I called G.W. Roofing to get an estimate and spoke to the owner, Gene Wilson. Mr. Wilson was very nice to deal with and understood that I wanted an estimate on everything, including possible repairs that might be needed. He did his best to include all possible charges, including re-decking the roof, not knowing if it would be necessary. He included the 10% discount for being an Angie's LIst member in his estimate and said this price would be based on a cash payment and that he would have to add 2% if a credit card was used. He was very thorough in answering my questions, especially considering my lack of knowledge in his field, and helped me to understand the different things that could come up during the job. I appreciated not having to worry about surprises. We were hoping the house wouldn't have to be re-decked, but after removing the old shingles, the wood underneath had cracked and rotted and had to be replaced. Mr. Wilson took several pictures of the decking to show us the damage. Mr. Wilson was honest from the beginning; told me that the job would be done in one day and that they would clean up after installation and they did. They were very prompt; 8 installers arrived at 7am sharp. I would definitely recommend G.W. Roofing as a great roofing company and appreciate their honesty and courtesy!

Gene is a very friendly and professional man. His son came to our house to complete the estimate after a large hail storm. We decided to wait until the fall to complete the work. GW Roofing completed the work quickly and as expected. The crew forgot to replace the gutters, but returned that evening to complete the work.
