Description of Work: Completely took out all existing grass in front yard and shrubs from existing beds; replanted beds with new plants and greenery; leveled existing bed bordering stones and placed gravel under them to help with drainage and settling; mulched around trees and in beds; re-sodded front yard and tested sprinkler system.

Description of Work: We asked Steven Landscape Services to pull up old concrete in the backyard and lay paving for a patio and a walkway.

Description of Work: We had used Ron’s company to pave our small courtyard when we purchased the house in 2010 and had been extremely pleased with his work so called him out for a quote in April this year to look at the options for our back yard. Ron was very helpful and came up with a good design that would be durable and work for our requirements. (We wanted low maintenance and a low cost yard, the existing large deck area we had was rotten and future decking would continue to need annual treating or would be an expensive job to replace with the new composite decking.) Ron's work load was very full and he could not start our yard until end of July but we decided we would rather wait for Ron that use another contractor. Ron started work on the yard end of July as promised and brought a good size crew in to pull out all the old deck and level the area. Where the deck had been they laid a paved area and created steps up to the door. Ron created a flower bed around the large tree, edged all the flower beds with moss rock and turfed an area that was no longer covered by the old decking. At the front of the house all the flowerbeds were edged with moss rock. At the back of the house the old decking was removed and the area paved and moss rocks put along the boarders. A new fence was built around the ac units and a wooden box construction was built to hide the pipes and create a seat area. While the work was being carried out I decided I would like the holy bushes just cut back a bit, (yes I was that client that just decided it would be so much nicer if we could 'just" move the line of the bushes back two to three feet so we could then moss rock along the side of the new path from the small back yard area to the main back yard area.) It was no small extra task but Ron got it done, made it look great and did not charge any extra for the additional labour needed to complete this "could you just" extra task!

Description of Work: Did a good job overall. Small outdoor kitchen with two 8 ft counters with 2 grills and an 8 ft cantilevered 2 post arbor. Also did a paver patio. Was less expensive than others. Had to wait about 2 months. High quality work. Also was very helpful picking out stone, which worked out very well. One thing to realize - company does not provide turn-key service. Other than stone, pavers, and wood for arbor client needs to provide all other components of an outdoor kitchen. He also subcontracted an electrician for the electrical work, and that part of the job went ok. Job did take 2 days longer than expected (6 days instead of 4) because of congestion and heat at job site but was not a big deal.

Description of Work: Building an arbor, removing an existing cracked pea gravel patio, replacing with brick pavers, leveling existing flagstones around a fountain area, and adding moss stones to existing beds.

Description of Work: Excavated tree roots, leveled yard to improve drainage, added concrete patio extension with tiled surface and stone benches. Also added bullrock landscaping.

Description of Work: Full Landscaping including front,side and back yard. Prepared new landscaping beds with new plants and rock borders. Accented landscaping with large moss rock boulders. Installed disappearing fountain in backyard. New plants, including large ligustrum trees for accenting. Prepared side yard with landscaping rock and boulders. 8-1/2 tons of rock border material used. Installed Landscape lighting both front and back yard.

Description of Work: Our side yard was plain, grass only. With our designs, Ron tweaked them to create a now beautiful side yard for us. We had a stone pathway placed, flower beds (5) with rock borders, he transplanted some plants for us, as well as helped us select plants which were appropriate. He also moved a portion of our existing fence to creat a garden patch for us as well.

Description of Work: I had the front flower beds landscaped with new plants, mulch, and Oklahoma chop border put around the front and side beds. I also had an existing concrete block patio and sidewalk replaced with Cambridge Cobble pavers and the posts for the patio cover were covered with flagstone. New grass and sand was used to level and fill in parts of the yard.

Description of Work: They put down a new cobblestone walk way from the street to our porch. They expanded our front porch. They removed some plants that we had and covered it with cobblestone. They put down new sod in the back yard. They created some flower beds and vegetable gardens with moss rocks watering it. They gave us some advice on some plants. They got the plants for us and planted them. They put down a concrete path around one side of the house.

Description of Work: We replaced our entire pool deck, including the removal of the old peagravel deck,and did some additional landscaping. Ron was always punctual and responsive. He worked with us to select pavers and made suggestions for landscaping including stones, mulch, chop rock, and design. Ron's crew was professional, polite, competent and hard working. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend Stevens Landscape Services.

Description of Work: They put in mulch and they leveled my backyard and planted it with sod.

Description of Work: We had 1100 sq. ft. of pavers installed plus 100 ft of seating wall and outdoor kitchen and fire ring. This included demoing the previous structure, excavating, leveling and installing the pavers. It also included pouring footers for the seating wall, stoop for the patio, and the outdoor kitchen. It included building the walls and accommodating the lighting we chose.

Description of Work: Redid front landscaping on house as well as clean up of landscaping in backyard. Did great work and honest guidance. Will use agian in the near future for another home.

Description of Work: The backyard was leveled, dead roots of a tree removed, patio redone with new pavers and the front yard was sodded.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced plants, bushes and trees that had been stricken with the drought in the front yard. Saved and recycled any plantings that could be saved. They also replaced sod and had pavers placed for a walkway. Placed new trees and and bushes in back yard with mulch.

Description of Work: Ron re-did both the front and back flower beds. He replaced a section of fence and fenced a dog run area. He also placed landscaping timbers and kiddie mulch in the yard where we'll place a swingset.
