Platinum Painting and Gutters

Anthony and his crew are the greatest. They did a fantastic job. In fact they went over and beyond of what they were suppose to do.

The work was great. It took longer than anticipated because other workers did not show. Otherwise great price and took pride in the work.

I feel the company is over rated. Painting was sloppy and incomplete.

Initially quality of caulking was horrible, but I contacted Ivan and he immediately corrected the problem. I will say they did go above and beyond to correct the few concerns I had. I am satisfied with their work and would hire them again.

It was okay. Lack of communication was a major issue. When contacted it was by text or a call after 8pm at night. Job overall was good. I had to tell him the color and was never given a sit down with color swatches. I asked for an itemized invoice and never received it. Gutter install was not scheduled. I just happened to be off work that day and they showed up.

I thought they did a very good job. They had to come back because they forgot a couple of areas. It was a while before they came back, but they got it done. It took them long because the person who sold us the service took long to respond.

Did not sand moulding before painting so now the new paint is chipping off. Cabinets are all cracking at the seams and also did no prep work on new cabinets to make sure that the paint would go on smoothly

Very well! Crew was professional and efficient. The few areas that needed touch up were handled quickly.

The Platinum Painting crew was very punctual, and we were always able to reach Anthony Gomez, the area representative, for estimates, questions and follow-ups. They took great care to cover everything up that need to be covered to prevent paint splatters. Anthony, Francisco (the foreman) and the painting crew all were very professional; Anthony and Francisco answered all of our questions. The job was done professionally and done right. After the job was finished, we asked for some touch-ups, and they returned within the week to complete our request. The house looks great, and we are very happy.

They did an excellent job. They came when they said they were and finished when they said they would. They cleaned up everything excellent. If there would be a problem with anything, they will take care of it. They helped pick my paint colors perfectly. They know their job. I highly recommend them. This is my 3rd time using them.

Workers and foreman were punctual arriving at 8:00am all three days! Everyone was courteous and professional.

Better than we could ever have imagined. The price was reasonable, the work was started promptly and on time, and it was completed quickly. It's a beautiful job, trim was replaced where needed, and they cleaned up completely. I can hardly wait until we're ready for them to do the interior work. The entire experience was excellent, from office personnel to painters.

Had an appointment for someone to come by and provide an estimate. The agreed time was 16:00 so I had to leave work early and make special arrangements. The appointment time came and went and no one showed. I called Platinum at 16:45 and left a voicemail - 1 week later and still haven't received a response. I am planning to repaint the exterior of my house and garage so that's more of my business they will not be getting in addition to the 2-3 people I know who also need painting work done that I have steered away from Platinum.

This was for me and my wife's very first home. We did not know what to expect, but Platinum made the process very easy and stress free. They were able to begin the project a few days before initially anticipated, which worked out great since we were waiting on this work to be done before we moved in. The project ended up taking a day longer than we thought, but that was communicated to us and it was worth the wait to make sure everything was done correctly. When the work was done, I walked the job with the crew chief and we went over every detail of the project to make sure I was satisfied. We will want to paint the outside of our home at some point and we will be sure to call Platinum when we are ready.

I initially contacted Platinum Painting last fall (late October 2016) and received an estimate at that time. Due to family obligations, out of town trips, the holidays and last but not least my fondness for procrastination, I didn't have any work done until 2017. I reached out to them in April 2017 and was told during a phone call, because I had previously dealt with Ben, I would continue working with him and they would have him call me shortly. To me, I thought within an hour or two. I believe this was on a Thursday. I waited through Friday with no word so I called again and was told he had left the office early on Thursday but they would message him to contact me. (Friday)...After waiting until the following Thursday (still with no contact) I sent him a direct email. He did finally leave me a message on my home phone the next day (Friday). After playing a few rounds of phone tag, we were finally able to speak and schedule the job. The work was completed 5/3 - 5/5, 2017 . They painted (with top of the line Sherwin Williams), caulked, and replaced several pieces of rotted wood. They honored the initial estimate from 6 months earlier and there were no additional charges. Other than a few issues with responsiveness, I'd give Platinum Painting high grades for the actual work, would recommend them to my friends, and would hire them again for future projects.

The pricing for the facia repair work, pre-painting preparation and re-painting was very competative with other bidders. However, the pricing for the gutter work was more than 50% higher than the other bidders. Hence, the gutter work was performed by another contractor. The exterior painting related work was perfomed during the scheduled time frame and the completed work looks very good. Contractor even came back after two weeks and performed some minor touch-ups at the request of home owner.

They did the work requested in a very good manner and I really like working with them. Unfortunately, after getting three bids on other projects, they went "dead" - I tried to get in touch with the main contact from October of last year, periodically sending a text or leaving a voice mail and still not one response. I called the main office and was told that the person who had never responded to me had to be the one I dealt with. I have reluctantly decided to go with another painter because I just can't justify relying again on this company in light of my experience.

The workers came as promised, and performed everything that was agreed upon. They were fast, thorough, and accommodating.

Overall they did a really good job and completed pretty much within the time frame we expected. Price was very reasonable. They had to come back a couple of times for punchlist items. Only negative issues I feel were the cut lines for paint could have been a little cleaner and they could have done a bettet cleanup with the dust and floors.

Raul quickly responded to my request to have the work completed within 5 days and he was helpful to me in choosing the best color for my home. Raul answered all my questions and he made it easy to communicate the details of the project. I was impressed that his crew began the project in less than 2 days. Moses, Julio, and Walter were the best group of workers. Moses made sure that I was pleased with all the work above and beyond what I had experienced with painters in the past. The crew was prompt, hard working, professional and easy to communicate with. Everything went better than I expected. They were fast and job was well done. The only thing I didn't like about was someone left couple of cigarette butts in the garage. (We let them to come/go through from garage door since the kitchen is next to the garage. )

Amazing. Plan was for two days but they sent such a large, well equipped and skilled crew they finished in one day including quite a bit of board replacement with higher grade trim (chimney, eaves). They trimmed a tree back a bit so I did not have to hire someone and delay. Their quote was about 900 more than the other one I got, but I told both bidders I was looking for value not lowest price. Platinum suggested several upgrades to original materials, recaulked all windows (not just those most in need). I gladly paid the extra and know exactly what value I got for it. And it was no pressure, just information and suggestions which made sense. Superb experience. No down payment. Paid when job was done.

Finished in 1.5 days. Clean up was done well. Used 20% off coupon sent in mail. Painters did not all speak English.

I have used Platinum Painting for interior painting in the past, and have now used them again for exterior chimney and door weather damage repair and repainting. They have shown me they are dependable, intent on delivering quality work, and receptive to my concerns in getting a job done right. Leo with crew arrived punctually as promised, removed and replaced damaged chimney wood with Hardie board and repaired weather damaged wood on door frames where needed and repainted. This was done same day with excellent cleanup when the job was done. The following day I noticed a small area that needed a minor touch up. Calling Platinum they promptly returned and took care of it. I would recommend this company to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again.
