Jim & his crew did an amazing job on my house from the first meeting to the end. All this while Jim was suffering with terrible eye problems. We contacted Jim with Texas Select Builders to repair our home after water damage. Jim and his team were extremely courteous, professional and accommodating to our requests and needs for a few upgrades we decided to do along with the repair work. The most challenging was replacing outdoor thresholds with ADA thresholds. They were able to retrofit the existing thresholds to accommodate a wheelchair. Their work was impeccable as well as their ethics and professionalism.

Jim and his team are exceptional. We had them install a wall with french doors and wood beams in our living area. They are prompt, professional and worked with us every step of the way. One thing we learned was that if you do not know exactly what you want, Jim is a great resource to ask. His years of experience allowed him to help us with our paint selection.

We used Texas Select Builders to prepare our house for sale. Full interior painting, tile repair, new tile features, shower repair, caulking, interior wall repair, installation of carpet, doorbell, smoke alarms, exterior wood repair, and more - all top notch work. Jim and his crews were personable, professional, and kept us informed at every step. They made this process stress free for us. Would highly recommend Jim and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Jim and his team are excellent, both as craftsmen and people. Jim is totally committed to quality and on-time performance. He also offered very creative ideas for our project which consisted of new flooring in the LR and DR and completely redoing the bathroom. We took the bathroom all the way to bare walls and installed every thing new. The finishing touches are going on today. Jim is a pleasure to work with and is tireless in his devotion to getting it done right and within budget. He wants a project we all can be proud of.

We had severe water damage to our home from a faulty water heater hose that ruptured while we were out of town. Jim started the project over the Christmas Holiday and completed it as scheduled. They quality of work was amazing and we were more than satisfied. Dealing with our insurance company was a nightmare due to the amount of forms and paperwork needed from the contractor, but Jim completed the needed paperwork promptly. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing home repair!!

It's hard to believe it's the same place. We love the work Jim did on our bathrooms. The final result was as good as we could hoped for. Jim is a great guy. He walked us through the whole process from start to finish and offered great suggestions. He has an outstanding eye for design and attention to detail. He and his crew were professional. They came on time, did their best to keep us informed of what was being done throughout the project and allowed for the house to remain functional despite working on several rooms at the same time. Jim wasn't the cheapest, but wasn't the most expensive, when we called around for prices, but the quality of work was worth the cost. I would, and have, recommended Jim and would not hesitate to use him on future projects.

Jim was a pleasure to work and is very personable. I had never worked with a GC before and had reservations about doing so but Jim alleviated my concerns soon after my project started. He stays on top of things and kept me informed all along the way. I would have no reservations using him again and would highly recommend him.

Jim's company completed a major kitchen remodel, a powder room and upstairs bathroom. We were very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work. Jim was very dedicated to giving this project his personal attention and he was extremely responsive to our needs. The quality of his sub contractors, especially floor and granite installers, plumbing, electrical and painting was very high. We had some problems with quality and timeliness of the first carpenter, and Jim brought another one in the finish the job as needed. Jim did this at his expense. We would not hesitate to have Jim work with us again, or to recommend him highly.

Jim was great to work with. We needed a shower that had previously had a leak in it redone. Jim made some great recommendations of ways that we could improve the shower to provide more functionality and to better prevent future leaks. He also added in some canned LED lighting in the bathroom for us that really makes a huge difference in the way that the area looks. The shower stall required some reframing due to the water leak, some plumbing modifications for the new faucet fixtures, a refloat of the concrete for the pan and installation of the rubber pan, installation of the wallboard, and all of the prep work for the install of the marble and granite walls. Lastly, Jim added an air vent into the bathroom for us to help alleviate some of the humidity. Jim was timely and completed this work as unobtrusively as possible. He was excellent to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone for any type of remodel work that you might be looking to get completed. Jim will give you honest feedback on the things that need to be fixed as well as point out areas for improvement, but not pressure you into doing anything that you don't want to do.

The completed job exceeded our expectations. Texas Select was efficient, courteous and worked late in the evening and over the weekend to complete the task. The finished product was outstanding with additional outlets & switches, recessed lighting, a new ceiling fan with light kit and painting, sealing and trim work to complete job in a professional manner. I would recommend this company, without reservation.

We spoke with Jim about the insufficient lighting and less than desirable air flow in our kitchen. After discussing several options, we asked him to install can lights with dimmer switches and a ceiling fan with a wall mounted switch and speed control. The project made a tremendous difference in our kitchen. We wondered why we waited so long to get it done! Jim did a great job and we are well pleased.

We can't say enough wonderful things about Jim and his work! We have recommended him to everyone interested in remodeling their home. Our master bathroom was small, and outdated with a 3x3 shower. After meeting with Jim about what we wanted to do with our bathroom, we felt confident we had picked the right company for the job. He looked over the bathroom, listened to what we wanted to do, and within just a couple of days gave us three options for how we could improve our existing space and make it more efficient without going over our budget. We could tell Texas Select Builders takes their time looking over every detail and won't leave the job done without perfection. We absolutely LOVE our new bathroom! It has changed the whole feel of home. We also had our guest room updated with new granite countertops, honeycomb tile, painted cabinets and walls, new sink and faucets installed and new light fixtures and mirror. I can't tell you what a difference it has made to our guest bath! We will use this company again and again for any other updates or remodeling projects.
