1st time I went to the place of business which is an old run down house. The door was open, I went in but there wasn't anyone around. I called the number on the sign and the voicemail was full. I walked around back to check if maybe they were working out there. No body. The next day Richard who presented himself as the owner called me back. He told me that they were a small business and were running all the time and I should just leave the pieces I needed cut on the table inside. These guys had been recommended to be by the boaters resale shop....Paul... (Who I plan to bring up to speed on how these losers do business.) So I give them a chance. I went back over there and Richard and his helper happened to be there... Rough is the way I would describe the customer service skills. Anyway the guy tells me since its a Friday It will be till Monday till he can handle my order. I ask for a cost. He says: "Ill call you with a price before I cut" I get no call Monday so I call him. Voicemail is full. Tuesday same. Thursday same. I'm writing this on Saturday Evening. I'm crossing these guys off my list as legitimate vendors. Use at you own risk.

Bay Area Glass Company did an excellent job replacing the broken glass in one of the window in my house. I have been very satisfied with the appearance and quality of the window installation. However, the company was difficult to reach by phone when it become necessary at the company's request to reschedule the appointment for the work at my house.

I called this company on or about October 29, 2012. To this date, December 26, I have not received the services I requested. Each time I tried to call back to get information on when to pick up, the phone would eventually ring into a fax. I actually spoke to someone 3 times prior to that. The third time I spoke with them, they told me to call back on a Friday to get set up to pick up on Saturday -- they are only open Monda-Friday, which is inconvenient when I work those days, too. I did call on that Friday and their phone system did not allow to leave a message because it went into a fax. When I had an afternoon off, I drove over to the place only to find the door locked with a padlock-type lock. I never did hear from them.

Rich and his folks did a quick job of repairing the windows. Unfortunately, they broke one of the new panes of glass they were trying to install. After temporarily covering the space where the glass was supposed to go, they had to go back to the shop and return the following day to install the new pane. The tech was very apologetic about the broken pane but hey, it's glass stuff happens. after returning to install the new pane, they even managed to cut and install a new piece of glass in an over-sized picture frame over an expensive print we managed to break.
