Mister Sparky Electrical

I originally called them out to look at my spa, but when they told me it would be $600 just to diagnose it and then additional for whatever was wrong. I elected not to have them proceed. While they were here, they did an inspection of my panel and indicated that I needed a different breaker for my A/C and a new grounding rod. They charged $400 to do both of these. Later I realized they replaced a $10 breaker and $9 brass rod. I understand they need to make a profit, but 2000% profit margin seems a little excessive. Needless to say, I will not be calling them back out. Shame, since my first experience with them was very good.

Great! Our kitchen had been remodeled by the previous homeowner and the electrical was very badly done. We had another electrician decline the job, and called Mr Sparky for an estimate for repairs as other providers no-showed 💫 weren't available for weeks. Mr Sparky set up an evaluation within one week and the repairs were done a few days after that. Their price was fantastic. Lee and Nina were the people who worked on our home, and they were both very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. They listened to our requests and the repairs are top - notch. Now all the runs make sense and all the junctions are accessible - - as they should be. They also installed a lovely new fixture and ran wire from the ceiling to the switch in my powder room. During the initial evaluation Nina identified some safety issues with our main panel, which we elected to repair as well. The main office contacted us me about the appointments and followed up when folks were on the way with their ETA. This whole thing was so easy and painless I'll be recommending Mr Sparky to everyone for electrical repairs.

Bishop did an amazing job diagnosing the problem and fixing the issue. Walked through all the options and explained everything to me. Really went above and beyond my expectations.

The technician was on time, cordial and professional. He took time to answer questions. Determined the source of the problem and made the necessary repairs. No hard sell on the additional recommendations which I really appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Great!! Matthew did a great job. He communicated proactively. Arrived on time. We had an agreed upon price before he came. He had to adjust the height Of the transformer so it didn’t get wet since it was taller than the old one.

Xavier was extremely professional and installed both ceiling fans without any issues. He answered any questions I had. Great customer service!

Xavier showed up on-time and was efficient and friendly. Pricing was up-front and clear. I declined the whole-house inspection but did have him check out an issue we were having with a light fixture, and he repaired it (at a bit extra beyond the $250 for the fan) before leaving.

Found that the circuit was part of Ground fault circuit where that circuit was not visible because of other stuff in garage. They replaced the Ground Fault Circuit and everything now good.

Very poorly! I had made a request for a quote thru Angie's List three days ago and did not hear from Mr. Sparkey so I called them direct. They apologized for not responding to my initial request but refused to give me a quote without first making a $49 service call to see job. I explained that it was a normal installation of a fan with lighting kit on a normal ceiling not a cathedral ceiling. They asked if I had already purchased the fan and I said I had. I was given a "song and dance" about their needing to see the room and the existing installation, They said there might be problems with the existing wiring or the age of my house. House was built in the mid 80s. I explained that the existing fan worked but was old and out of balance and I just thought that it was time to replace a 20 year old fan. Still insisted they they would have to make the service call before giving me a quote. Told them no thank you and that I would make a report on Angie's List. I was very disappointed with the contact and do not like being "talked down to."

Works great. My husband had a heart attack Monday at 1pm , so our son met him at the house when they called. He said he was very professional and made other recommendations.

Exceptional service, high quality results! Experience was positive all around. Cost is a bit high but I’d pay it again and again for the better solution

Excellent service oriented company. Mr. Sparky did a superb job rewiring and replacing faulty smoke detectors and installing new circuit breakers at our home. The electrician was prompt, courteous, and highly professional. He clearly laid out all repair options and we understood the cost before the work was started. The fact that they don't charge premiums for weekend and off-hour work was also a huge bonus.
