Work was done quickly and professionally. Very pleased

Ron was very responsive and professional and provided a detailed estimate of the job. I asked several other companies for quotes. He has been busy lately and gave me an estimate of time availability for the job( was 4-6 weeks). When that time came, he was able to do the job a little earlier than anticipated. I decided to wait be of his professionalism and pricing, which was very competitive and overall fair. He has an employed team and they did a good job and left no mess. I am happy with the quality of the work. My only other comment would be is that if you decide to make changes to the job during the process ask for the estimate changes up front as he works with a 'foreman' partner who didn't always keep me up to speed as I would have liked. But Ron was accommodating and very nice about the whole process and if you have any issues just email,txt or call him and he will sort it out.

Ron did an excellent job. It was easy to schedule, although I had to wait as he is busy. Very professional and Ron knows what he is doing. His workers were diligent and skilled. Cost was reasonable. I had other quotes.

Ron's crew was excellent. They were professional, came on time, left on time, cleaned up my backyard which was a complete mess from the winter freeze. I had many quotes but choose Ron based on his reviews and very competitive quote. I would and will use his company again. Just an overall great experience. They eased our concerns on what we would need to fix certain things on the bed design and came through with flying colors!!

Steven's Landscaping built a new paver patio over the old concrete patio, 4' walk and 2 dirt areas, making it a 12'x12' patio right against the house and added a walk to the gate. They built a cedar pergola with an architectural metal roof to shade the patio. It's very well built and beautiful. They protected the grass while they were working, used the sod and top soil they excavated to fill in a low spot in the yard, and cleaned up very well when they were done. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work or the price.

He did a great job! He did a really clean job. He came on time and did everything to my satisfactory. I have absolutely no problem with him!

They came out and did the work and did a great job with great workers. The grassed died maybe because we were having a very hot seasonal time. They returned and replaced the grass and again did a great job at no charge. It seems to be doing well. This is the 2nd time I have used their services.

The job went perfectly! Ron came out and we explained to him what we wanted and the flooding problem with our current flooring. As soon as he started speaking we knew right away he knew his business very well and we would be in good hands contracting him. He measured and gave us a couple of places we could visit to choose our new flooring. He emailed us a quote, we chose travertine tiles and he gave us a time frame in which they would come out to install it. He sent a crew to do the work. They were very professional, hard working and courteous. Alfie directed the crew and was an excellent communicator. They completed the work on schedule and we are delighted with our new travertine patio that doesn't flood. We are extremely happy to have found Stevens Landscape on Angie's list because the entire process was very smooth, Ron and Alfie were so easy to work with, and the new patio looks fantastic! They were great! They did many things we expect a business to do, but often don't see. I originally called another company who told me to text them some pictures of the area and they would send me a quote. I was not comfortable with that approach, so I call Ron Stevens. Ron came to the house, looked at the area, and offered some ideas. He then gave me a quote with some options. I emailed some questions and he got back to me right away. We agreed on an option, a price, and a timeframe. Ron told me when the crew would arrive and they showed up right on time. The crew leader offered up some no cost suggestions. He seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. The crew worked hard to finish the job, and cleaned everything when finished. They did a great job and we were very happy with the result. I know it sounds like every job should go like this, but it doesn't always happen. We were happy with the result and would definitely call Ron Stevens Landscaping again, and recommend them to others.

Back patio, pool deck, and backyard landscaping came out great(see photo). I am very happy with the backyard. Ron was good to work with and he addressed issues as they came up. For example, patio drains installed by another contractor ended up on the slope of the patio, instead of at the low points. Ron reinstalled pavers after drainage contractor moved the drains to the low spots. No problem. I give Stevens Landscape Services an "A" grade for all the work in my backyard(patio, pool deck, and landscaping). The front sidewalk did not come out as good as my back patio and pool deck. There are numerous gaps up to a 1/2 inch wide between many of the pavers along the length of the sidewalk. See photo. Ron was very helpful in trying to fix it, however it is still looks very substandard. The distance between the fixed concrete edges of the sidewalk is just too wide for the existing pavers to fit between them without leaving these wide gaps. This may be related to the fact that the sidewalk was redone twice to fix other issues. First time to fix a large depression in sidewalk and second time to redo a large section of the sidewalk that was one inch narrower than the rest of the sidewalk after the depression was fixed. I give Stevens Landscape Services a "D" grade for my front sidewalk. Also, attached is a photo of the concrete slab that they poured, which mates my sidewalk to the city sidewalk.

Stevens landscaping was punctual, always kept me updated on what they would do each day and did what they said they would do. The patio is beautiful! I couldn't be happier. I would absolutely use this business again.

Owner came to take stock of our overgrown back yard and made very helpful suggestions. He usually does much larger jobs (like big patios and the like) but was happy to help us. Crew was courteous and friendly and cleaned up completely. They were a day late because of an equipment failure at another work site. We thought they'd have to delay a week around their schedule as a result, but they somehow made it the next day. No complaints! We'll be calling Mr. Stevens again the next time we need landscaping done.

Crew showed up on time, did the work efficiently and neatly. Hauled away all the old plants, laid a nice rock border. Bed is now neat and bare, ready for us to do whatever we want with it.

I contacted Ron to do a small front yard lnadscape update for me. Within a week, he came out and drew up a plan with the quote. I was looking for something low maintenance but pleasant. Because of rain and their schedule, the project was delayed awhile, but Ron was prompt in responding to my questions and the timetable whether via text or phone. The job was completed in a day and looked great! Almost a month later, I had ossues with 3 of the plants dying and Ron was helpful in resolving the issue. I really appreciated the service they provided and would recommend the services. If needed again, I would go back. Thanks so much!

Mr. Stevens was very professional and responsive. He came out and surveyed the area and then provided me with a fair quote. We decided to wait to do the work but will call him in the future.

We had an appointment scheduled for 2:30 and the provider arrived while I was at work. He had left a message and then called me back saying that he had been calling and waiting at my house for 30 minutes. It seemed like he was inconvenienced when I would not have scheduled an appointment during my work hours. I felt like his other appointment was more important than mine so I canceled the service. His tone during the call was unprofessional.

Did work, at no additional charge, that was outside of agreed scope of work because it made the job more appealing. Very high customer satisfaction.

They were exceptional! The overall service and care they have for their work and projects goes beyond what anyone would expect. As a female homeowner with little knowledge in respect to home repairs/mechanics, I am certain that in the past I have been overcharged and/or received substandard work. However, Angie's List and Stevens Landscaping changed that experience for me. When I first spoke with Ron, he took the time to actually talk and listen and even though his schedule was full, he managed to come by within a couple of days to give me an estimate. The work was done a few weeks later. They had several people come out and they finished the entire job that day. They also made a point to make sure everything was cleaned up before they left. While they were working, I just happened to be in the garage attempting to install a shelf with toggle bolts- my first experience using these (I may be a great physician-but not handy around the house). The guy from Stevens that was in charge of the work, Alfie, noticed the numerous holes I had put in the garage wall with my unsuccessful use of the toggle bolts. He stopped what he was doing and actually installed the shelf for me in less than 5min. Who goes out of their way to help people like this anymore- Stevens Landscaping.

Ron was very timely in setting up a visit with me to look at what I wanted. It took us a while to decide to do it but when I called and said we were ready he was very quick in setting up the time for his men to do the work. He directed me to a stone yard to pick out what I wanted. When I let him know they went and picked it up and brought it to the house. One of the men had a death in the family and so it took a little longer than expected but I was not in a hurry. They came back the next week and finished it all that day. The workers were very courteous and did exactly what I asked. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves as well! I would use them again!

To no fault of his, we decided not to take any action because we were traveling a lot on business and could not determine a reasonable schedule. I would still recommend him.
