A Classic Roofing

Everything went well. The team arrived approximately 0800-0830 am, a one hour lunch break taken, and everything was done, to included cleaning up yard, by 4:45 pm. Tarp was put down around the house to catch debris. Bill Webster's team works well together and they are very efficient and courteous.

I called for a quote and they came out promptly. He listened to my concerns about the leak and inspected the entirety of the roof, not just the apparent problem area. He thoroughly explained the condition of the chimney and recommended repairs. We agreed to the work and a date for it to be completed. They came back out when promised and performed the work. No surprises, hidden costs, or any nonsense. Have not had any problems since. Very satisfied and would definitely call A Classic again.

The crew leader was not cooperative and ignored two of my requests. I asked specificlly for him to not drive a heavy truck over my front yard.Three minutes later he did so. I also ask him to not break my front scrubs and he broke several. He was not rude, he was just going to do things as he pleased. Due to a severe hail storm in March 2014, we needed a new roof, gutters, a skylight and window screens. After considering a number of alternatives for the repairs performed, we chose Bill Webster?s A Classic Roofing for our repairs. Bill Webster is outstanding in every respect. He is extremely customer oriented with great concern that the customer be 100% satisfied with the work being performed. Compared to the other estimates we received for the work, A-Classic Roofing was the best overall value for the dollar. A-Classic?s plan cost more, but still stayed within the amount the insurance company paid us. The plan included replacing all the roof vents (not just one or two); replacing the entire 30 year old skylight (not just the dome); and replacing the gutters and screens without referring us to another company. The convenience of having one person to deal with for everything was priceless. Our house is one of the largest in the neighborhood and just the roofs (house, detached garage and gazebo) took almost two days to complete. When the crew arrived, Mr. Webster was with them and introduced us to the on-site supervisor who stayed with the work crew for the entire job. The on-site supervisor was also great. Anytime we came out of the house to view the work, he was right there wanting to know our thoughts. Any concerns were reported immediately and Mr. Webster was on-site shortly to discuss with us. The crew was very polite, friendly and worked well past sunset to clean up after themselves. We will definitely hire this company again. We are extremely satisfied with A-Classic, especially the customer service. The roof, vents, gutters, screens and skylight all look great. We have already requested estimates from A-Classic for two projects to be completed in the fall/early winter when the roofing season slows down.

Called on 15 Apr 2014. He seemed to be great on the phone. We made an appointment for 8 am the next morning. I got up early to meet his schedule. He never showed up. Never called - nothing. In this day of cell phones, no reason not to call and change or cancel an appointment. When I tried to call this morning. His answering service said no service has been established. I just talked to him the day before.

Mr. Bill Webster is awesome!! I'm sure he could tell that I was nervous and did not know what to expect. He explained things very thoroughly, so that I could understand. He told me what happens and what makes the shingles flap, and why they may or may not have to be replaced. He gave me information about a time frame (based on the age of your home) that you should have your roof checked, prior to seeing any damage, just to prevent any problems down the road. After speaking with me for a while, he went on the roof to check out the flapping shingles. I could hear him walking and banging on the roof. After about 30 minutes he was done. I went back outside and he explained that he had found the missing shingle on the ground and that it was in good shape, so he replaced it on the roof. He said the other shingles were still good as well so he just tacked them down again, and that the sun would cause them to stick again. He said he looked at the rest of my roof and he didn't see anything that concerned him and that the roof was still in very good shape. As he talked, I was waiting for him to get to the part about the price. He explained a couple of things and then seemed to turn to walk away. So, I said,...so how much do I owe you? He turned and with a smile, he said,...nothing. I was so shocked, for a minute I didn't know what to say, so I asked again,...what do I give you for your work? Again, he said smiling, we don't charge for doing an estimate, and tacking the shingles were nothing. He reached in his pocket and gave me a business card. He said, if you look on the back you'll see we do other work in the home besides roofing, just call me if you need any other kind of work around the house. I was still a bit surprised, so I thought for a second. Then I said, hey, by the way if you have a moment there is something in my home that I'd like you to look at. I took him inside and showed him the joint areas in the ceiling that are cracking as a result of the house settling. We talked about what it would take to repair it, and made tentative plans to have it done very soon. Bill Webster and "A Classic Roofing" has a customer for life!!! I will call them for all my house repairs. And I will certainly recommend him to all my friends and family!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Angie's List!!

Provider responded the same day I first called seeking a roofing contractor. He suggested improvements for my roof which resulted in improved appearance and quality. The price for the work was more than reasonable, and the work was begun within a week of first contact. On the day the job was begun, the crew and crew leader arrived promptly, and the owner of the company was on site the entire time. The crew was wonderful and responsive and did an excellent job. The roof was completed and everything was cleaned up around the yard and house in two days. The cleanup was very thorough. I have recommended this contractor to my friends, and will use this company for future construction work on my home. This is a responsive, dependable and quality company.

It was fantastic. They were professional about everything they did. They did everything they said they would do. They cleaned up very well behind themselves. They took their time to do it the way it was supposed to be done.

Mr. Webster was prompt in returning my call while calling around trying to find help replacing my roof after several storms had damaged it. He was so polite & understanding with me, knowing I was upset and stressing about getting this fixed. He promptly came out and met with me, did an inspection and explained everything better than the insurance company did. Mr. Webster put my mind at ease about trusting someone to get this taken care of. He got my estimate done and was true to his estimate. It was so nice to have a solid price and no surprises at the end. Him and his crew came in and got it done while I was at work. When I came home the only way you could tell they had been here was seeing the beautiful roof! He called later that evening to make sure I was happy and everything was satisfactory. I will definitly recommend and use him again for future projects!! He is truly a credit to the local businessman!!!

The owner's name is Bill Webster. They were very professional and very prompt. They did excellent work. They went above and beyond to correct it when I had small issues. They had to repair the ceiling in my kitchen after they repaired the roof and they went above and beyond to repair it.
