A "tune-up" was done on the units and it was determined the line was clogged and that a new capacitor was required. The line was unclogged and the capacitor was replaced. My wife understood the pricing to be $79 for the tune up and then the cost to replace the capacitor. Ended up being $79 per unit, plus a cost to replace the capacitor, and an extremely high cost to unclog the pipe (drip line). You would think paying $79 for a tune up for each system covered unclogging any drain pipes or simple maintenance items like that. This exact service was completed in August 2015 for 1/3 of the price. Wish we had found that companies contact information before calling this service provider. My wife was also pressured into a service plan that added an additional $40, but we were told we got 15% off with that package. We paid that 15% with the $40 extra we paid. I was able to cancel that package. I rated quality above as N/A, because we will have to see if we have any issues with the work that was completed today in the future.

Called JAK services because a rental had issues with a light socket. David showed up promptly, determined it was a faulty breaker, said he didn't have it on the truck, would have to order it and come back, said it might be "a couple hundred dollars" never gave me a written estimate, never had me sign an estimate, and was vague on pricing. Several hours later, one of his techs showed up with the wrong part, and had to go get the right breaker (I told them there was one at LOWE's, because I had gone there myself for another project and saw it there for $45.) So I sat outside the rental for a half hour more waiting. Finally the tech came back and installed the breaker in 10 mins. Still didn't give me an estimate, said the office would bill me. Then I get the bill, $264 to switch out a breaker which cost $45 at Lowes. I asked them if they would accept $200, and they refused. Total service time from when they initially showed up, about 4-5 hours. This is the 2nd time I've used them, and although their diagnostic work and professionalism are both great, their pricing is too high for me going forward. Get a written estimate prior to having services performed. This should be standard practice. I don't buy that an electrical contractor doesn't know in advance how much a breaker for a track home built in the last 15 years costs.

I have used JAK services multiple times over the years and it has always been great. Recently, I had significant hail damage and the insurance company provided replacement cost. Since I was using a General Contractor, they first arranged for "another" HVAC company to do the work. After getting the quotes, they just seemed so high for just a 14 seer condensing unit and a new coil. I told my GC, that I had a relationship with JAK and wanted a second opinion. David came out promptly and gave me a price which was cheaper and better. I got a whole new 16 seers inside and outside for less than just an outside unit and coil. If you want fair prices, great customer service, and a business you can trust and depend on, then reach out to JAK.

Very professional consultation and installation. I had both systems replaced last fall 10/2015. My Texas summer electric bills have gone down on average over $100 per month. This is approximately a 30% reduction in my electric bills. I recommend JAK services for all you A/C needs. They were prompt, professional, and install good top quality equipment.

Same day service on the day I called. Electrician arrived when he said he would. Very friendly and professional. Did the service with quality and speed. I would definitely use them again.

He gives excellent service. He's just a man of character, he does what he says hes going to do and you can really rely on him. I like that his company is excellent and he stands by his word.

The owner came himself to service my unit. They called prior to appointment telling me they were on their way and showed up on time. This was great that I didn't have a window of 4 hours that I had to sit and wait for service tech. They scheldueded me for a specific time and were on time. They did a thorough checkup on all parts of my 2 AC units and were very professional how they went about it. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and will definately be calling them again as I have AC or Heating needs.

JAK Services completed the work on time and were very easy to work with and able to answer all questions we asked. I have used JAK before and will use them again for future A/C needs.

We just had completely new HVAC systems installed in our home by JAK services. David and his crew were courteous, and considerate the entire time and cleaned up after themselves once the process was complete. You would never have even known they were there if it weren't for the fact that our house was warm and toasty for the first time thanks to the new furnaces! His prices were significantly lower than the larger companies in the area, and were very, very competitive against similar companies that held his appointment as an American Standard Customer Care Dealer. I received about 7 or 8 quotes for systems and none of his competitors took the time to go over things as in depth with me as David did. I probably called him 10 times a day with different questions over the 2 days that we got our quotes and made our decision and he always picked up his phone with a friendly hello and answered all questions I had without getting frustrated with me, even if I called outside of regular business hours so that my husband could talk to David as well. That is more than I ever could have asked for! David truly earned our business and we could not have been more thrilled with the installation job he did for us yesterday! All of our heating and cooling issues have been fixed thanks to the changes he made throughout our home. I seriously cannot say enough great things about JAK services. They are the ones to choose for your HVAC needs here in DFW, without a doubt!

We recently moved into a temporary home after our home was struck by lightening and burned. The AC went out on a Saturday (during August in Texas) and I made frantic contacts on Saturday to get some help. JAK LLC owner made an appointment and got to our temp house and fix the problem right away. I am very thankful for his help and dedication to come and help us out late Saturday.

Our heat had stopped working. We called JAK Services out. David Horton the owner discovered a tripped breaker due to the system being put on Emergency Heat by an employee. This was not necessary and it tripped the breaker. He reset the breaker and checked the rest of the system for proper operation.
