At 6 AM, while replacing worn-out toilet internal guts, the toilet water shutoff valve failed. I immediately called Tim and he was able to get my running water turned off that day with his usual excellent service. I have been using Tim for years and he is always dependable and thorough; willing to go the extra mile.

He is very pleasant and hardworking guy.

Tim is fabulous, thorough, and clean! He's re-routing our pipes because of a slab leak and definitely knows what he's doing. He did a wonderful job putting the new pipe in behind a cabinet because our roof is rather low and cleaned up after all of the dust and yuck that come from cutting into the wall! I'd highly recommend him to anyone!

Tim Darnell is our go to plumber whenever anything goes wrong with plumbing in our home. Have been using him for several years now and he is the best. We had a bathtub in our guest room which was draining slowly and it also had a leaking faucet spout. Tim cleaned the drain and totally replaced the faucet spout with top of the line materials. Also replaced two shower faucet/cartridge works in our main bathroom. Total cost was $321 which was very reasonable as it took a while to replace the bathtub faucet spout as it had to be totally removed, soldered and replaced with new parts. Tim is an extremely neat workman who is always very cautious about keeping our home clean. Will use him again whenever we need plumbing assistance.

Things went very well. Tim worked fast and steady. Removed shoes when entering the house so as not to track or make a mess. Collected the water that had gasket debris so it would not go down the sink and carried it to the front yard and dumped it. We were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He didn't dilly dally but worked quickly to diagnose the problem after we had given him the basics. Worked equally as hard and fast to complete the job in a timely manner. Cleaned up afterward. Did an excellent job and for a fair price. I would definitely use him again.......and again.

Our hot water heater valve was leaking. Tim came the same day. He replaced the leaking valve and added a second shutoff valve on the cold side. He stayed until the jobs were complete. He said our hot and cold lines were crossed and said it would work this way, but not properly. He gave us the option to add a second shutoff valve and correct the crossing of the lines. Tim replaced the leaking valve, 2 flex supply lines, and added the correct location shutoff valve. We can't say enough about Tim. He's an expert, he has extraordinary work ethics, he's prepared, he works hard, he's diligent, he has great workmanship, he's friendly, he's up to date on city regulations, the list goes on. Thank you Tim.

I was extremely pleased with the service. Since my problem was not an emergency I told Tim he could put me on the schedule when it was convenient and he came the next week, which was great. I found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable and he fixed the issues so that everything is perfect. I would definitely recommend him.

I had a loose kitchen faucet and reached out to Tim to schedule a repair. Although he was already booked for the next few days given the recent Thanksgiving holiday backlog, he got back to me immediately and let me know his schedule. I really appreciate that because I only had 2 days off work and needed to get this fixed now and so this allowed me to schedule with another plumber from Angie's list. I routinely go to Angie?s List when I need someone to do work that is beyond my ability, and I depend a lot on the reviews for various service providers. I do not recall ever seeing a provider whose review grades were all ?A?s,? that is, until I found Tim Darnell. As you can see in the description above, the work I needed done was not complicated. I have used 2 other plumbing services from Angie?s List but they are commercialized companies who have travel times, strict book rates, employees who may or may not be conscientious, etc., and none of them have all ?A? review grades. I did not want to call one of them for my simple repairs, so I called Tim. Tim returned my call in a timely manner and told me he was on a large, time-consuming job. He said it would be a week or so before he could do my work. That was fine with me since I had no leaks or other inconvenient issues. Then, when he came to do the work he arrived at the agreed upon time ? on the dot. He carried in the tools and equipment he would need so there was no running back and forth to the truck. I found him to be hard-working and focused on the job, yet he took time to communicate with me about what he found and how he would fix it properly. Here is another important point: when Tim left, the work areas were as clean, or cleaner, than when he started. I have NEVER seen any other plumber do that. I could go on and on about how impressed I was with Tim Darnell as a person and as a skilled and customer-focused plumber. I noted that several other reviewers wrote that he ?is the best? and I say ditto to that. I will definitely use him again whenever I need a plumber.

Tim is simply the best. He has the customer's best interest in mind. He communicates and gathers as much info about the job before he arrives and then does a deep dive to discover the root cause of complex problems. He comes up with creative solutions that keep the cost down and keep the problem from recurring. He is always courteous, professional, and hard working. Because of his superior service, he keeps extremely busy, but if your problem is an emergency, he will find a way to get there and will stay with it until the problem is stabilized, even late into the night if necessary. He deals with his customers as people with a problem rather than just a job to log on his calendar. Have I mentioned that he is the best?

We had a leaky bathtub faucet wasting a lot of water. It is an older model and parts are not easy to get. I contacted Tim and he confirmed he had the parts. He came on time. He did his work quickly even though it is a bit tricky to change these cartridges. He was very professional. A real nice person to work with. It cost me close to his rough estimate (in fact a few dollars less than his estimate). I'll be calling him for any plumbing needs going forward.

As usual Tim did another fantastic job with installing a disposal that he ended up recommending to me. This is about the 4th time we've used Tim on our plumbing projects and we are totally satisfied with his work. I will never use another plumber as long as Tim is in business.

As usual Tim did another great job replacing the valve and water line in my second bathroom. He also returned to finish installing our bathroom faucet after the manufacturer sent me a mounting gasket that was missing from the original faucet kit. My next project for Tim will be to replace our garbage disposal once I determine the right one to purchase.

Tim is one of the very best plumbers I have ever come across. He is so courteous, prompt, hard working, engaging and leaves his work areas spotless. You can't do better than hiring Tim. Great Work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent. He got back to me several times promptly on the phone, and was able to fit me into his schedule quickly. (Our work was not an emergency). He explained everything he had to do, and moved very fast when he had to move between his truck and the house and also between the two bathrooms. It is obvious he is a very hard worker, an honest man, and someone who really knows his business. He also took some extra time which he did not charge me for to try to make the water flow stronger in the toilets. I will definitely use him again whenever I need a plumber.

Mr. Darnell was available for advice on products to consider purchasing. That advice was accurate and I was very glad for it. Appointment time was set; approximate time for toilet replacements was 3 1/2 hours and from arrival to clean up was 3 1/2 hours. I have total trust in Mr. Darnell's quality and work ethic.

Tim Darnell is an outstanding plumber. We have used him for several years now and go to him for advice on plumbing issues and when we have a plumbing problem. Tim acquired the new water heater, got the relevant permits from the city, installed the new water heater, a new surge tank, upgraded the drain pan and put in larger tubing for that pan as well as replaced all water valves and copper piping. His work as always was superb. The city of Southlake inspector said Tim's work is always superbly done. The estimate for all the work was $1400 and the bill came in at $1396. Tim is neat, professional and does outstanding work. We will use him again for any plumbing problems we may have.

I had used Tim Darnell previously at another house so I knew he was the one I wanted to se again for this project. I called to schedule the work and he took the time to discuss with me the various brands, features, pros and cons and costs of kitchen disposals. After talking with him we knew exactly what was right for our usage and went to Lowes and purchased it that weekend. The installation was scheduled for the following Wed. morning. Tim told me the approximate time he would arrive and texted me about thirty minutes before that time to say he was delayed at the supply house and would run about a few minutes late. He arrived only 5 minutes after the scheduled time and went right to work. He covered the kitchen floor where he was working (under the sink) and completed the job in about 45 minutes.
