We got three quotes from different companies for outdoor aluminum shutters for our covered patio and it turned out that one of them was the manufacturer….there is only one manufacturer in the area. Aaron matched their price and ensured that they were installed with care and quality. He was very responsive when we had questions and kept us updated on the timeline of the ordering.

Very satisfied. They were very helpful in selecting the right product for my home. If they were going to be late arriving, I received a phone call to let me know. They answered all of my questions and were very professional.

They were supposed to bring me replacement blinds since they couldn't fix the ones that I have, and that was a month ago. I've not heard from them.

A first class experience all around. David came out to do the estimate the day after I called him, and the installer came out and installed everything only a couple days after the blinds came in. I smile every time I go into the 2 rooms, because they look so nice and work great!!

They did an awesome job. They do beautiful stuff and they use all types of materials which is great. We did like our plantation shutters. They said, "No house is exactly square. They're completely Texas, you give us your paint samples, you tell us exactly which paint I'm going to use and what sample number is, and we'll make your blinds to measure exactly as Texas materials is going to have your right paint on it and they're all set." They were a little bit more expensive but the blinds were perfect. They exactly matched our woodwork because I've given the paint samples and the paint sample numbers, and they were amazing. They matched everything in the house and they fit. They didn't like have any problem with our woodwork, they were exactly the right color and they were awesome. We just had to replace some other blinds which were mini blinds that were outdated and ugly. They also replaced those. They came in, they measured, they were done, and they were perfect. They showed up on time. When they said they were going to be there, they were there.

I completed an online request for an estimate using my approximate measurements and received a response in less than 48 hours. The quoted price was less than others I'd received so I decided to give them a try. David worked with me from start to finish - helping me pick a quality product that complemented my planned decor, storing the blinds for me when construction delays complicated our closing date and squeezing us into their installation schedule so we could have the blinds installed before we moved in. His professionalism and patience helped make the stressful process of moving to a new home much less so!

Haven't had time to have them come out to measure however the telephone contact was very professional and met my initial expections.

Everything was done exactly as was explained and the blinds look great. We had one small problem with the blinds on a couple of back doors. We did not realize the issue until after the blinds were installed, but Blinds Brothers came back and fixed the problem perfectly and they worked us into their schedule even during the holidays.

We called and picked what we wanted a mix of both. David had told us the shutters would take longer to get in stock but we were fine with waiting. The blinds came in earlier than expected and the installation was smooth and very professional. As soon as the shutters came in David called us and we set an install date. Again the install was professional and the workmen were nice and professional. After the install David called to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, and it was! Great experience, no pressure to buy and very professional.

David the salesman was very professional and personable. Products were no doubt good quility but my situation does not call for such high quality and the price was too high for my budget.

David came out and gave us an estimate on blinds for our entire home. It was a new house and we were trying to cover every window as economically as possible. He was right on time and very friendly and personable. David brought me many samples to choose from and gave some recommendations on brands, etc; but was never pushy or high pressure. The blinds came in on time as promised and David was very good about keeping us posted as to the status of our order. We purchased some wood and some faux wood blinds. They were installed quickly and there were absolutely no problems whatsoever. Very happy with Blinds Brothers service and quality of product. Would highly recommend!! :)

I called the number listed on Angie's list and spoke to David, from Blinds Brothers. He came out about a week later to measure and give us an estimate. He gave us the choice between real wood and faux, and explained the pros/cons of both. He didn't push the most expensive one on us. I also got an estimate from another highly rated company on here, which came in lower than Binds Brothers, but David worked on getting their estimate down some. In the end, it was still slightly more expensive than the other company, but we felt that David seemed more responsive and knowledgeable about his product. A couple weeks after we ordered the blinds, they came and installed them. The blinds look great. We would definitely use this company again if we needed blinds elsewhere.

David Sorrels came for our free home consultation. He was so helpful, and spent a good deal of time with us showing us examples of the different types of window treatments, and all the options with each. After having another vendor give us a similar consultation, we decided to go with Blind Brothers, and to purchase faux wood blinds throughout. In less than 2 weeks, our blinds were ready! Roger came and installed our blinds, and was very professional. He arrived punctually, and had all the blinds installed in less than 2 hours. David promptly followed up the next day. All in all, this was a great experience, and I would definitely use Blind Brothers again and recommend them to all my friends.

I wanted Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades for several rooms in my house. The owner, David Sorrells, responded promptly to my call & discussed my needs for about 30-40 minutes on the phone. I appreciated that he recommended a lower cost Hunter Douglas product that was the same quality and stlll met my requirements. He later came over to show me the samples, measure the windows and give me an estimate. Mr. Sorrells really knows his business: he was well versed in his products and their specifications and was easily able to make recommendations. His estimate was clear and he communicated the details of the ordering, installation, and payment processes quite well. The shades arrived earlier than expected and his installer came out the next day. The new shades look great and fit perfectly. I will definitely have Blinds Brothers back when I'm ready for more window treatments.

I was very surprised to learn that my other reviews for Blinds Brothers didn't show up..I have used Blinds Brothers for all my window coverings since moving here ten years ago. David Sorrells was very helpful in my decision on the window treatments for my home. I decided on woven wood blinds for the kitchen and the family room. . Loved them so much I later decided to put the same thing in the office. The office and the guest bedroom was the last rooms I did. I love, love, the plantation shutters I put in the guest bedroom. David Sorrells comes out himself with tons of samples and measures. Roger installs the window coverings. Both are very nice, honest, and dependable..I wouldn't think of using anyone else for my window treatments. Call David at Blinds Brothers, he's got you covered. You will be glad you did.

The rep was very knowledgable but product was either too pricey or long ship date.

Received a few estimates and although Blinds Brothers was not the lowest cost, we were very happy with the quality of the products and the service provided! I would use them again!

After initial contact, they called me back very quickly and explained that they didn't do the type of work I needed. They referred me to people who were experts in the repairs I needed. I contacted the other group and they completed my repair.

We had three companies in, interviewed them and asked what products they would propose. We selected Blinds Brothers because they had a great selection of product and were able to meet our objective of getting everything within six weeks when most of the other companies could not do so. The blinds were pretty ordinary and ready within a few weeks. Their installer did a great job, cleaning up nicely and leaving everything tidy. The Plantation shutters were not ordinary. The location was a problem because of the need to match the trim and the fact that the windows weren't square. The vendor that Blinds Brothers suggested is located in Texas and was able to make the shutters to fit the not-so-square windows. Even better, the vendor was able to take the paint that had originally been used in the rooms and finish the new shutters to match. The vendors that had the made-in-China blinds would have taken an extra inch on both sides of the window for shims to conceal the difference. They also didn't offer the opportunity to have the paint matched. The price difference between the vendors was trivial -- less than 10%. When the shutters came (and they did come in time), they were everything we hoped for and more. They fit the windows perfectly, the color was exact and they look like a million bucks!
