Earlier in the year, we had another of our three hvac systems replaced. This time, we had come home from vacation to find another system was not blowing cold air. Our house was built in 1995 and the systems were original to back then. I called Paschall the morning after we got back and they sent someone out the same day to take a look. We received the quote for a new system and were able to schedule an install for less than a week later. I was told they would arrive between 6 and 7 AM (due to the summer heat) to start work on the install. I think it was closer to 8 or 8:30 when they arrived, but the install went smoothly and we were back with a cool house that afternoon. Paschall has been there when I've needed them. As I mentioned, I had another system replaced earlier in the year. They also did miscellaneous repairs on the old systems - such as replacing an ignitor, replacing a blower motor, etc. They've always fixed the problem quickly, efficiently, and correctly AND they seem to me to be fair-priced and honest, which is what I really value. I also use them twice a year for preventive maintenance visits to check out the systems for the upcoming season. I've used them exclusively since October 2007.

My air conditioning stopped working overnight, so I called AC Serviceman in the morning. They arranged to have somebody come out to fix it within four hours. The repairman arrived within five minutes of the time that they said he would arrive. The mechanic, Rocky, fixed the air conditioner within an hour, as well did some maintenance to optimize the performance. He was very professional, and the price for the work done was fair.

I selected this company based on the favorable reviews. My overall experience was excellent and aligned with previous reviewers. My AC quit blowing cold air late in the evening so I went looking for a 24 hour company since it has been 100+ temps for what feels like an eternity. As I looked at reviews, I selected this company for its favorable reviews and significant number of reviews. It stated 24 hour service so I called the number listed on Angie's List. My call went to an answering machine so I am not sure this is a 24 hour company. I left a message asking them to please call me in the morning. AC Serviceman called me the next morning at 7:15. They asked me what problem I was experiencing and if today was good from a scheduling standpoint. I was shocked when they said they could be at my house between 10AM - 1PM. The tech arrived during the allotted service window. He was professional and courteous. We briefly discussed the problem and he went to work. Within 15 minutes the problem was diagnosed, a bad condenser fan. He told me he checked the voltage and it was not correct indicating this was the problem. I am not sure if I was lucky or they happen to carry these parts on their truck but the tech stated he had a replacement fan available. He said it would take about 30 minutes to replace ant the cost would be $425. I went ahead and had it replaced not really knowing if the price was too high, too low or just right and trusted the previous reviews plus it was ROASTING in my house! While the tech was working I researched estimates on the web and feel confident I paid a fair price. After the repair was completed the tech came in and measured the air temp from the vent with a laser thermostat confirming the air blowing was matching my thermostat setting. This may not seem like much but a prior company simply stuck their hand under the vent. I had problems with the work this prior company completed so I tend to pay attention to the small things. This attention to detail was nice. Likewise, a clean work truck impressed me too. Good - same day service, on-time appointment, professional and courteous service tech, clean and new work truck, parts availability Bad - bill was not itemized between service call, parts & labor Other - not sure it they are 24 hour company, PO Box for company address (I am not sure if this is a common practice but I like brick and mortar buildings) I may have rated them excellent for price if the bill was itemized. I will use them again and recommend to others.

Great responsiveness. When I had made the call to set things up I suggested coming out the next morning. The request was intended to be partially in jest as I had no illusions about when an AC company decides to show up, kind of like your typical plumber. However, to my pleasant surprise the 'lady on the phone' , Michelle, had no problems setting up the service call per my request. Jason B showed up the next morning. He proceeded with the service call, all the while explaining what he was doing and the status of the systems. All turned out well, giving us some peace of mind that our systems are operating correctly. Fair price of which I gladly paid. A couple of things here: 1) I just very recently signed up on Angies List because of the influence of recent TV and radio ads. Thought I'd try it. Signed up for a year. Looking over web site, as I needed AC service, I decided to go with 'AC Serviceman' simply due to the number of positive reports filed on their behalf, and 2) 'AC Serviceman' was really impressive with all aspects of how they handled the service call. These experiences have been enjoyable inasmuch as anytime one asks for some kind of home service call, it's usually a difficult thing. But not this time.

They worked three hours and diagnosed the problem with our air conditioner unit. They were tremendous as far as I am concerned. The technicians went beyond what other people have done in the past in trying to diagnose our problem. We are waiting to do the repairs that they talked about.

They did an excellent job, gave me some ideas that I had not thought of. Completed the job quickly, on time. This job was on my rent house. I have used Paschall for years & will continue too.

They gave me a range what the different services would cost. I liked that. They showed up early. I was in office and they had come a day earlier than they were scheduled. That was not good. They were responsive to everything. They were too overly punctual. I would use them in the future.

One of our systems was shutting down due to low freon. They came out, charged the system with leak detection fluid. They suspected the evaporator coil, but thought the leak was slow. The leak turned out not to be small and the system shut down again within one week. They replaced the evaporator coil which fixed the system. The coil was out of warranty, and they didn't install initially, but they did try to work with Lennox to replace. They were unsuccessful, but I am convinced they tried hard. The original installers (Rattaree) did little to help and their quote to replace was higher. The total cost from Paschall was ~$1200. On the day before they came to replace the evaporator coil, our compressor on the other system froze. They tried to unfreeze it, but were unsuccessful. I was on the phone with the employee at my house, and questioned why was everything was failing (were we missing some basic root cause for problems, or was this all a coincidence). He didn't know what the other team had done previously. The man thought I was accusing him of breaking the system, was very rude and hung up on me. I called the main office and they were very apologetic. They said the man was leaving the company and was obviously stopped caring. The reason I gave them an "A" was based on how they approached the problem. They were sincere in the apology, got a new compressor quickly, and had it installed the same day. They are a great company to work with, and I would recommend them to anyone. I would definitely use them again.

Team arrived promptly on the day agreed. They worked quickly and took care to cover indoor work areas. Mine was a pretty simple job, one story, one unit outside and inside replacement. Total job took them about 2-1/2 hours. They did a quick demo of the new thermostat before they left. I also filed for the Texas state energy rebate program. I was also very impressed that their office staff took care of all the paperwork for that request, because there was a deadline that I was pushing up against. They drove to my house to pick up additional information and mailed off the paperwork themselves by the deadline. I was extremely happy to get my rebate check from the state of Texas in early March! Wow! Great job and very good company to work with. The unit has been working great so far, and got quite a workout during the "Great Super Bowl Week Freeze" in February 2011.

I called AC Serviceman Heating and Air based on the reviews in Angies List and their proximity to my residence. The scheduler, Michelle, worked with me on the show time for the repairmen. Initially giving me and afternoon-evening window, then changing to morning at my request. I got off the phone with her at 8 AM. The technician arrived at 9 AM, and the AC was repaired and running again by 9:25. The technician, Greg, was proffessional, knowledgable, and went right to work. He diagnosed a failed run capacitor in 5 minutes and had the part in stock on his truck. The service call was $170.00, less $20 for the Angies List coupon, and included the cost of the replacement part and a 1 year warranty. I will be using this company agian in the fall when it is time to have the heater serviced.

They didn?t fix our problem but no one has been able to figure out what is wrong. They were good people and the technician did a fine job but my bedroom is still hot.

Called late in day as A/C wasn't performing and it was HOT. Their office was closed but he got my message,and called from another job and said he would get to me tomorrow or sooner depending on how fast he gets done with the work orders he has. He called a short time later and was able to get to me within an hour. The repair was quick but his advise on the phone earlier to shut the A/C off (suspecting the fan) probably saved a more expensive repair. Great Service!!.

We've used this company twice in the past 6 months, first on a home we were selling, second on our new home. Both times they've been prompt, clean and professional.

They came out looked at the current system & made their recommendations, I agreed with them. The job went very smoothly, no problems. I am very satisfied with their work & will use them again when I buy another rent house.

The technician was very courteous and prompt. I had no idea that they would be able to come out the same day, much less within the hour. Kudos. The price was also much less than the previous repair service that we used.

Michelle was very nice and booked me within two days, then called the day of to let me know Greg was on his way. He got here in the allotted window of time (3-5pm) and went right to work. I was very pleased with the quote that I had received from A.C. Serviceman /Paschal Air Conditioning (they are now the same company) for the Lennox CBX27 (Elite Series) air handler and a XP14 heat pump (Elite Series). The technicians arrived on-time and did a very good job laying down plastic and tarps to contain any dirt in the AC cabinet. However, when they pulled out the heat pump, I could clearly see that it was not the heat pump I had been quoted. They had the lower-end Merit heat pump as opposed to the higher-end Elite series heat pump. Scott Whitlow, who had quoted me the system, came out and confirmed that he had misquoted the system. However, instead of trying to do a bait and switch, he offered to give the Elite series for cost that day or do something else to compansate me. As it turns out, we negotiated a free hail guard and free service for 2 years. As it was, the key difference to me between the Elite and Merit series was the hail guard to protect the coils. They finished the installation that day and only left a couple of nicks on the trim on the AC cabinet as the only sign they had been there. They came back three weeks later to install the hail guard. I am very happy with the system and the install. I think Scott Whitlow is a stand-up guy that made a mistake, but went out of his way to satisfy his customer.

Came quickly and diagnosed a bad contactor. Replaced and it ran. Unfortunately this was not the part causing the problem and by the evening the unit would not run again. I called AC Serviceman and Advance AC to get the quickest call and AC serviceman did not call back for a day so Advanced AC actually fixed it right. Don't forget your coupon, I always do and forgot AGAIN to ask for the discount :(

Excellent. I am extremely apprehensive getting work on equipment with so many fraud and rip off stories. After checking the reviews on this site I decided to give them a shot. Absolutely went better than expected. Professional service, knowledgeable, and no up-selling or gothcha's. I will be a lifelong customer. I had a tune up performed that required extra R-22 and he even checked the inside at my request (he even took off his shoes). I can't say enough how happy I am with this service.
