It could not have been better. I have used this company before and have been more than satisfied both times.

I didn't have any problems with them. They did a great job. They're very timely when they came out and we've had no issues.

It went very well. Rich was personable, informative, and professional. He is a great guy and doesn't try to upsell other than what's suggested by his company. I was taken aback by the price, as I didn't ask for an estimate prior to the appointment. I've never had electrical work done before, so I had no idea how high rates were. I thought plumbing was really high, but it's nothing compared to electrical. So, be prepared. I say this not knowing how Mr. Sparky's rates compare to others. Once you do your homework, go ahead and use this company, because they are nice to work with. They charge by the job, not the hour.

Replaced 3 light switches. I provided the new switches. Half hour of work and I was charged $611. Called office to see if this was correct and was told that it was and they were very sorry that I didn't think $611 was fair. They won't have to worry about me calling them back for anything.

By far the best of any contractor we've used so far. Fully explained what was wrong, why it went wrong, performed all he could while having to wait 4 hours just for the electric company to turn off power! Helped explain future plans, and what was safe and legal and what wasn't. We just bought the house and it is an older home. The work performed and the explanations made our new home safe for my family, and gave us peace of mind to raise our new son in this home! I would highly recommend them for any electrical work done!

Mike was very professional and explained everything in detail. He was very courteous and respectful of my home and of me. He gave me a bid on work that I was not anticipating that needed to be done. We have opted to get another bid and have not made the decision of who to use but I feel confidant that Mike would do a great job. I trust he would perform the necessary repairs and guarantee his work. The price just seems a bit high.

The electrician Mike showed up on time and was very professional and friendly. He inspected the work that was to be done and then provided me in writing with exactly what the cost would be of performing the repairs. The work was done throroughly and he provided me with both a hard copy and electronic copy of the invoice/receipt.

Very well, would use them again.

I phoned the provider to ask for an appointment. I got voice mail and left a message. I never heard back.

The lead man opened a book and started into a sales spiel. I asked him if he was an electrician or a salesman. He told me he had to go through his procedure. After finishing he quoted a price of almost $300.00. I told him that was outrageous. He then asked what I wanted to pay and that he would call his boss. I told him I wouldn't be treated like a used car buyer and showed them to the door. I would never call them again. Totally unprofessional.

The guy was very professional seemed to actually understand what he was doing which is refreshing he was also very friendly he was anything you could really ask for for the services he provided.

The Mister Sparky technician, Jeremy Friedner, was the hardest working repairman I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He spent two full days at my home repairing the problems, many hours of which were in the attic, in July, in Houston!!!! He was a trouper!!! I immediately felt like he knew what he was doing and that he was capable and dependable to see the job through. All the work was top notch and excellent! In fact, I have had him return to the house since for other electrical repair and installation projects to my complete satisfaction. He is always prompt, professional and efficient. He also made me aware of coupons and discounts available through the company's Power Club membership.

The only reason these guy's have a "B" for price is simple. You will probably find a "better price/bid" for your work, but you have to consider quality as well. I paid more because I know that the electrician, Matt, gave quality work AND materials. He went through & showed me corroded outside electrical outlets, and I saw him take them out of my wall. I asked Matt to give my house a thorough electrical inspection, and now I know that the house is electrically sound and safe. I was so impressed with their professionalism AND honesty; I signed up for their club membership. I was encouraged to go with this electrician by my chosen plumber because they are sister companies. My plumber stated, "I have never had a single customer complain about their work." I am so thankful my plumber was correct. I consider every penny money well spent, and I just bought myself electrical peace of mind.

They called a day in advance to confirm the appointment. They called at the scheduled arrival time to say they would be one hour late. They arrived 90 minutes later. They were polite, professional and friendly. They have set pricing -which is fair for the services to be performed. The work was done accurately and in a timely manner. They have a "club discount membership" which was automatically added to the bill without discussing with us.

Technician showed up on time and was very professional. Answered all my questions and performed work in a timely manner. I have used them before and will continue to use them.

Tony, the technician, showed up during the first hour of the 3 hour window. He performed a complete inspection of the house and pointed out some items that needed to be addressed in the future. After the installation, he cleaned up and even removed the empty boxes the fan came in. Well worth every nickle spent.

They were awful. They had messed up with the system, they marked everything wrong for every category and they were the worst in the world. In fact when the town inspector came to inspect, he said I have never seen anything this bad, and so he wouldn't approve anything they did. The other thing they did was that they ripped the shelf out in my garage, I didn't know why they did that. They never fixed it again. This one guy was so awful, I am not sure if they fired him or not. They were incompetent and no one would take my complaint. Finally, they did send someone over but they never really fixed the problem. I was having so much trouble with them. I recommend others to be beware of them. Make sure they are licensed before hiring them. They said they were licensed but municipality confined their numbers.

The electrician arrived at the appointed time. He was polite and professional and explained what the problems were and what needed to be done and what it would cost.

From beginning to end, we had an excellent experience with this company. After calling several electricians who would not send out a technician on a Friday night, I finally found Mr. Sparky on Angie's List. I spoke to a customer service rep and explained that the power to our rental home had been turned off by Centerpoint due to a fire hazard in the meter. Because it was a fire hazard and therefore an emergency, the rep I spoke to on the phone escalated our request for a technician. The customer service reps were in touch with us several times with status updates on the technician's arrival time. It was a Friday night, and they sent their technician on call at 7pm to repair the meter. The technician assessed the problem, gave me 3 options to repair it (each option a different price), and had the work completed in 15 minutes. The technicians are also given touch pad computers so they can charge the work to your credit card on the spot and email you a receipt at the same time. And to top it off, the technician called Centerpoint himself to confirm the work was done and request a Centerpoint technician to come back and replace the meter. Every detail of working with this company was great.

I have a business and noticed there is some problem with our electricity. I logged into Angie's list and found this company. this happened on Sunday march 31st 2013. first question I asked was if they have any technician available on Sunday and the rep said yes. after getting all my info and asking how I've heard about them (which I said Angie's list) and explaining the problem for over 15 min. she tells me "oh, i'm sorry we are over booked for today and I can send someone tomorrow" they lied to me to get all my info and waste my time so they can send someone next day. I know today is Easter and a lot of business are closed but that is why the first thing I asked was if they can send someone today and she said yes. not an honest company IMO so be careful. hopefully others had a better experience with them. good luck. UPDATE: The fact the company has responded to this case is enough for me to change my mind about them. this shows they do take customer service and customer satisfaction very seriously and I appreciate that.

We recently acquired a treadmill that was tripping the breaker anytime the speed went over 3 mph. I called Mister Sparky to seek help on how to resolve this (based on my research, this would likely require the installation of a proper, dedicated outlet). Instead of doing that and charging me for it, the person I spoke with, Rick, provided a much lower cost solution that I could do myself (a particular brand of surge protector will prevent this; though not all of them will). He could have kept that information to himself and charged me a lot more to fix the problem. I appreciated his honesty and will call Mister Sparky first next time a need an electrician.

They did a good job and everything was as advertised. They were very professional, worked quickly and accurately, and did a fine job.

There was a bit of a mix up with a reminder call to let me know he was 1 hour away. Anyhow, he arrived on time and went ahead to look at the problems we had called him out for. He then proceeded to assess the rest of the house to determine if everything else was working okay. He gave us a written electrical inspection report of his findings with a price quotation for all the work which he recommended that we do based on his findings. We chose which option we wanted with the attached price. He then left for about 30 minutes to purchase the closet door jam switch which he did not have in his truck. He returned and proceeded to do the work.

The job was done efficiently and professionally. Rick, the electrician, not only repaired the faulty fixture but also performed an electrical safety inspection of the home. Throughout, he was professional and willing to share his opinions without being overly pushy or attempting to generate more work for himself. I would highly recommend Mr. Sparky without any reservations whatsoever. It is rare to see such a level of highly competent service anymore.

under cabinet light replaced. I've used Mr. Sparky several times since moving to Katy, TX. They are on time and very professional. The reason I gave them a C ranking is that I consider them to be very overpriced. I recently needed some additional electrical work done and called a different company. They also were excellent, very professional and much more reasonable. Mr. Sparky is a good company, they are on time and do good work it's just that their pricing is too high. If you don't mind paying high dollar for what another company can do just as well then I recommend you call Mr. Sparky.
