Description of Work: I had a small leak near the chimney. The maintenance package included caulking around vent openings, etc. I asked them to look around the chimney and they also caulked some loose shingles. Next time it rained, roof leaked again. They sent a roofer out who found some split shingles at the roof peak and repaired that. Next time it rained, roof leaked. They sent the roofer back out - in the rain -and he climbed up on the roof, looked around, and determined that there were nail holes through the shingles. He thought it was from painters nailing supports to the roof to brace their ladders while they painted the chimney and not caulking the holes when they finished. They came back out and replaced a bunch of shingles. The next time it rained, the roof leaked. They sent a crew out, tore off about 40 sq feet of shingles and found that the roof deck was rotted out in several places. They cut out the bad sections of the roof and replaced them, then re-shingled to blend into the rest of the roof. No more leaking. | |I was impressed with the perseverance and professionalism Palafox displayed as we worked through the issue to get to the ultimate problem.

Description of Work: $349 for a New Ceramic Tile Floor Including Labor and Materials - This is the banner that caught my attention. I read the small print on the offer and knew that my kitchen floor had more sq.footage than was offered, and understood that there would be an extra cost. The footage offered in the coupon is so small - hardly enough for half of most kitchens. When you consider $349 for a 4x10 space that's not so enticing. The guy from Palafox was great and he tried to give me the best deal he could but their cost was still wayyy too high. Hopes were dashed on this one.

David the owner and Eddie are always professional, answer their phones and any questions we might have had during the process. The backyard patio cover was an added beauty and has made the backyard our own piece of paradise with its design. It is a joy to look out back and enjoy how everything looks. Would use this company again, for any project, in a heart beat!!

+ 0 moreWell I had already chozen a contractor with the 3 bids i had. Then i had a friend call me with a contractor that she used for a insurace claim reroof. I was a little skeptical on using a roofer for a bathroom remodel, but the salesman assured me that his company specialized in all type of contruction. So I gave them a try cause he attends my church and told him that I would be watching every step of the process. Again he had assured me that everything would run smooth. Low and behold the job was not only done well but, it was done earlier that projected. I have shown at least a dozen of my friends and Will be reconmending them for any future remodeling or roofing jobs.
Description of Work: it was a bathroom remodel for handicap exccess.

+ -1 moreWe would not use this provider, or recommend them. They used a medium grade of shingles on the roof. The carport/patio covers were ugly and leaked. Several attempts were made to stop the leaks that made the carport and patio look worse. After over a year of broken promises the carport and patio cover was replaced. David Palafox promised a professional job, which we did not get.. The covers are as ugly as before. Since we have not had a rain we don't know if they will leak.
Description of Work: Replaced the roof after the hail storm in 2011 and the carport/patio covers in fall of 2011..

+ 0 moreDavid's worker Ernesto arrived promptly. He lowered the gutter on one side, near the drainpipe, to prevent the other end from overflowing. In addition, he caulked areas of the roof which were susceptible to water seeping in due to the overflow issue. Overall the task was done in 30 minutes. During the rain later that day the gutter worked fine; no overflow issue. I was very pleased with the service, and would use Palafox roofing again.
