 + -1 moreSince the February freeze, my pool has been nothing but trouble. Thankfully, it was built by QRF Pool Service. Jim has been very helpful, quickly responding to texts and even answering phone calls which is remarkable in 2021. Chad, his right-hand man, has been equally stellar with his work, attention to detail, and maintenance tips. Thank you gents for getting us back on track!

 + 0 moreTerrible - Owner of company cashed check for install of some parts and did not show up for second appt to install remainder of parts. THEN? Got very mad when I called about the appointment and maliciously reached out to the real estate agent on the other side to inform them i was repairing the heater with parts bought on E-Bay. This is truth, no opinion. Opinion is I would NEVER use these shady operators again and would suggest you pull your rating as they probably behave this way with other unsuspecting pool owners.

 + -1 moreJim built my pool in 2013. He's been tremendously helpful and responsive since then. Whether it's an issue with a light, a broken skimmer part or replacing pumps or O rings when they wear out, he's a text away and always solves the problem quickly.

 + -1 moreI could not use my pool from July to September because the water was so warm. In the hot Houston climate it was miserable even in the water. Jim put a Glacier Chiller in for me and WOW what a difference! Everyone in my family noticed the cool temperature of the water as we were able to enjoy the pool during the hot 100 degree days! The Chiller is a lot less expensive than other options I considered. Jim at QRF did a fantastic job with the installation!!

They got the new light installed in less than a week from the time they had to drain the pool. Very courteous and professional we will definitely being using them again for our future projects.

 + -1 moreQRF Pool Service helped us get our pool up to the safety code when we bought our house. They also taught us how to maintain our pool. When we had some issues with a pump they came the same day and fixed the pump and got everything running again. Chad is very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the why and how of all pool maintenance. Would recommend to anyone with a pool!

 + -1 moreOur experience was absolutely great. We have a complicated set up with three pumps and numerous different run times, speeds etc and all was handled with ease. Quick repair on our in floor cleaning system. We live in Victoria and choose to use Pools Plus ORF repair service over local services. We also choose them to build our pool 2 years ago. Very pleased with all work done and the great after sale service. They know their products, how to service and repair them. No guess work.

 + -1 moreEverytime we have had to interact with Mr. Jim Burkhart and Pools Plus it has been a positive experience. I have been pleased with the promptness and kindness that has been shown to me. The company takes pride in its work and it shows!
Description of Work: We just went through the process of selling our home and the beautiful pool/spa that was built by Pools Plus and Mr. Jim Burkhart. In going through the inspection process of the new buyers I was worried that they may find something wrong with our pool that we didn't know about. However, it was quite the opposite. The independent inspector not only passed the pool/spa with flying colors but he pointed out that only the best of materials, equipment, and design were used. This was a relief as we loved our pool and thought it was built wonderfully, but our thoughts have now been confirmed. I am so glad that we went with Mr. Burkhart. The other item to mention is that the warranty work by Pools Plus has been a better process than any other purchase we have made. About a year after our pool was built, Mr. Burkhart called me and told me he had completed more Continuing Education in pool building and thought it would be better to change out our Chlorinator. At his cost and time he came to our home and replaced the old chlorinator at no charge in order to try and make sure we had the best on the market. That is the kind of company and guy Mr. Burkhart is. We also had our Pentair ozonator not working properly and also a guage on our Paramount PCC 2000 infloor cleaner. Within a few days a new ozonator was placed and new gauges on the infloor cleaner. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Luckily, there really has been no major issue with our pool and spa. The only sadness is now moving to a new home that was not built by Pools Plus and we are learning the difference.

 + 0 moreWe moved from overseas three years ago and was lucky to find Jim Burkhart. Jim and Jason did a fantastic job early this year for me. My pool runs so much better with the new Pentair pumps. Energy costs have gone done with the upgrade. The work was done in a very professional manner and the pricing was extremely fair.

 + -1 moreMy wife and I bought a house with a pool, which is a new thing for us. We contacted Pools Plus because of AL. We asked for assistance with going over the mechanics of the pool, pool maintenance, and help us evaluate some items that needed to be addressed. Jim was very helpful, despite the rain, in showing us how to use the equipment and reminding us of what we needed to do to maintain the pool. He was quick to get us in touch with his repair manager who helped us fix the polaris, and he even identified other things like the surface area around the pool that we may want to address in the coming years. The repairs and pool school were performed satisfactorily and we continue to use them as needed.

Description of Work: Existing pool pump stopped working. Upon inspection and discussion with David, I decided to replace the motor and pump with one more properly sized. Existing pump was >15 years old, and I had been talked into placing an underpowered motor by a previous repair service. Upon replacement of pump and motor, the chlorine feeder was identified as having a significant leak, this was also replaced.
