Description of Work: Steve replaced the temperature sensor in my wall oven. I called Steve and told him the oven was showing a fault code that indicated a defective temperature sensor. Steve arrived about an hour later as promised with the part in hand. He warned that it might not be the temperature sensor and that it might be the circuit board in which case, the oven would not be repairable due to its age and lack of availability of a replacement circuit board. After removing the old temperature sensor, Steve and his assistant ran two continuity checks with two different meters and confirmed the temperature sensor was defective. Steve replaced the sensor and ran a check on the oven to ensure it was working properly. Will tis 22 year old oven hold up? Probably not for much longer but at least I bought a little more life for it for a reasonable price. Steve and his assistant arrived on time, were polite and professional, answered all of my questions and, charged a reasonable price for their service and parts.

+ -1 moreI called Steve and he returned my call in less than 15 minutes. He was able to go to my property within the hour and fixed it immediately. He was courteous, professional, and affordable. I also loved it that I was able to pay him immediately over the phone. His billing system then sent me an email receipt. Couldn't have gone smoother!
Description of Work: My tenant's dishwasher not draining. I knew it was a simple fix, but I wasn't able to get to the property for a few days.

He did initial diagnostic work as we spoke on the phone, which allowed him to acquire and bring the part (fan assembly) that we potentially needed. However, after reviewing the problem, Steve recommended that we NOT replace the component, and saved us $110. Steve is an effective troubleshooter, not just a parts mechanic. Very personable and responsive.
