Wall to Wall Painting is the worst painter I have ever had to deal with. Took too long, broke things and was deceptive in pricing. The painter was hired upon the recommendation of my decorator. From the beginning, we made sure he was aware of the parameters of the job and any possible challenges. We were closing on our home and needed the entire home painted. We were also having hardwood floors installed. Painter indicated he could work with the flooring guys being there, then got very stressed out by their presence. It was our hope that bedrooms and kitchen would be completed in the five day window we had before the movers were to arrive. This did not happen. The painter worked for approximately 10 days, got less than half the home done and managed to do a litttle in every room, but not finish. He then informed me that he had to leave for two weeks to start and finish a job in a nearby city but would be back. I paid him for work completed but he tried to overcharge me for work completed and more than doubled the pricing for adding a stripe in childrens' bedrooms. He never gave us the price for the striping up front and acted angry about the change. He ended up doubling the cost to us. He backed into my mailbox and broke it, causing $200.00 in damages and one of his workers stood on my cooktop while painting the kitchen walls and broke the corner of it causing $580.00 in damages. In addition, he tried to use a cost estimate for a 1/2 bath he bid as the cost for a child's bath and we never got an answer from him on what to pay him for that work. When I tried to communicate our concerns and ask for a walk-thru to eliminate any potential misunderstandings, he called my husband and chewed him out, stating that this job was tearing his family apart and was just too stressful and he quit. I searched Angie's list and found another painter (Tru Color) who came right away and took care of everything left undone in 2 1/2 days. If you need a painter, hire Tru Color Painting.
