The job was simple and fairly well done. The problems started when he said he did not need an electrical permit and therefore did not pull one. Of course he needed a permit. I called Steve Riggs in the building department and he got in touch with Dwyane (sorry I missed that conversation). A permit was issued and Dwayne is now charging me extra for having to do this. I fault Dwyane for not getting a permit in his bid (as all contractors do) and the extra charge which I refuse to pay. Telling me there was no need for a permit is very troubling!!!

Called Duane in the evening and he set an appointment for the following afternoon. He was there a few minutes prior to the scheduled appointment. He repaired one light without having to replace the socket. The second light did require a socket, that I had on hand. Both jobs were completed in a minimum amount of time. I will be using Duane again, and I highly recommend his work.

Bennoe's The man is very professorial nice and easy to talk to enplanes if he can the problem very personable. Senior are use to the service calls to be absorbed in the final billing not addled to. i WANT TO BE WITH THE CONTRACTOR AS HE GOES OVER THE PROBLEM AREAS. AFTER ALL I'M PAYING $75.00 FOR SOMETHING. I will shop around next time.through Angies list. Thank you Angie's list and more then likely use Bennoes again.
Description of Work: this is on older rental home and I wanted to meet him at the job site. he was to call me and confirm 4;00 PM OK that's what was suppose to happen. Does not mean he is wrong maybe he would rather scope the job by himself, He charged me for a service call $75-00 if I would have had him do the work this would have been added to the bill NOT absorbed. Two problems one Dryer blows circuit breakers. He pointed out that the breaker instead of 20 should be 30. I changed them out and works fine. next problem TV circuit pops he has no idea why. He came to my home and checked on some electrical I wanted to change out.

He has done a real good job. He still has some things to do. He has been doing what he has been told and doing a good job of it. I would use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Benno's Electric. He provided or put up my fixtures in the bathroom, connecting some of our electrical outside and giving a mid-width circuit breaker box.

At my work, we call on Benno's for our old office building. Dwayne has been keeping us up and running for years, so when my husband and I needed an electrician at our house, we called on the tried and true. We are renovating our house, and the kitchen is undergoing a major gutting. Dwayne has worked around obstacles that include our erratic schedules with contractors, limited space, outdated lines and cats that insist on supervising. Even our 'BAD' cat loitered and annoyingly 'talked' to him while they were in the attic. He's there to get the job done, and just brought the cat down with him when he finished. He's very trustworthy. We gave him access to the house, so he could come and go between other workers. He will return to install the appliances when the cabinets are placed, and we know that we wouldn't have to take the day off, because he'll come in, get the job done, then leave. You wouldn't even notice he had been there if it weren't for the new plugs, lights, equipment, or anything else you asked him to set up.
Description of Work: Prep work for wiring in kitchen undergoing renovation. Replaced outdated line to projected placement of cooktop. Add additional 22O line for new oven. Create dedicated circuit for future refrigerator placement. Relocate existing lines for TV, telephone, sockets and special lighting fixtures. Re-route lines through wall framing, that originally had used soffets as shortcuts. Upgrade older wiring to code. Run electric cable to center of room for future kitchen island (chiseled a trench in the foundation slab), ready for the flooring guys.
