I had Mayo Autoworks replace my engine, replace the suspension, and paint my car, while they had their "special" for $3500. After 2 months, which I had no problem with the time as long as the engine ran as expected and the paint job is what you expect for that price. In the end and after three calls my car was complete and I had to leave it because the of the paint shop: the headlight shook freely, orange peel on the entire care (it will never shine unless I pay again to have the orange peel corrected), the factory ground effect was hanging down on two sides and later fell again on my way home (after I had to ask twice for them to put them back on after painting), signal lights (had to ask them to put them on, Vent covers (had to ask them to put them back on), the factory back wing bolts are cross threaded, hose marks in the paint where JJ dragged the hose across the paint and didn't make the correction. As for the engine work, the car runs very rough and shakes/vibrates violently, the engine light is on shining as bright as it wants to shine. On the bright side the suspension seems to be ok, but it doesn't matter if the car runs like a tractor and SMOKES. In all, I spent just under $12,000 cash with them not including the parts I supplied. I finally picked up the car, in the same condition as stated above, but now filthy (new paint job, picked up filthy) because it is evident that they cant get it right. Decent premises though and vintage decorative pieces in the office. Very disappointing that I have to take my car to pay another shop to make these corrections.

NEVER COME HERE. The customer service here is horrible (I was called the b-word by the manager because I questioned the work before I left) and the front desk clerk is a con artist. They specifically wrote jargon on my quote to make it seem as though they were replacing everything brand new. When I took them to court they argued that I didn’t understand “the language”... No, I was lied to about the language. They also had my car for almost 2 weeks because of issues with their mechanics breaking my windshield as they tried to replace it. They scratch my paint in the process. Check the photos for proof! Pics show them resurfacing my front rotors and only replacing the back ones. When I paid for brand new rotors. Literally the worst service and my car is in worse condition.

I dropped my vehicle off to get an oil leak diagnosis at 8:00 AM. After no response all day, I called them at 3:00 PM. The service writer asked ME what was wrong with my car (that's what I dropped it off for). She put me on hold for 5 minutes, then gets on the line to tell me that the mechanic will call me back in 10 min. I never got a call back. I called up there at 5:00 PM and the call went directly to voicemail with the message that they are closed. So now, I have to wait overnight, not knowing even if they parked my car inside the shop, not knowing anything... The next day, I still didn't get a call. I called back at 10:00 AM, the same service writer acknowledged that she forgot to call me back. I then got the mechanic on the phone and he said "What?" to me as if I was bothering him. I had to explain to him which vehicle was mine. At this point, he said he would bring it in the shop and look at it. Finally, after 20 mins, he called back and said that it would be $1400 and that he couldn't get to it this week. I wasted 2 days and I still never was able to get my vehicle fixed.

I was quote $1,200 for a multitude of repairs. Earlier this month we had gotten a state inspection sticker from this same place and the only issue covered was a worn a/c belt. A few weeks ago my son took his car to Precision Tune in Arlington to get a leak in his transmission repaired and was informed that is was not leaking but that it was the oil pan and the head gasket (which I remember seeing myself) After these repairs his issues went away. One of the issues here now at Mayo is that they are now saying the transmission is leaking at it will cost $200 to repair. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. We dropped the vehicle off and were told and hour to an hour and a half to get an estimate. 4 hours later they STILL had not looked at the car and then came back 15 minutes later with their estimate. 15 MINUTES!!!! All I wanted was an estimate to see what it would cost to repair, and I am getting charged $89 for a 'diagnostic' Total BS.

Work was done on time and to my satisfaction; however, the shop charge me an additional fee of 88.00 for a road test and call it a diagnostic.

Only mechanic I'll use!

I've been going to Mayo Autoworks for 6 months. I like their service and they did the work. Their quality and professionalism are excellent.
