Jolly Plumbing

Jolly's Plumbing Company was referred by 2 of my neighbors and we all had to install new tankless water heaters because of the storm. Chester advised all three of us he would install water heaters that Monday. He called my neighbor and advised him hat he would not be able to do the installed that day. We all stated and agreed this was unacceptable because we all were without hot water for little over week. So everyone disputed the 1500.00 deposit. Each of us paid 1500.00deposit . My two neighbors each received there credit for the deposit. I have not received my credit yet and this dispute was initiated 3/1/2021. I paid with a debit card . They lied said it will be taken care within 10 days. I filed a dispute with Bank of American and they advised me Jolly's Plumbing has up to 45 days to issue credit. I am in my 60's, African American and Widowed. Everyone is experiencing hardships do to Covid. So this company has my 1500.00 and we are went with a plumbing company who service all three homes the next day. I had to pay another 2500.00. And I need my money to pay my bills. So I was in the negative for 3 weeks 2200.00 for every dam 35.00 charge that hit. I still have not received my money and they want answer my call. This is not acceptable. Due to Covid some people are treated differently and taken advantage and it should be okay.

Said they would be here between 4 and 6 on Tuesday. They did not show. They did call and came first thing the next morning and fixed our problem for half price. Very nice, very fast and efficient.

The plumbers went above and beyond to install a shower cartridge and pressure regulator near the water meter. They took their shoes off when they came into the house. They went out and got extra parts and did not charge anything extra for the amount of time that it took. I appreciated that. Unfortunately, they turned off the valve for my sprinklers in the process, moved the valve box, then buried the sprinkler valve! I only found out because, within about a month, everything in my yard started dying. So, here I am a few weeks later with a lot of dead landscaping and I am out $85 after having a lawn sprinkler technician assess the problem, dig up the valve, and turn it back on for me. He was pretty baffled, too. So, they did the work that I asked of them, but they left me with a dead yard and more work to do. Not to mention all of the landscaping costs that have gone down the tubes. When I contacted Jolly Plumbing before posting this review, they apologized, did not offer to reimburse (at the very least) what I paid for the sprinkler technician, and then said the $600 worth of landscaping that I had put in was "your responsibility to maintain." Now I am no customer service expert, but I doubt that telling the customer about his home responsibilities is in the customer service handbook. Don't bother with these guys. There are certainly better plumbers out there.
