Al's Paving

Al did an awesome job he his dad and his crew went beyond what was expected they moved decorative bricks and smoothed and added left over Asphalt by mail box. I would recommend his company to Family and Friends. Thank you.

They did everything that we agreed upon, and then some. Amazing work, restored my faith in contractors. Kidding, nobody's that good. But Al and his crew are close. They repaired/removed a competitor's botched job, and made my driveway the best part of my home. He needs to branch out into other home improvements.

Al's work group is very good at what they do. Al does what he says he'll do, and do it very well. After a number of bids, Al was by far, the company to go with. Would advise friends to call Al's Paving for all their driveway/entrance work.

Al was very responsive and quick. I hired him for a driveway estimate and we agreed upon chip and tar. His crew was great and would’ve been wrapped up in half a day but they ran into a snag and had to come back for a second day. The edges could’ve been more tapered as some of the larger rocks are protruding out but overall I’m pleased with my new driveway and the price I paid for it.

Alex was a total professional! He is reliable, fair and does what he contracts for! We would recommend him for similar jobs and we appreciate his timeliness.

I needed my asphalt driveway re-paved. I had 5 companies come out and give me an estimate and advice on how it should be paved for drainage and so forth. Al was by far the most detailed and explained the scope of work to the last detail. They did a very good job on this project! I will be bringing him back for phase #2 if the project next spring. Al went above and beyond the scope of work and was very reasonable.

Alex came to the facility, understood our situation, gave a bid on the job, and was able to stay within the amount budgeted for the repairs. His crew arrived a few days later and were very professional, worked around our parking situation during the day, and completed the sealing and restriping job in only 1 day. Very honest hard working company. I will be going back to them in the future when our facility is in need of a complete topping of our parking lot.

Initially the work done was outstanding. However, we needed an extra small project done after the initial project was completed. This was about a week later. I had a very difficult time getting a hold of the person that was supervising my project and when I finally did, the response was I will get back with you. He never did. Currently it has been about 3 weeks and I still haven't heard from him. I guess I can assume he will not contact me because he has my money already and the smaller project is not worth the effort. The company we went through is a local company affiliated with M&M. Their business name is AL's Pavement. I am very disappointed in their customer service. The funny thing is one of their bullet points on their business card is, "There is no job too small!" I guess there is.

I received a call from Al's Paving informing me that they were in the neighborhood doing another project ans would like to view my requirement.Martin McDonald came right over.He gave me his card, and I noticed that Al's Paving was not on my list of contractors, but had the same phone number as M&M Paving.He quoted me a price and I accepted it. I asked when he could start, and he replied that the crew could be there right after lunch. They showed up right on schedule and immediately started work. They were finished that afternoon, and the job looked very good. He asked if I wanted the new asphalt sealed. When I said "not at this time", he told me that because the equipment was right there at the job site, he could offer me a reduced price and would extend the warranty from 5 years to 7 years, so I agreed. He used his cell phone to send me an email containing the invoice. I went home, read the invoice and prepared his payment check. Later, I noticed that there was no mention of the warranty period on the invoice, and sent him an email requesting a revised invoice with the warranty period indicated. After several days of not receiving the revised invoice, I called the number on his card. Another gentleman answered and I asked for Martin McDonald. I was informed that he was not available, and I asked him to please have Martin contact me and explained about the lack of the warranty period on the invoice. He said he understood, and would inform Martin of mt request. I am still waiting for the revised invoice. When you call Al's Paving number of 254-383-1469, it goes strait to his mail box, but then you receive a message that the mail box is full and cannot accept any messages, and the call is terminated. That is why I rated them as "good work", but "poor customer service" I will keep trying to contact Martin McDonald with Al's Paving for a revised Invoice, stating the warranty period. I am wondering why Home Advisor listed Al's Paving as M&M Paving, and why they both have the same phone number.
