HANK'S CABINETS

I am doing a massive remodel of a 1980’s era home I purchased in February, 2019. Hanks Cabinets was contacted to update kitchen, utility room, and bathroom cabinets and vanities. Sample of issues: -Replaced door to fold-down ironing board backwards & the hinge made it impossible to pull down the ironing board. -Originally “forgot” to add 2 drawers in utility room. -Installed 7 pullout drawers in kitchen bar, 5 of which are crooked. -Added soft-close function to 5 kitchen drawers, 3 of which won’t close without shoving all the way. -Sent 2 cabinet doors for one kitchen unit that painter discovered were the wrong sizes AFTER he painted them & went to hang. The next 2 doors were also the wrong size leaving a gap between the two doors. -Other cabinet doors do not align. -Made corner shelf unit in triangular shape instead of rounded as discussed. -Started, but never finished appliance “garage”. Multiple people have left Mike Hanks numerous phone & text messages over the course of several weeks, but he has not responded to any of them. If looks like I am now going to have to pay my contractor & painter additional funds to finish or repair Hanks Cabinets’ work.

Overall it was not a pleasant experience. This man was paid for a job he took too long to perform, performed well below decent and never came back to make corrections he PROMISED to fix.
