We wanted to cover the patch (described above). Ron Stevens had some great ideas and we chose one. Ron promised to fit me into his schedule for the 1 1/2 days it would take. He sent us to the nearby stone company to look at the flagstone he recommended and also view some of his work which was amazing. After two weeks, he came out as promised. His crew cut out the shape we had marked on the concrete, then began to dismantle the area with sledge hammers. Because our concrete was so thick, it took them the whole day. The next day, they finished the debris removal and poured concrete to create a smooth, flat surface on which the flagstone would be laid. That night, we found that the heavy pounding had created some surface cracks in the existing "cool deck" finish that had been incorrectly applied when the pool was built. The next morning, Ron was there to inspect the job. He spent about one hour with us, measuring and brainstorming, until we found a solution we all could agree on. The crew did the extra cutting and clearing it required, then laid the flagstone. They performed a thorough cleaning and cleared out. The total job took 2 1/2 days.. Now, here's the part a consumer really wants to know about. Ron Stevens is a man of his word. He squeezed my small job into his busy schedule. Even when the job took longer than he had anticipated, he made it very clear that the disruption to his schedule would in no way compromise the thoroughness and craftsmanship that MY job demanded. He was there every day and when he left, I always knew who was left in charge in case I had any questions or concerns. His crew was cheerful, professional and careful. Every day, they cleared the area they were working on and left as little behind as possible. Ron had them fix some cracked joints around my pool coping. When the job was completed, they took everything with them and hosed down my deck and driveway. They treated me with respect, answered my questions and even heeded my suggestions. The final outcome of this project exceeded our expectations. The flagstone Ron suggested matches the existing pool coping. The final effect is that this "focal point" was part of the original pool/deck design. My husband told me today that everyday he sees the deck, he is so happy with the results. Perhaps the most incredible part of all is this: even though the construction of our existing pool deck caused so many problems that forced his crew to spend longer on our project, Ron only charged us the original estimate amount. No payment was required until the job was completed. I would recommend Ron to anyone looking for stonework. And even though that was all he did for us, I would recommend him for all your landscaping needs as well--I am sure he would bring integrity and excellence to ANY job his company did for you.

Ron Stevens was very helpful and punctual. He did the job before we intended to do it, but we were okay with that. They finished the work in 2 days. The only issue is that they started with the larger stones in the middle and misjudged the amount a little and they started using smaller stones towards the door of the house. But, he had his workers come out to fix that. Overall they did a very good job.

Steven's Landscape Services always called to let me know what the status was. They have an excellent price and they did a very good job.

Ron was an absolute professional from start to finish. He surveyed our property, discussed the project at length to refine the scope-of-work and then provided us a written/emailed estimate of the entire project within the week. It took us a long time to actually schedule the job because of our family's schedule, travel, and budgeting. Ron was extremely patient and understanding. Throughout the execution of the work, Ron and his crew were punctual, proficient, very professional, efficient and attentive to detail. Everything looks awesome and my husband and I could not be more pleased with how great everything looks. We're so glad we decided to invest in this home-improvement project and even more grateful to have had a contractor as experienced, qualified and clearly customer-service-oriented as Ron Stevens. We will definitely be calling him again for any future landscaping or hardscaping projects!

Ron came to the house promptly, met with my wife and me and discussed the scope of work involved. Ron had input and suggestions that enhanced the design and saved us money. We agreed on a price and duration and Ron and his crew started a day early, and with added scope, finished on time. He and his guys did a fantastic job. We would come home in the evening to a clean job site as his crew picked up each evening. I would not hesitate to use Stevens again.

Ron came over and helped us with layouts for everything. Once we finalized the plan, he was helpful with the submittal to our HOA as well. The project took about a week and a half. The crew was always on time and left no messes. Ron checked in daily with both the crew and us. They even helped us move the spa from the drive way into the arbor - which was not even in the job scope. Ron Stevens installed a beautiful slate tile on my patio slab. He was on target in every respect. I had also asked him for landscaping but since he was busy into May he recommended a firm to me. I used the firm he recommended and was completely pleased with their service. He did everything he said he would do and even managed to advance the schedule on my tile work. It was a small job for him but he gave it all the attention one would expect for a larger project.

Ron and his crew showed up early Monday morning and got to work. The were extremely courteous and cleaned up the front and back yard when they left for the evening. They completed three beds in the front, one in the back and over 400 square feet of patio by end of day Friday. We are so happy and have received numerous compliments.

He worked to make it look intentional. He voluntarily patched some grass with some sod. He is very polite and trustworthy. I would absolutely recommend him to others!

They used a lot of the the landscape I already had; they just rearranged it which saved on the final cost. They also came earlier than scheduled which was nice.

We worked together to construct the design and they were very personable. They had very good ideas and they were easy to work with.
