Ā + -1 moreI called to get an estimate on getting rid of either rats or squirrels in my attic. When the estimator came to my house, I specifically asked him what it would cost to get rid of the pests in the attic and make sure that no more could get in. After determining how they were getting in, he told me it would cost $100. I told him to go ahead, so he closed up the hole into the attic, set a squirrel trap on the roof, and set several rat traps in the attic. Each time I heard a trap snap, I called to get the rats removed. I was shocked when I was billed $45 plus tax each time someone came out to dispose of the dead rats and reset the traps. I wound up paying over $250 for what I was told would cost $100. They did a good job, but the deceptive estimate was totally unacceptable.
Description of Work: Closed hole where rats were getting into my attic, set traps in the attic, and disposed of dead rats.
