It was a good price, compared to others. Teresa was very helpful in picking out colors.

After we accepted the bid ,my husband and I walked through the house noting all the areas that needed to be addressed and the colors and texture. Teresa had very good suggestions in color choices. Teresa showed up with her foreman and crew on the Monday that they were to start work. She walked with the foreman showing what colors the different rooms and what we wanted done. The crew started that Monday, they removed the popcorn ceiling in one sections of the house sealing all of the open family area to keep the dust down. They covered the floors and wall areas in closets and all the furniture, ceiling fans, and light fixtures. They cleaned up after themselves every evening. The crew and Teresa showed with all the paint and items they needed with out the crew having to leave. The crew was very nice. They went out of their way to work with us. Everyone was so polite. We took down the whole house fan and I was going to paint it, but the painters took the fan vents and painted it and all the heating and cooling vents to match the ceiling color. I am really impressed with the crew, removing all the popcorn ceiling, painting texturing etc in a 2000 ft house, was started on a Monday and was finished by Thursday of the same week. Foreman showed up everyday. There was also a lead person on the crew that kept us updated on their progress daily showing what and where they stopped. Very impressed. One of the crew removed a large mirror that I could not remove when I stripped the wallpaper, he even removed the wallpaper that was behind the mirror and the texture was great. This company was outstanding.

Absolutely outstanding. I will use them in the future for any interior or exterior painting I need.

Carl had a crew of six men and it was done in 2 1/2 days. They did a great job and cleaned up pretty good. He gave us a bid on our exterior in June 2012, but we used someone else and I wish we had used them instead. Next time I will call them.

Anthony came right out and gave us an estimate. I had three estimates and chose Platinum Painting. We have just under 5000 sq ft and they painted from top to bottom inside and out. They also put vents along the awning of the house about 13 of them. If you have a request They will do there best to make it happen. They had a large crew and finished in a week. I had faux painting done in a half bath and the Masterbath and have had many complements on what a good job they did. They came back twice for touchups after other work was performed. I would use them again and refer them to my friends.

The owner came out, he is a very pleasant man. Gave us two estimates, one in the event we needed two coats and one if we only required one coat. I opted to go with two coats. The painters were quick, efficient and the rooms look great.

Overall, excellent quality - then they used petroleum based solvents to clean up - and killed two patches of grass. The one the front yard is the size of a card table, and only a few feet from the street. If they had used the street or garage apron, there would have been no problem. The patch in the back is smaller, but both are still noticeable.

Platinum Painting's pricing is more reasonable than the others I received. The people were good. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with color selection. They gave me the quote for free.

I worked mainly with the owner, Karl, and he was very responsive and easy to work with. He spent about an hour and a half on the estimate, measuring each room and doing a full walk around on all rooms and the exterior. We wanted line item detail for each room because we weren't sure which ones we would do and when and he broke everything down by ceiling, walls, trim, cabinetry, repairs and all by room, a very detailed quote which is exactly what we wanted. We hired Platinum after receiving a quote from another highly rated company on Angie's list, but we did not like the estimators style, they didn't break down the estimate with detail and they were much higher in cost. Karl's crew started exactly at the time they said they would, the crew lead doing another walk around with me. All 5 guys on the crew were very pleasant and everyone always wore Platinum shirts and drove Platinum trucks, which was very important to my wife. The experience was much more professional than I expected. 2 or 3 guys on the crew spoke and understood English so it wasn't a problem communicating, they were polite and asked to make sure they could use the bathroom first thing. The painting went very well, and quick. We had them paint the ceiling, walls and trim in the living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast area, all attached hallways, laundry room and one bedroom and bath, including all cabinets inside and out. The ceiling had one fairly major repair that they fixed first, plus they fixed all the dings and holes from nails. They completed the ceiling by early afternoon and had the walls pretty complete by the end of the first day. They mainly did trim work the full second day. The repair on the ceiling was pretty good but I could still see it the morning of the second day, even after adding another coat of paint, so I called Karl and he came out to look at it. I know its very difficult to make a repair and re-texture to a patch and make it blend back in, but I asked them to try again and Karl had no problems with that. The crew re-floated the patch and re-textured a much larger area to blend it back in and they did a great job the second time, you cannot see the patch at all, so I commend them for doing it again and making the customer happy. Overall we are very happy with the job they did, we have hired them to do the exterior painting now and re-finish the front door, that will happen in about a week from now. We requested the same crew since they worked out so well the first time. Platinum honored the Angie's list coupon and gave us a great price right away, they have a good reputation and it's evident that Karl works hard to protect it.

Karl came out and gave me a quote. I met his team: project manager and head painter. We went on vacation, then contacted him upon return and he came down on price. Our home is very large, but it was Karl and his team that were professional and honest. I felt very comfortable giving him our business and I will use him again.

They were very professional but we decided to use someone else. They called me back several times to check on me. I have nothing bad to say about them. I accidentally submitted the wrong report on this company and they were very professional about it. They were on time and the information they gave was very good. They just happened to be more expensive than the other person so we went with the other person.

we contacted them paint our 4k square foot home that has a stucco exterior.. The estimate that was given to us was twice the price of any other we contacted.When we did bring this up to them, we were told it was because of the drastic color change.(we were going from a light gray to a light tan) Then the person that I talked with informed us that if we choose a similar color then it would be 6k cheaper. With that being said the company that we did decide to go with came gave us a quote and said there is not that big of a color change and to prove it brought a gallon of the Sherwin Williams approved paint for stucco and a sprayer out of his truck and sprayed us a 4x8 sample and it looked perfect!We understand that they may do great work but we just feel that the estimator was trying to take us to the cleaners on this one.

Theresa and her team were excellent! Definitely hire these guys! I just joined Angie's list so that is the reason for the delayed review but these guys did great work last year. We needed to texture and paint a lot of the interior of our house.The texturing was needed due to remnants and scars from the removal of old wallpaper. They used the typical knock-down texturing common in Texas homes. We also were turning a wet bar into an office. I did the demolition work and stripped the area down to the studs because the original drywall may have had aspestos mastik and I did't want to try to sand it off and risk it getting into the air. Theresa's team came in and laid a few pieces of tile to match the flooring and did the drywall and paint. Her team was quick, clean (A LOT of protective measures) and extremely proffesional. I almost wish I could afford to fly her up to VA where I live now to do some more work for us.

We have loved Platinum Painting since they did large portions of our interior, so we called them immediately when we decided that it was time to repair and paint the exterior. The front man was courteous and punctual, gave us a fair estimate, and so we began. The on-site crew was punctual, hard-working, exceedingly courteous, and they paid meticulous attention to detail. ----As it turned out the weather was not in their favor; we had a series of rain delays, and delays that produced a somewhat hasty finish (everyone was anxious to have them leave, both us and them).------- After the crew had pulled out, and the sun began to shine, we noticed a handful of missed spots and splatters. Also, the porch paint, which was (apparently) a new product, ended up not sticking in several spots to the floor. In follow-up phone calls , Platinum employees were exceedingly friendly and accommodating, taking it for granted that the would be out to do the touch up and finishing as soon as possible. And they were. To repeat, We love Platinum. You might find a company that paints for less money, but you will not find a better painting company. We recommend them with enthusiasm.

Everything when smooth as silk from the estimate, to the painting and sheetrock repair and final walkthrough. They lived up to their motto, they cut no corners, only painted them. Edgar, the job foreman, kept us apprised daily of the progress the crew made in painting. They arrived and left at the time indicated each day, they finished the job in the time predicted, they did a great job moving and protecting our furniture during the job and putting it back when they were done. Our floors were well protected as well. We would and will use them again.

Theresa is a pleasure to work with. She is very responsive and always happy to answer questions, even when she is on vacation. She runs a great company and has several talented painters/carpenters working for her. From the initial contact she worked with us and our schedule. We had just a few days before we needed to move in and she got hers crews there and completed in the time we needed. We made several changes/additions while they were there and they took care of them all without any complaints. During the final walkthrough we both caught some items that they corrected immediately. Several months later the repair of the garage ceiling was cracking and they came back and fixed it quickly and with no hassles at all.

Excellent . They repaired the wallboard problems at no extra cost which was great.

The work crew showed up exactly on time and started work immediately. They were quick, did an outstanding job, and listened to my concerns. They were very detail oriented and were respectful of my home and finished the entire project in two days (the agreed amount of time). The results are fantastic! They also did an excellent job of cleaning up my yard and the inside of the house when the work was finished and were very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend W2W Painting to everyone. They provided exceptional work for a competitive price and I would use them again.

Karl Pickens and the Platinum Painting crew did an outstanding job. Paint color matched perfectly, which accentuated the existing wall cover . His crew was very careful in covering all items in each room;moving furniture as necessary. His crew was very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. The overall ceiling looks great. His crew did an absolutely perfect job in concealing the unsightly 4'x5' area in the foyer ceiling. Now, after 3 years, I no longer am able to locate the 4'x5' flawed ceiling! To Karl Perkings and his Platinum Painting crew--a job well done.

Love W2W! I called Theresa and she came out the next day for the estimate. She was on time and emailed me the estimate later that afternoon. The price was fair (about $90 less than the other quote I had received). We scheduled the work for about a week out. She accompanied her crew and arrived on time to go over exactly what needed to be done with her crew. Theresa then left and the crew quickly went to work and did a good job. They were there from about 8:30 to 4:00PM and were diligent about their work. They cleaned up well. Overall it was just a very good positive experience. The job was not without issues. Theresa handled them like a true professional. First issue- After I paid and they left I realized they needed to touch up the trim on some recessed lighting cans on the bathroom ceiling. Her crew arrived as scheduled on the next business day and took care of this minor issue. The second issue dealt with me buying more paint. A crewmember came and asked me to buy another gallon of paint for the walls (we new it would be close with only two gallons). Turns out they only used about a pint of the 3rd gallon. At $60 a gallon (good stuff) I was a bit perturbed that they didn't simply ask me for another quart not a gallon. This was definitely a lesson learned for the next time I use them. While I don't mind having some extra for touch ups I certainly don't need over 3 quarts. This wouldn't have even been a problem if I had just used their paint (Sherman Williams) but I have a thing for Pittsburgh Manor Hall.

Arrived on time every morning, worked until 7 each night and asked to work both weekend days. Kept everything else sealed off as they moved from room to room. Left clean, fresh, perfectly painted ceilings and walls, vacuumed carpet, furniture returned to original positions. Verified paint colors and kept me informed each morning as to what would be accomplished that day. Informed me of what was done before leaving each night. No cost surprises. Happy to repaint a room if I did not like it. Supervisor came by each day to review where we stood on the schedule and ask the crew if they needed anything. Yard and porches left clean. Crew chief and crew were courteous and professional throughout the week.

My experience with W-2-W was AWESOME! Theresa Blackwell was professional, provided me with a very detailed estimate, answered all of my questions and responded very promptly. Once we started the project, her team was on time. They did exactly what Theresa said they would do and they did it extremely well. The crew covered everything, kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up after at the end of each work day. I was really impressed with how well they worked together and they were a very happy group. I had an "average" experience with a general contractor last summer and so was a little anxious at how this project might work. Very, very different. I was so happy working with this team. If I saw something that needed a little fix, they did it immediately. I wanted to replace the exteriors of all of my old recessed lighting and my celing vent returns - No problem, I bought them and they put them up instead of the old ones. Again, I thought the whole process was fabulous and my house looks wonderful. Theresa gave me great advice on wall and ceiling color and I was so impressed with her suggestions, I even went a shade darker in my living room. And I LOVE it. I even changed a paint color on the first day of the project and instead of white, wanted something slightly different on all of the celings. Theresa immediately took care of it - no big deal. I also added part of an additional room to the project at the end because everything else was looking so wonderful. Again, no issue for Theresa or her team. I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone and will definitely use them again. I am still bragging on them and showing off my house to anyone who will take the time to look. I am a very happy, satisfied customer. And I am so glad that I found them on Angie's list as well.

Karl with Platinum Painting arrived promptly for the initial estimate. Our project was to paint the conference room of my business. He took some measurements and gave an extremely reasonable estimate. In fact, it was below his typical "minimum" charge. Karl recognized the potential for further business and so he was modest with his quote. Since his quote was so modest, I immediately added to the project. We scheduled the appointment for a week or so later. The crew arrived on time with a project manager. They efficiently completed the project. I was pleased with the work and cut the crew loose. Platinum is very professional. I will most definitely use Karl for future projects at home and business.

Overall they did a great job, it took a little longer than anticipated due to the texture not drying quick enough but that can't be helped. Our only complaint was that we had nails left in so we wouldn't have to remeasure for hanging everything back on the walls and they took those down and painted over them in the living room. All the other rooms the nails were left in. Everyone was very polite and responsive. At the end of the job, I noticed a few things that were missed or I wanted corrected and they did them right away.

I contacted w2w through their website and received a call within a day or so to arrange an estimate. I got three estimates that were all fairly close in price and service. She uses sherwin williams paint. I went with them based on price as all the companies I looked at were well reviewed on Angie's List. Scheduling was easy. They came out the day prior to painting and power washed all areas to be painted then the next morning the crew arrives and they scraped, caulked then painted. I had the doors painting and they hand painted/rolled the doors. They asked me to do a final walk around and everything looked great. Now having had a few more days to look at their work the only thing I would change would be to ask them to remove the door hardware prior to painting. but you would have to look closely to realize that they painted around the hardware.
