+ -1 moreKenny is a great technician. He assessed the problem in no time. Contactor was bad. He replaced it with a brand new one and now the air conditioner works again. The company really should have Senior and Military discounts. I believe they would get more business like that. Greatly appreciate all the help. Thank you!!!!

+ -1 moreI hold them in high regard. I have used them for a number of years. They do consistently good work. I wasn't happy with the price but I understand that because of the replacement of refrigerant cost that it is out of their control. If you are using R22 you may want to consider upgrading your unit since the refrigerant won't be cost effective in the next few years. I would recommend doing research on the age of your unit to see if it is compatible with the replacement refrigerant for R22 in the near future.

Description of Work: I called because our clothes dryer was not heating properly. I was told that there would be a $39 charge plus parts to fix the problem. I had asked them to please call ahead before they came because my son had a doctor appointment in the afternoon. I was told that this wouldn't be a problem and that they would work around my schedule. I did not receive a call and I was about to walk out the door to pick up my son when the repairman showed up! I asked about the call ahead of time and he apologized and said that he had forgotten. He said that it would only take 15-20 minutes if it was the part he thought it needed, so I let him look at the dryer. He said that it actually needed THREE parts and that the total would be almost $400! By that time I was running late to get my son, so I told him to go ahead (I figured if I paid his service call plus one from a different provider that it might be even worse). I had to pay him at that point so I could get my son and I left him to finish (the utility was off my garage and he could exit without going back into the house). He told me that he would leave all of the old parts so I could see what he replaced but when I returned home there was only a single part, not the THREE that he charged me for! I called the office several times and tried to get the issue resolved but never could speak with anyone with enough authority to resolve my issues. |I WOULD NEVER, EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS AND I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! |I have since needed repairs to a freezer and found a very punctual and honest repairman to deal with my freezer problem He made two different trips plus ordered and installed a new part for less than $200, night and day difference from Campbell Appliance Repair. Needless to say, Campbell will never do any work for me again and I will do my best to make sure that others know exactly what kind of crooked operation they run.
