Description of Work: A complete irrigation system was installed on my property. Personal Touch was able to begin a day early and completed the job in one day!! The supervisors were with the workmen at all times except runs for supplies. At the end of the long, hot day the work was completed and you could hardly tell that any grass had been disturbed for the installation!! This company was completely satisfactory in every way. I have already recommended them for another job in my area. I called three companies for proposals. Two kept their appts. and Personal Touch Landscape had the best price, best description of their plans for my area and their price was 33% less than the other proposal! An irrigation system was uncharted water for me and the experience has been an entirely pleasant one.

+ -1 moreThey were very professional and had a much better quote than another company I contacted. The owner of the company was here often during the project. The supervisor was always here and spoke fluent English. He worked very well with his crew and took into consideration any ideas they might have had.
Description of Work: they cleared out my backyard and put in a stone wall around the beds I kept. We used crushed granite and flagstone throughout. They re-mulched and redesigned some of the beds and installed two French drains as well. Some plants were also planted.

+ -1 moreWe know that Personal Touch Landscaping does work in our neighborhood and we liked the work that what we saw. Unfortunately, they never responded to our inquiries. We contacted them by both phone and e-mail and asked them how much they would charge for lawn maintenance and mentioned that we might be interested in some landscaping work as well. We never heard back from them, so we are using another company. Personal Touch still advertises in our neighborhood newsletter - not sure why if they don't respond to potential customers.
Description of Work: None - they never responded to our inquiries.

+ -1 moreJoe Lane came to the house, walked the yard, spent 10 minutes in his truck preparing the estimate, then gave us the quote. We hired him. He came out a week later and did the whole job. He added the play areas and was able to do that the next day. The only thing I didn't like was not getting a "receipt" of the final work, showing what I paid and what I received for that price and the sales tax paid. Everything else was great. Quick. professional. Good work. Nice people. Flexible time frame and work. Credit for services/product not used at install. Really great experience. Refreshing.
Description of Work: They completely replanted our two plant beds in the front yard. They used all the plants removed from the front yard to replant the back yard. The cleaned out the beds, reshaped them, reworked the sprinklers to cover the beds and replaced all dirt with fresh soil and mulch. They helped me with fertilizers and water schedules. Also, they completely replaced 2 overgrown play areas for the kids. They pulled up all the over gown mess, laid down a new weed barrier, built up a 4 inch border with paver's, filled the interiors with sand and the other pea gravel. They even went to a home improvement store for me and picked up a swing and brought it back to the house.
