Same day service! I had my tenant call me in the morning about the AC not working, I checked the previous reviews and as it turns out, they do have customer service and do not try to over sell you anything that you don't need. Will do business with them next time I have a need.

I called them yesterday between 4 and 5 and they were here today by 10 am to start troubleshooting the issue with the A/C. He made sure everything was working before he left. Also did a whole bunch of extra stuff too, like the spring cleaning of the A/C unit. He was very polite, courteous, thorough, and knowledgeable.

Both techs were informative and diligent to this craft. If you stand by them while they perform their job they both seem happy to let you know what's going on with your system.

Diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the defective part. Checked the entire unit to ensure that there were no other problems or any areas that needed cleaning.

The looked at the unit inside the house and stated he thought that maybe since the brass coupling that "housed" all of the brass tubes from around the unit was where the leak occurred he would be able to remove that one piece and solder a new piece in it's place. He never checked the system to make sure that was where the leak was for sure, he never charged the system, and he spent an entire 20 minutes onsite. When my dad suggested a second opinion the other company looked at the system, charged it with about 1 lb of freon to determine where the leak was for sure and stated that the part could not in fact be replaced due to the internal components. He said the main cooling rings inside the unit would have to be replaced as a unit and gave me a nearly $1000 less quote than the previous company. He also quoted the freon to me as being $40/lb versus the $85/lb that Ellis quoted to me in the beginning. Not only did the other company not lie to me, overcharge me for services and material but were extremely polite, efficient and professional. The second company offered to repair what Ellis's crew broke on my lattice but I said refused and said I wouldn't make them fix what they didn't break. The second company also did not charge me for the freon they used to test the system initially for the diagnosis.

Technician came out the first day to evaluate my situation, and he told me the compressor was out. He said I was going to need a new A/C unit, which he ordered that night. Two technicians came out the next morning, and they were able to get the unit installed before it got too hot out. They did a great job sealing up their work on the outside (my previous A/C unit had cords and wires hanging out and unsecured) and making sure all the wires were properly covered. Overall, very respectful and communicated their progress very often. They even hauled away all the old debris for disposal.

Tech called ahead of arrival. He checked the upflow and cleaned out the condensation line. He also repaired and extended the water outlet outside. Tech also told me everything he was doing so I could understand.

My experience with them was pretty good. They did exactly what they told me they were going to do. I called them, and a guy came and did the estimate. The next week, they came and installed the system. When I spoke to the guy that came out, I was not asking stuff that I did not know. I asked him stuff that I already knew because I have done my research. He did not like try to sell his product. Actually, he installed the one I wanted and not what brand he was selling. He got what I wanted. He got it, ordered it, and installed it for me. The other guys that came had their own brand and they trained with what carrier. They were trying to sell me their band and why their brand was the best brand. So, that made me go with them. So far, I have not had any problems. I had an issue. I called them. They came as soon as they could and took care of it.

Initially there was an issue with the first repair man that came to my property.....which I am not going to go into detail about.....however after calling the business and telling them what had happened they asked for me to allow another Tech to come to my property and access and repair the problem at no cost to me......Now first of all I didn't expect to pay nothing for the repairs I was totally shocked when they insisted on setting things straight. with me. Ultimately they replaced the Reversing Valve and serviced the entire system for free do to the previous situation with the first Tech that came to my house. I am more than Thankful for the Companies professionalism and follow through on this and I highly recommend that if you are in need of A/C or Heating Repairs or services call Ellis Air Systems Inc. you will not go wrong they are honest straight forward guys.........

Today's tech was prompt and courteous, explained everything that he did and why. Completed the job in less time than quoted, then did the regular service, where he found a part on condensor unit (essentially a battery) that needed replacing, $40 + $48 for one lb of freon, tested for leaks and cooling. He even filled a hole where the pipes go outside that should have been filled by the original installer, likely a very good reason why the evap coil was so dirty in the first place. It's working great so far and I'm looking forward to seeing lower electric bills soon. I will happily use Ellis Air for all my future A/C regular maintenance.

My AC stopped blowing cool air and the fan in the outside unit stopped running. A friend recommended them. I called this morning and was told they would be out later on in the afternoon. They were here about two hours after I called. Someone had already told me about how much it should cost just in case someone tried to pull a fast one, but they were spot on. Chris was respectful and took the time to explain everything to me. He replaced the faulty capacitor and services the unit. He also gave me tips to maintain it. My neighbor was here while my unit was being serviced and called to make his appointment! I am very pleased with their service!

Went well came out same day I called.

They thoroughly checked my Air Conditioner, diagnosed the problem, and serviced it to ensure it would run efficiently again for the rest of the summer. It was running a little hot in the house and it was because the feron was low. They didn't try to sell me unnecessary services but did fix what was wrong to keep my unit running smoothly.

Everything went very well, it basically took all day to complete the work. One of the managers, Josh arrived with the work crew as scheduled and with all the materials to begin the work. Josh took the time to explain everything they were going to do as well listen to any concerns I may have had. After completion of the work, Josh showed me how to use the baffle on the ducts and explained how they would balance the air for eac room. They also tested the air flow for each room and adjusted the flow as necessary. He also explained to me about their "Cool Club", whiere they come out twice a year to perform maintenance and check your system. Overall, I was very pleased with their work and professionalism.

He has since left Ellis Air and my interaction with Ellis Air other than Jason has always been negative and rude. All of my family (3 households) are continuing to use Jason Staley as our A/C tech eventhough he is now with Rabroker Air out of Temple.

Jason effectively serviced the 3 A/C units at our ranch. He spent about an hour on the units, explained exactly what he did, and was very polite. I was shocked when the bill was only $65, even though we live way out in the country. We will definitely use Ellis again, and we will be sure to ask for Jason!

Jason arrived the same day as my initial call. He gave me great information and was honest with his observations. He did not try to sell me on work that didn't need to be done. I appreciate his integrity and honesty.

The technician that came out was very professional. He answered all my questions. And he took me step-by-step and explained the problem with the central air system.

Called the night before. Was told they would be out the next morning. Very polite and professional as they asked our needs and made the appointment. Appologized for not being able to come that same evening. Showed up on time next morning after calling to confirm that we were home. The gentleman was very polite and professional. He asked questions to understand our needs first and then only took 15 minutes to fix the problem, answer any of our additional questions, gave suggestions on how to help our unit work more efficiently and shook our hands before he left. They also warranty their work and have the lowest service call charge in the area. Refreshing to know that there are businesses in exsistance that still have true customer service values.

Same day service. Polite, fast, and thorough. Didn't make a mess. Price was right!

The technician and installers were all very professional. They showed at about 8:30 and worked until the job was completed. The technician did not leave until all components were checked out and found to be working properly. The job was completed in one day.

They came right away and knew right away what was wrong. It turned out good.

The guy showed up ahead of scheduled appointment. He asked questions, I answered the questions. He then did a complete check of my heating and cooling system. To find that my freon was low and needed to be recharged. My system required a pound and half but only charged me for a pound.

The repair technician was very friendly. However, he did not want do repair in the afternoon. I requested to schedule the repair work in the afternoon. The technician showed up in the morning. He delayed the repair work for 3 days. Everything else went very well.

They are very hard workers and I always appreciate their work. I've used them for over 10 years and they are just good honest people.
