooms.

Steve does quality work. He did exactly what he said he would do. Cleaned everything as he went. Was very professional. Will use him again in the future!

Steve was the best. He responded quickly when I left him a voice message expressing interest in a quote for my paint job. He is very good at staying in touch, both calling and texting. On the day of the job, he was on time, and very careful to protect my maroon carpet from the white paint. He pays great attention to detail, works fast but not rushed, and when the job was done, he made sure to clean up and remove all his things leaving no trash behind. He even touched up a few patch/spackle jobs I did that didn't look as good as they could have. After Steve's work, I can't even see the patches. This is definitely the man to call if you need ANYTHING painted.

Steve the owner he personally came by and gave me a free estimate, he was very professional and polite. The day of the work he was prompt on time, ready go, the company does quality work very respectful with a fair price. Steve is a straight shooter and he is very honest NOT trying to screw you out of your hard earned money, if he can do it he'll get it done and done right, if he can't do it he'll tell you he can't do it. This profession needs more folks like Native Traditions. I have another house in Killeen and Steve will be doing the work at the home as well. Listen folks! Steve is your man for your home renovations.

Great!!! They took down the walls and ceiling. Replaced the insulation. Put up the new walls, ceiling, painted and put up the new light fixture and electrical outlets in four days. The room is beautiful and the walls and ceiling are perfectly textured. Steve and Bubba did a great job. They are very professional. I can't wait to remodel my kitchen!

Native Traditions is without a doubt honest and trustworthy. We were having two medicine cabinets installed in our home. Steve came to the house and said there was no problem but he thought the plugs by the sink needed to be moved. He was concerned for our safety next to the mirror, plugging in something would put our hands next to the unprotected edge of the mirror. He indicated he wouldn't do the electrical work, he wanted to get a professional electrician. There was no additional cost when the electrician came out. Long story short, the cabinets were installed, the electrical work done and Native Tradition was true to their word.

Steve was EXACTLY the right man for the job! He is extremely particular about not only his work area being clean, but the making sure the rest of the house stays clean as he tracks through to get the to room he's working on. He had no problem with me being in the area asking questions and he offered information that was practical...not just to up-sell me. Most impressive was his relationship with a separate entity that came in behind him to install the shower. This was a team he has worked with in the past and trusted to do well for my needs. He was able to prep the area for them to do a swift installation. Steve showed up when he said he was going to show up. We are currently going to college, and he came to our campus (completely out of his way) so we could touch base and make a down payment. He answers his phone any time, EVERY time, and will call with updated info as needed. I was so impressed with his service that I asked him to do an additional job that is a large undertaking. I will continue to give Native Traditions my business for everything service they provide. I am one extremely satisfied customer!

I was very satisfied with everything they did..the owner is very poticular in everything he does.. Very clean works fast is on time and takes pride in what he does.. Right from the initial meeting, my wife and I both realized Steve (owner) was the right man for our project after contact with several others. He gave us options and suggestions on what he has seen looks well on previous projects. We were going to keep our bathtub but realized that we could have a marble wirlpool tub while staying in our budget. Day 1, his team completely gutted our bathroom and cleaned up very meticulously once completed. On Day 2, Steve actually went shopping with us at the local Lowe's and kind of nudged us in the right direction if we were unsure. Steve coordianted with the marble, cabinet and glass cutters, all of who did impeccable work and custom made everything. There was a leak from the toilet and Steve came out on a Friday evening and fixed it, it was a bad part from the manufacturer. It became very evident that Steve has genuine pride in his projects and his work shows it.

Excellent Job! Getting ready to do my master bathroom as well. A little pricey, but does a very good job! His cleanliness is very good, he is on time, and he does what he needs to do.

This was the 3rd time that we used Native Traditions and Steve never seems to disappoint. They had previously done outstanding tile work for us a few months back, but this time we needed our hot water heater replaced. The first person we called was Steve. Glad we did. Steve again helped us out by telling us what we needed to buy a head of time to cut our costs down. WIthin less than an hour of him arriving, we had our old hot water heater replaced. Native Traditions hauled off our old heater which was great!! We most certainly will be calling Native Traditions back for any future repairs that need to be done.

I enjoyed working with Steve, and was highly impressed with his work. He came in to a total mess and made the situation so much easier, even helping me find the other contractors I need to help him complete the bath (new shower stall, counter top, counter shelf). I would absolutely use Steve again, and fortunately, we have plenty of work to be done!

Steve was great, friendly, and on time. He met us at Lowe's to pick out our materials, ($450) which was not part of the cost estimate. We knew upfront that we would by buying the materials ourselves. I like that Steve helps us get the right materials, after all he's the one who is going to be working with it, and he explains everything. He also loaded the materials on his truck, and transported them to our home himself. There were a few unexpected problems (aren't there always). He wound up having to remove the old tile because it was improperly installed by the builder. He did NOT charge us for removing the old tile, even though it was additional work. Also, the toilets that were rocking, had crooked toilet flanges. Fixing these added $250 to original $600 estimate to remove the old flanges level out the area, and install new flanges in both bathrooms. We were given the option to leave the old flanges, but with the new tile, we felt it would be best to make sure the flanges were done right to prevent future water damage to our new tile. The job was done quickly, professionally, and with continuous updates on the progress and the reasoning behind what he's doing. They cleaned up afterwards, and it was impossible to tell the tile had not been there originally. I especially like the base boards running along the cabinets, which was not done by the builders before -- it just looks so much more finished that way. It looks so wonderful, I'm eager for him to come back and do our kitchen/dining room area! I would absolutely recommend Native Traditions to anyone who wants to have their home improvement job done RIGHT! Steve even rearranged his schedule to get us in before our carpet installers came, which meant he would wind up working on Saturday, and he did so with no additional cost.

I was happy with the work they were doing to the front exterior of our house until it came to re-installing my front storm door. It was not re-installed properly and cannot be secured. Towards the end of their work, Steve seemed to become irritated with the work for some reason. We were left with the impression that he felt he wasn't making any money on the work they were doing. He gave me a price up front and I paid him on the spot. When I told him I was ready to start with completing the rest of the house, he apparently wasn't ready to commit and said they would be back in touch. Well, that's the last I've heard from him. Now I'm left to fix the storm door problem myself and hire another contractor to complete the work to the remainder of the house.

The final price was very close to the price quoted before the job had started. Steve also provided good advice and ideas. They were punctual both days, which is one of my pet peeves, and when they left for the day, cleaned the work area thoroughly. Very professional at all times.

The shower enlargement went as planned and was completed within a week. The shower looked great, and much larger. We will reuse Native Tradition for any other improvements in the future.

This was the second time that Native Traditions came out and fixed a bad tile job done by Lowe's of Temple. Steve was nothing short of stellar again. He had a difficult job a head of him but managed to make it look great! Because of the format of the tile, Steve actually had to tile backwards into the bathroom, keeping the continuity of the previous tile and ending up sitting in the bathtub. It was a difficult job, but it looks absolutely perfect. I have to say that I'm thoroughly impressed with the skill Steve possesses. We plan on having Native Traditions come out again to fix the last of the bad tile work. A+

After having a very bad experience with a guy (Clayton) from Lowe's in Temple who came out, installed tile in the master bathroom, and did EXTREMELY poor work, I found Native Traditions here on Angie's list. I liked what I read and I liked the examples of work they had on their Facebook page, so I decided to give them a call. From the first time I spoke with Steve the owner, there was nothing short of the highest professionalism. Steve was upfront about the quality of work he does and the pride he takes in his jobs, and let me tell you that is the absolute truth. Steve came out and gave us an estimate with no frills. He recommended that I could do some prep work myself, so I could save a few bucks, and was excellent with his communication when I had any questions about the process. The quality and time frame of the work he did was outstanding. He truly practices what he preaches. Our house having some foundation issues, Steve leveled the bathroom floor and made it look great. Overall, I would recommend Native Traditions to anyone who wants top quality service and craftsmanship at a fair price. It's comforting knowing I have someone to count on to do the job right, whatever it may be. Good service is hard to find, and I definitely found it.

Steve was an absolute neat nick-every day when he finished work, I was astonished that I did not have to cleanup anything, there was no dust, trash, tools, broken pieces of anything laying around. His work in all areas was without a doubt the very best I have seen on any home repair job in my 65 years. Steve is friendly, honest and takes pride in his work. One of the most importent things is he will tell you if you are trying to use colors or materials that will not work together. Steve is a rare find/a little expensive but you get what you pay for. He will be remodeling our other bathroom and kitchen in the near future. Our bathroom looks modern and is stunning(the wife is very happy)! Steve helped locate a good marble and cabinet contractor. This was my first home repair job, so I looked on Angie's list and found Native Traditions-what luck!!

Steve was very open and honest. We had two prior people on the job that we let go due to there poor work. Steve really had his work cut out for him. He was able to complete the job in 3 days. Which was nothing short of a miracle because of the work he had to redo from the previous guys mess ups. He was timely and friendly and extremely well organized. A+ job!

We found them on Angie's List. They didn’t do any of the actual work; we didn’t end up buying the house. The quote was $40000. He was very punctual. He was actually there before we arrived at the house, so he showed up early. He is probably one the most honest contractors I've ever met. He won't let us use sub-par products or to use sub parts of contractors for our house. He will give us the best recommendation possible staying within our budget. He will always make sure that it's done right. He will tell us if there's something wrong or something that we might need to look at in the future even if it's not within his current job. He is good. He had brought three or four different photo books with him to show past projects that he had done on different homes, which was great. He had different before and after pictures of some of the actual projects he had worked on. His work truck that he pulled up in was very professional looking. It was very clean and had professional graphics on the side. I was very impressed by that. The caliber was so great; it was something that I hadn’t seen around here. The price was right around where we thought it was going to be.

I hired Native Traditions to remodel a hall bathroom. I had an idea on what I wanted, but I wasn't confident of the result I would get. Steve took the time to give me ideas and went shopping with me to select the items I needed. Steve and his staff arrived on time each day, worked fast, and took care to keep my house clean as they completed the remodel. I was so impressed with the quality of work and care they took that before they finished the hall bathroom I hired them to paint three more rooms and tile the floor in the master bath.
