Description of Work: Mike C of Mr. Sparky's did a very professional job of doing a diagnostic for 1 line in my house and replacing GFCI outlets that were tripping frequently on May 10, 2013. He also did a very good job of changing the house's outside grounder pole. He explained what he was doing while he was doing the work and kept me informed of all possibilities and recommendations. He came and finished the work all during the promised time frame. I would not hesitate in calling Mr. Sparky's again and requesting for Mike C to come fix/upgrade the electrical outlets for another house. He can give you a better understanding of your house's electrical system and if there are any potential buggers behind those walls.

Description of Work: Installed ceiling lights in the master, living room, kitchen and upstairs hallway.

Description of Work: Repaired multiple electrical problems. Previous homeowner had cut many wires disabled several circuits. Repaired and rewired. Brought outside receptacles up to code and replaced defective ground-fault outlets. Installed surge protector on main box.

Description of Work: I would use the company again once I had a chance to compare pricing among other electrical companies. My experience in the past is they (electrical repairs) are quite costly. I had one electrical box installed for an over-the-range microwavehood. It took him a few minutes and then he did a whole house inspections letting me know what I already knew and that it needed to be updated and he explained the whys. The young man was very professional, punctual and I was really glad to see him because the handyman I had wanted me to go to get the additional hardware supplies he would need for the outlet install. It was done seamlessly with little time. I have a box erected in my cabinets where I reside, above my microwavehood now where it was not done this way.

Description of Work: This is the fifth time we have used Mister Sparky, and each time we have been very pleased with the service. The technician, Mike, has always been very prompt, and if there is an unforseen delay, we have been updated immediately about his arrival time. Each time I have called to make an appointment, I have been able to get the technician out to our house either that day or the next. I really appreciate not having to wait a week for an appointment, and then waiting all day for the tech to arrive. Mike has been very upfront about what each job will entail, and has completed the jobs very professionally. We have had outlets and lighting installed, trouble-shooting done for tripping breakers, and other misc. electrical work. The charge listed was for the most recent job done, and was basically a trip charge. More involved work has been a bit expensive as Mister Sparky has set pricing guidelines for the actual job to be completed, and does not charge by the hour. All in all our experience with Mister Sparky has been excellent.

Description of Work: Company performed the services outlined in the coupon exactly as expected (whole house surge protector). While on property, they recommended upgrading grounding portion of my electrical system so that surge protector would work more effectively. I agreed, and thus increased the total overall cost of the work. I believe it was the right decision, but would have appreciated a disclosure in the coupon stating something to the effect "some homes built prior to xyz date may benefit from upgrading the grounding system in order to maximize effectiveness of surge protection."
