Hi( members name removed) , my name is Richard Hodge I am the president of the Mister Sparky. Thank you for posting this review - we clearly deserve an "F" here for lack of response to the Angie's List E-Commerce Platform. I have my team fixing this by creating an email "group" for these type of notification rather than a designated person that may be sick or out of town on holiday. At this point, all we can do is the next right thing which is once we identified an error, pounce on it and fix it. Additionally I have asked my team to sort out giving you additional services for free because of our delivery defect here - if you are open to still permitting us the opportunity to fulfill your order. On behalf of my team, I have no excuses - just the truth. Our company runs over 1000 service calls per month. 99.9% of those come in via telephone. Why? I don't know, I am like you and like to do business on amazon, opentable, uber, text, and resist the phone unless its needed. So the bottom line is that this one email which is all we get from Angie's List that notifies us that someone has purchased something fell through the cracks. So we get one shot to get it right - no reminders... additionally we don't get any type of payment on this for about 30 days so a check in the mail would have prompted us to find out where the money came from because we have to match payments (revenue) to work performed... if the email fell through the cracks, we would then pick up phone and call customer to book the work. In this case, it appears that we missed the email, I am assuming you didn't call us? because we are open 24x7 and have a solid escalation path internally for problems. So the only way this hit our radar is an email notification of a review which we reviewed and why we are here today - so thank you for the review again. I am truly sorry for the fact we overlooked the email. I want you to know that we have not received any monies on this. if we did, it would have driven us to the website to investigate the source of funds and a determination of if we had successfully fulfilled the order. As of this writing, my team has reached out to you and left a voice mail. We will support what every your wishes are immediately.
