Description of Work: Had continuous water leak. They inspected outside my house first, then requested to come inside and check. I opened the garage door to let them in and Matt says he immediately heard the water dripping. It was coming from water softener. He turned it to bypass and the continuous flow of water stopped.

In fact, after I got home from work, she told me how much she appreciated the way James went about his task in a very professional manner but, at the same time, he was very pleasant to be around. One of her comments was that he apparently really enjoys what he does. We would be happy to have Holloway Plumbing and, especially, James Ozuna handle any future plumbing issues we might have.

Respect for our property was very evident with paper booties, work mat and extreme caution when moving the appliances in/out of our home. Both individuals remained very focused on the job, brought our attention to any concerns and asked if we were satisfied with the work before final details were performed. + 0 moreEverything went smoothly. My water heater sprung a leak and was beyond repair so I had to get a new one. They removed the old one (took with them) and installed a new more efficient one. I also had a new kitchen faucet and shut off valves replaced. They were very clean and professional. They even gave my daughter a little rubber duck that has plumbing tools in it's hands. She loves it! I plan on using these guys in the future should the need arise. Very Pleased.
Description of Work: I called Simply Water Heaters after contacting a couple of other plumbers in the area. I noticed that this company offers a lowest price guarantee and wanted to see if it was true. Well, I didn't even have to show them the other two estimates as their quote was lower right from the start. I was impressed with their honesty, cleanliness and professionalism. Joe and Duane were very courteous and took extra time to explain everything in detail.

He is the nicest plumbing tech or for that matter the nicest tech we've ever had in our house. He was very professional, courteous and understood our problem completely.
Description of Work: He was called to repair a leak in the dishwasher drain hose. He found the hose connected internally into the dishwasher and advised us we should contact an applicance repair tech to handle since the back of the dishwasher had to be removed to replace hose. He also checked a faucet my wife thought was leaking but was not.

+ -1 moreMember Comments: My wife and I are newly-weds, new to the Kerrville area, but living in an older home that is giving us some "issues". We contacted professional plumbers to help us address some of those issues. I have called on them twice in one week. They unclogged our main drain and installed a new water heater. From technician to business office, these folks are friendly, courteous, and attentive to the customer's needs. I had the pleasure of being served by a master plumber who performed or supervised the heater installation. The master plumber and his helper were prompt, fast but not rushed, friendly, informative, neat, and efficient. From my initial phone call to water heater installation took only a few hours and cost MUCH less than if it had been performed by either of the 2 big help-yourself chains in town that I contacted first. I will not contact the chain stores first. Simply call "Simply Water Heaters" first.
Description of Work: Description Of Work: Clean out sewer clog. Install new American-made gas water heater and dispose of old heater. Flushed lines of particles and sediment. Recommended attention to further issues that need to be addressed. Explained monthly service plan.

+ 0 more. I called at approx. 8:30 am and was put on the schedule for a technician to arrive between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Mike arrived at my front door at exactly 9:05 am and already had some shoe cover socks on his shoes to protect my floors. I was very impressed with his cleanliness and professionalism. I called for a leaking water heater but as Mike was working he noticed that my water softener was not working properly due to the hard water test he performed to insure a longer life for the water heater. At no additional cost, Mike serviced the water softener and put another heavy bag of salt in the tank. Thank You Mike and Simply Water Heaters for all you did for me. I'm very pleased and will highly recommend you to my neighbors and friends and now I know that you work on all plumbing problems and not just water heaters. And at very reasonable prices. Description of Work: I had a leaking water heater and called Simply Water Heaters as I thought maybe I would get more specialized service for this problem than I would by calling an expensive "plumber" to address this. I saw an add where they offer water heater installs starting at $649.00. All I can say is that I'm very happy with their service and honesty. They even put me on their lifetime warranty plan for water heaters and will maintain it for life. No more hot water worries...

+ 0 moreI took a day off work and requested the Holloway Plumbing technicians come in the morning so I had the maximum amount of time for the repair. I was told by Holloway scheduler that they would be there first thing in the morning. Technicians didn?t show up until noon. A secretary called mid morning and told me they would be late. I was informed by the Holloway Plumbing technicians that they do not work by the hour, but by a set price for the job. This sounds like a plus up front, except it was obvious that their first priority was to try to sell me extra services. After an hour of listening to the pitch on recommendations including: water heater flush, upgrading valves & supply lines, steel braided something or other (I know little about plumbing), repiping a drain, upgrading to ball valves, replace ¾ PRV, and a $15/month maintenance plan, (for a total of $1795), I agreed to only the $222 tankless water heater flush and hopefully the hot water heater repair. To be fair, I did ask for information about a water softener installation. At 3:00pm, after the Holloway technicians flushed my water heater, vented gas into my house, and had spent more than an hour on the phone with Bosch tech support, I still had no hot water. Since Bosch east coast tech support closed then, the technicians said they would have to come back the next day. I received a $429 invoice that included a $168 charge for extended diagnostic charges. I was told I needed to pay the bill, which I did. Since I still had no hot water, I called another plumber the next day that cost me another day off work. I stopped payment on the check to Holloway Plumbing. Holloway Plumbing later voided the invoice.
Description of Work: I called Holloway Plumbing for a Bosch tankless water heater repair. I had no hot water and the water heater showed an error code. Holloway technicians tested the heater, with the power and reset buttons, with no results. Then they called Bosch tech support and disconnected a wire per tech support directions, resulting in a different error code, but no hot water. Holloway technicians purged the gas line. Holloway technicians flushed the hot water heater. I still no hot water.

+ -1 moreWe arranged for them to be at our house at 9 AM to complete the PRV and valve replacements. Sure enough at 9 AM, on the dot, they pulled up in front of the house. At that same time we received a call from their office to tell us that they were on their way. I informed the pleasant lady from the office that they were, in fact, just pulling up. The work to remove the old PRV, install the new new ones, along with the two new water cut-off valves and water heater safety tank was all accomplished in about three hours, which I found to be very fast, as they had to dig out around the underground water meter to install the new PRVs, do the work, replace the dirt and encase the entire area in a new access panel. They left the area looking clean and neat. They would return two days later to tackle the master bath. The master bath work took all day. They were a bit late because of a meeting at the office - but we did get a call from the same pleasant lady informing us that they would be late. And there were a few "Murphy's Law" moments during the day, but they took them in stride and pressed on with no (visible) frustration. At the end of the day, the bathroom had a great new look and was as clean as it was before they began the makeover. I don't give compliments where they're not deserved - and I will definitely compliment Texas and Jeff. They were professional, pleasant, courteous, truly honest in letting us know what could and could not be done - and definitely knowledgeable. Holloway Plumbing will surely get all future plumbing business at our house
Description of Work: We purchased some high-end replacement master bathroom fixtures online for the two sinks, shower and whirlpool bath. Once all of the parts were in, it was time to find a plumber to install them. We quickly discovered that finding a plumber to get into the whirlpool bathtub enclosure and replace the spout and faucets, let alone the drain plug, overflow, etc., was going to be a real challenge. Every plumber we called said that they didn't do whirlpool tubs. Then we called Holloway. They sent Texas (believe it or not, that's his first name) and Jeff, his helper, to see us the next day. While at the house, Jeff took a water pressure reading at our front hose bib and discovered that the pressure was far in excess of the safe limit and that the pressure relief valve (PRV) had apparently failed. Texas gave us a quote to replace the PRV (actually, to install two, in tandem), along with a couple other new style water cut-off valves inside the garage. And as luck would have it, the city code had changed since our water heater had been installed and they would be obligated to modify the hot water flow and install a water heater safety tank as well. We gave them the OK to do that work prior to having the bathroom work accomplished. Texas confirmed that getting access to the inside of the whirlpool tub enclosure is always a challenge, but that they could do it. After looking at all of the parts we had purchased and surveying the bathroom, he said that there was another challenge. The new valve that went with the new shower faucet handle could not be installed from the inside, as the size of the hole behind the current handle cover plate was not large enough to get the old valve out and the new valve in. Short of removing the entire marble and glass shower enclosure to get inside the wall, the only other way was to access it would be from the outside, through the exterior wall of the house. He had a bricklayer/mason come by to give us a quote to remove about a dozen bricks and replace them after the plumbing work was done. The quoted price to do that was WAY high, so I told him I'd get my own bricklayer to do the the work (which I did, for 25% of the cost quoted by the one they sent). Holloway Plumbing does not work on an hourly rate basis - they have fixed pricing for virtually every type of plumbing job. They also have a Plumbing Protection Plan that costs $14.95/month ($179.40 for the year) that includes discounts, annual inspection of all plumbing, a water heater adjustment, flushing and tune-up, inspection of drain lines with drain vision camera, and some other preventative actions. If you elect to sign up for the plan, the costs of the various elements of the plumbing jobs are reduced an average of 10%. We opted to take out this protection plan. The total amount of the discounts for these two jobs greatly exceeded the cost of the Plan.

They have a "flat-rate" pricing system that seems very fair; avoids the excessive hourly charges that many local plumbers use, especially since we live 30 minutes from town. A $14.95 per month preventative maintenance contract was offered and accepted; gives discount on all regular service prices, plus extensive once a year check of all plumbing systems. Very pleased with their service and will recommend and use again.
