+ -1 moreBasically as described above. Rick came at the job start to collect 50% in advance as listed to do per his bid. Each of the 4 steps listed above took a day, and then the crew recommended 2 more days before using the drive. I was very impressed with his 5 man crew who worked together very well, with friendly interaction, and each man able to do various jobs, thus their teamwork was impressive. The finishing took most of the third day with a nice satiny finish and approx. 3" smooth border around each section. I have no prior experience with this kind of work, but am very happy with how the job went and the final product.
Description of Work: My Homeowners Ass'n sent a letter for me to have my cracked driveway repaired. After having 3 contractors look at it, I found it would be better to replace it, and I decided to also have my cracked sidewalk from the drive to my door replaced. I decided to go with the lowest bidder, who also was recommended by the Homeowner Ass'n manager when I discussed it with her. The work consisted of: breaking up and removing the driveway and walk concrete, approx 485 sq. ft. on slight incline, leveling the underlying ground, installing form/framing boards, wood expansion joints and 3/8" rebar, pouring 3000 PSI concrete and finishing it to a light broom texture and removing the framing and other debris and re-setting our 2 x 6" garden edge boards on one side of the sidewalk.
