Absolutely the most unethical, most incompetent and most undependable custom home builder I have had the unfortunate experience utilizing in more than 30 years. The home builder has a significant lack of integrity and cannot be trusted. He is morally corrupt and he is a coward. He is completely comfortable lying to your face and his actions border on being illegal. He was repeatedly in breach of our contract to the point we hired a lawyer to represent us. I doubt he has ever had a repeat customer and he certainly does not care about his professional reputation or doing the right thing. He is a classic salesman who “overpromises” and “underdelivers” in all areas. If he sees an opportunity to take advantage of a situation when he thinks he will not be caught, he will aggressively pursue this unconscionable behavior. He will then lie and attempt to blame others when he is caught taking shortcuts and when confronted with the truth. He will not take responsibility for any mistake - there is always an excuse and it is always someone else’s fault. The contractor is unable to follow basic directions or read and follow blueprints or even finish contracted work to the most basic construction standards in a timely fashion. He will make significant construction decisions alone without consulting the owner and then fabricate a reason he decided to do something other than what was previously agreed to by contract. During construction this contractor was unable to be reached for weeks at a time while he went off on trips where he was “always out of cell phone coverage”. He was very rarely on the job site and left the supervision of the subs up to themselves or even the home owner. Numerous wrong measurements throughout the entire house, most horizontal surfaces throughout the house are not level, doors opening the wrong way, bathtub installed in the wrong direction and without connecting the overflow drain, not one mirror or single piece of bathroom hardware installed in the master bathroom (even though we bought all of it ourselves out-of-pocket). The vanity granite was not cut properly and so the entire vanity is off center by 10 inches. Not even the toilet was installed correctly. Same goes for the kitchen. No appliance was installed correctly and not only did the subs not follow the builder blueprints, but none of the subs had even seen the builders blueprints! The kitchen granite was not even cut correctly. Absolutely no excuse for such sloppy, unethical, undependable and unprofessional work. These are just a small fraction of the issues encountered. I utilized this contractor to partially renovate a house in the Hill Country for our retirement home and we are still unable to move into the house.

Very unresponsive in follow-up of an issue with a new construction issue. Numerous calls had to be made to get a reply and then the issue still was not resolved.
