I used this company to maintain my lawn while my lawnmower was in the shop. They did a good job and the price was reasonable.

This company was recommended by a friend. She is also very pleased with them. The workers are professional and timely. The company boss communicates by both phone and email, and responds quickly to messages. The yard cleanup and trimming is good. The guys are not very experienced, but they are eager and will do exactly what you tell them. They also learn from experience and they constantly keep themselves busy while they are on the clock. I'm very impressed with them.

I looked on Angie's list at a couple of possible lawn companies after the door hangers failed. I saw Grass King, checked out their website and then called. Much to my surprise, someone actually answered the phone. They took my name and email address and said that Kris would be out on Friday or Monday to get me a quote and would send an email. By Tuesday, I sent an email as I had not heard anything. I got a quick response with an apology and the original email they had sent with the quote. Kris had been out on Friday, but a typo in the email had caused it to bounce. I thought the quote for the weekly yard work was fair and also the quote for the extra work I requested. I asked when they could start as my yard was in need of mowing. Kris responded they could start 2 days later as it was the normal service day for my area. He did say they may not get all the flower bed work done in 1 week. I told him I understood and they could spread out the extra work over several weekly visits if necessary. I came home on the afternoon 2 days later and the yard was done as promised. They did a good jot overall. There were a couple places you could tell someone not familiar with the yard had cut as there are a few weird cut spots. However, it was nothing I had not done myself as points in the past. It should be noted that there is a coupon on Angie's list for 50% off the first lawn maintenance. I did not mentioned the coupon to Kris (as I actually forgot). However, when I filled out the billing paperwork, it ask how I had heard about Grass King. I said it was on Angies list. Kris sent me an email and told me they received the billing paperwork and that I would get the 50% coupon applied to my first service even though I never mentioned the coupon. That just goes along way in showing Grass King runs a class business and cares about their reputation. Overall, I am very pleased with the work and my communication with Grass King. I will update this review later in the year if there is anything that happens to change my opinion about Grass King.

I've used Grass King for about a year for lawn service. They have always been prompt and done a great job. When I found out that they did fencing, Kris came out and gave me an estimate to replace the back portion of the fence. They arrived as scheduled and did a great job. I'd highly recommend them for both fencing and yard work.

We love them! We have a very particular taste about how we want our yard to look and the owner really listened to us and communicated that to his workers. They do a great job!

I found him 4yrs ago here on Angie’s List, he’s been doing my yard work ever since. He and his crew take care of everything, mow, spring/fall cleanup, landscaping and fencing, you name it they do it all!! And a really good job!!

Kris and his crew are great. The crew was at our home when promised. They did a great job on the lawn and even took care of the leaves on our patio. We've used this company before and have always received the same wonderful service.

Last spring, 2012, my husband and I started looking for a new lawn service because our old one would not show when promised and if they did show up there were always spots missed either by mowing or weeding. There were several times my husband had to pull out the lawn mower and weeder to go over what they missed. Because of this we took several bids and decided to go with Grass King and I am so glad we did. Their prices are reasonable, the quality of their service is excellent and each member of their team is always professional. Last fall we requested they come to clean our flower beds. They were there when they said they would and did an excellent job getting our flower bed looking good again. I highly recommend their services.

They have been my lawn people since October of 2011. They charge $37 every two weeks. They are very good. We are first time home-owners, and we have a lot of questions about how to take care of a lawn or what not. He has always been very good to respond to my calls or e-mails. The billing on line is nice. He does not take care of my shrubs and flowers, but if I had any questions about them, he always answers my questions whether it is just about the grass or not. Their crew is fast and efficient. They gave me a good price at the time. They are very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional.

Poor!Worse lawn service EVER! If you want to pay for horrible service just use this guy! He will not do what is expected not does he follow up on his employees. They came to mow and didn't do the back lawn and when I emailed him he said he couldn't say for sure if it happened or not but would have to charge me for another visit! Get real! Update 03/12/13: Awful!

I was told that they didn't service my area but clearly on the service area provided on the angies list web page shows my city North Richland Hills. It also took three days for them to contact me so I feel like the company wasn't being honest with me.

The owner is always responsive; I usually communicate with him through e-mail and always get an e-mail back within a couple of hours. Their service is always great. They do a good job of the yard. The guy is always friendly. They are very, very reliable, and we have never had an issue with them since we have used them.

I pay them every two weeks. That will change because the lawn stops growing here apparently in the middle of November so at that time they don't come and don't start coming again until spring. I like it that I can pay my bill online. The guy is very kind and helpful on the phone although I haven't actually gotten to meet him. He sends a crew around to do the actual yard work. I have talked to him on the phone a couple of times and emailed him a couple of times. He is very kind and very knowledgeable especially to someone like me who hasn't had a lawn before. I don't know what I am doing. I would recommend him to a family member or a friend. He wasn't the cheapest. There were other things that went into my decision, not just the bottom line. As far as price, he wasn't the cheapest but he was very competitive. His quality was excellent. He will be mine as long as we live here. We move a lot though.

I've been using Grass King to cut my lawn (cut, edge, clean up) for about 4 years and have been very happy with the service. I also have Grass King trim the hedges and clean out flower beds when needed. The crews are timely, efficient, and neat, and Kris is very easy to work with. The billing is always accurate, and you can select to receive the bill via mail or email. I highly recommend Grass King.
