 + 0 moreChico gave me an estimate much lower than the other estimate I got and he talked in detail about what he would do. However, he failed to get the utility lines marked properly, then informed me he was going out of town for 3 weeks so I told him to "forget it".
Description of Work: When I called, the person I talked to said they didn't do "home repairs", only commercial. They referred me to "Chico's Concrete".

 + -1 moreDo have an understanding of the "why" of the crack in the first place, in order to know how to repair it permanently. The crack in our drive had/has to do with the way the runoff of rain water had eroded the ground underneath the drive. Overall, it went exactly as expected.
Description of Work: We had an inch crack in the back of our driveway that had to be repaired. They came on time, cut out a 4 foot lenght of concrete, and poured new concrete. The job was completed in one day. The mess was hauled off and the repair was complete. While we think the cost was a high we are happy with the job done.

Description of Work: Removed sod and prepped ground to pour large concrete driveway addition next to garage, layed rebar, changed drainage. Did a great job. Also removed a large amount of dirt that had been used for supporting a shed.

 + 0 moreHe did a good job. He was a brave man. I had a bad experience with a contractor, who had left my house undone. So, when this guy came out to give me an estimate, I told him that I didn?t like contractors. He told me that he would change my mind. He was the first person, who had given me the price over the phone and didn?t increase it when he came out to look at my house. His price was in line with the other companies. However, he wasn?t cheap. He put in a 350 foot long driveway for me. He even did some extra work for me. He was helpful and punctual. He was on time to give me the estimate and while doing the work. He worked through several problems. He gave me the phone numbers I needed for getting some problems tackled. My husband likes to overbuild everything. So, he provided me with literature about strength of the concrete, rather than doing the work himself. He wanted me to know how much more I was spending on the concrete work. He was very honest. He coordinated everything. A young guy named Chico was his assistant. He was terrific, too. I recommended him to others, who needed some small jobs done.
Description of Work: Rog’s Concrete put in a driveway for me, a year ago.

 + 0 moreRog and his crew were very professional. They completed the work on time and saved us almost $2000 from previous bids. The crew worked as a team and you could immediately tell they had worked together for a long time. Rog identified a couple of areas that would have been issues with the inspector and we were able to correct them in advance of the inspection.
Description of Work: Excavated around existing house foundation, poured slab, tied in with existing house slab.
