Clint determined that the reason we had no power to the counter outlets or the outlets servicing the refrigerator and washing machine was because the GFIs had all been wired on the same circuit. When one GFI went bad, it knocked all of them out. Clint was able to rewire the GFIs on separate circuits and resolve our problems the same day. We've had no problems since then.

I their contact from Angies list choose them against Universal Electric because they didnot keep their scheduled appointment and gave me a weeks time to come in. Mister Sparky responded on the same day with great professionalism and punctuality. The guy came in at 1:30 after a tedious 2 hour he came up with a very pricey quote which we had to cut down to getting our most urgent work done first. The first guy to whom I had explained everything left with half done work n called his associate to complete the rest of the work. There was of course some confusion and the other person would just let me know he was filling in for Mr Clint and had no idea of what we had discussed with Mr Clint. Our smoke detector installed doesnot have the CO carbon monoxide option as was mentioned by Mr Clint when he had explained me the work. Since he had planned to remove the existing one saying it doesnt work. He had not quoted for the one with the CO function as he didnot have one at hand. One Gfci outlet in garage could not be changed which I had mentioned at the start and got overlooked. All around they were both courteous very efficient gentlemen and Mr Clint came at the time he had mentioned (even came earlier) appreciate it very much. Just a note if more emphasis was given to the work being done then the Quotation I would have felt satisfied with the work done at my place. As it had taken hours for them to give me an estimate and he left late around 7:00 Gfci And carbon Monoxide detector are the 2 works which got overlooked and need to be done.Had emailed them but no reply as yet. Maybe I sent at a noreply email.......?/

In the dinning room, foyer, living room, breakfast area and upstairs bedroom installed chandeleir and light fixture, installed UL braces boxes and relocated wires to new boxes. In the living room installed speciality fan with 6ft down rod. Installed remote control for the fan. Installed 6" recessed can lights in the livingroom. Installed chandeleir and UL brace box above the fire place. In the master bedroom installed a ceiling fan. Installed fan light control in upstairs bedroom. Installed LED trim lights in upstairs hallway and above the desk area. Upstairs hall installed power for a switch and wall sconce. Replace smoke detectors throughout the house. All the electrical work was amazing. We were really happy with all the effort that Matthew and Michael put into their work. The artistic vision that Mathew had for the chandeleir over the fire place was incredible. Michael work in lowering the chandeleir in the foyer was amazing. About the price for the job was high, but the final result was excellent. They came on time and we were well informed about all the details before the work was performed. They were very clean and kind person. Extremely professional. Definitely we will recommend and use again.

We scheduled Mister Sparky to come to our home to run through a list of minor electrical repairs that were on a recent inspection. They scheduled us for Oct 9th between noon and 4pm. My husband took a half day off of work to accomodate this window. At 3pm, they called and said they could not make it. He asked if they could come that evening and they said they would try but would not guarantee anything. This was extremely unprofessional and frustrating given the timeframe was 4 hours to begin with and a call was not received until hour 3. Will never use or recommend their services.

Had issues with tripping GFCI circuits. Was unable to get my regular electrician, and called this company as they were another of the apparently top rated on AL. Electrician came out the same day and after some minor trouble shooting determined that 2 GFCI's were malfunctioning. Lots going on at the time, so didn't overly study or price shop the quote although it felt high for the small amount of work (<1 hour). Later had time to price shop and speak to knowledgeable sources (my regular electrician whom I promise to wait for next time!!) and realized we were obscenely overcharged. Hard to understand their high rating on AL, I certainly won't be using them again.

knew this was a rip off but he was there and I told him to fix my problem please. He told me he needed to replace 6 light switches and left 1.5 hours later for a fee of $646.00. Needless to say I'll never call these guys again.

They also addressed questions I had about a new breaker box they installed. They adjusted this as well. The nice thing is that they guarantee their work. This was the second time they came out so it was free.

They came out quickly and explained everything. They were also clean and kind individuals.

We ended up getting a new breaker panel, new grounding system, a lot of rewires in kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom, removing a bunch of unnecessary wiring and associated lights including unsightly retro florescent box lights in the kitchen, ugly flush mount in the hallway, ugly wall sconces in master bedroom, hideous chandeliers in library and kitchen dinette, 19 6" recessed lights with 3000K 13W dimmable LED's, a dedicated Home Theater circuit, 12 gauge CL2 5 channel in wall speaker wiring, and probably a few things I can't remember right now. Essentially, Mike, Tommy, and Marcus brought our recently purchased built in 1990 retro home up to date.

The neon ceiling light in my son's kitchen had sparked and/or started smoking when he turned it on. After he left work I called Mister Sparky to have a trained electrician safely analyze and fix the problem. Their representative came well within his estimated time. He was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. Perhaps I could have found a less expensive electrician, but it was more important to have the job done correctly and to remove a fire hazard, especially with my grandson living there. He did a great job, and I would gladly use Mister Sparky Electrical again.

I have used Tony for the past several years, the house is about 12 years old now and it is time to replace and improve electrical components in the both the house and garage. Tony is always on time, calls ahead at least 30 minutes before arriving and reviews the work with me before starting. We always discuss the costs before any work is performed and informs me if there is any critical issues that I need to be aware of. Tony is always been very fair with me and provides excellent workmanship. The install of the new florescent light fixture in my garage went great, even with the extreme heat in the garage, the job was completed in about 40 minutes. Tony had to run new wiring and he brought along the new fixtures so he had all of the hardware when he arrived. I keep my garage extremely clean and moved out the vehicles so there was nothing in his way. This made it safe and the install went very smoothly.

They are very expensive, but they do what they say they are going to do and they show up when they say will show up. I had a $49 coupon from Angie’s List, they charged me $184 to come out and check all of the electrical, and I told them that I had already had that done. I called them because my outside garage light would not turn on; he said it was broken. He said that if I got the light, he would come back during the week, just call me when you get the light and I will put it in. I got the light Saturday and I called him Monday to come out Tuesday. He came back on Tuesday and charged me another $129. He said it was a $400 job. I asked him what the $184 was for; because I did not have, you do anything. He said that he had to look at all of the electrical boxes and everything to make sure that he was safe. He said that he did not have to put the light in, if I did not want it. I told him that I would pay him but he was very expensive. A supervisor called me and I told him that the work was good, but they were very expensive. It cost me $300 to have that light put up. I needed it done, he was there, I had the light, and I just got it done. I find it very disturbing that people in this line of work make me feel uncomfortable in dealing with them. I am in sales myself and I am sure that not every customer likes what I do or say, but I am pretty fair. He was a descent fellow; it is just how they do it. I called them to come out and fix the light, I had a coupon for the service call and I knew that I would have to pay for whatever the repair was. Overall, I felt like I was cheated. The quality was good. I would not use them again.

Mister Sparky Electrical worked out fine. They were very courteous. The guy was very giving of his time and knowledgeable. He was willing to work with us. We were happy with him.

Work was very good but the electrician talked too much.

The technition from Mr. Sparky, came to the house as arranged, put his booties on before entering and did a full inspection of what we wanted done. He was professional and very curtious. However the price he gave us was made up from a catalog he carried and was astronomically over inflated. We just were astounded. My husband asked him if this was for re-wiring the whole house? We did not hire him and stated we would get other bids for the work. He kept stating that Mr Sparky only used "licensed" electritions. So we went back to Angies list and found another "licensed" electrition with an "A" Angies List rating. He came to the house and gave us an estitimate on the exact same work as Mr. Sparky. This time the work was well under budget and under $800.00 for all of it. He was so reasonable that we had him do a little more than was planned and it was still way under our budget for our electrical needs. We got several calls from the Mr Sparky's staff asking why we did not use them and we kept telling them their pricing was way out of line. Their price was over $3700.00. The other electrician was under $1000.00 for the same job. Both were rated "A" by Angies List and both were licensed eletrictions. Who would you choose?

Scheduled service for Monday. Received call on Monday that service would have to be rescheduled - service charge to be waived! Rescheduled for Wednesday. Rick arrived within agreed time. He was a very professional and likeable young man. He briefly explained pricing and then told me he would have to do a survey of house for safety reasons before he began job. After survey he presented me with 3 recommendations: Option A - $1162, Option B - $883 and Option C (my original work request) $386. Since I am selling I only wanted Option C- bonding of water lines to hot water heater. Rick took approximately 30-35 minutes to complete the job. Afterwards we discussed bill as I had a $50 coupon and I reminded him there was no service charge - my bill came to $277. I was happy to get job done but the bill did seem high for attaching ground wire with a clamp on hot water line, one on cold water supply line, and one on the gas line. Remember without coupon and waiver of service call it would have been $386! Would I use Mister Sparky again - maybe but I would do my homework comparing pricing of other companies first..

The gentleman was very prompt, arriving earlier than expected. He came with shoe covers in hand but since the work was in the garage they weren't needed. He fiest assessed what the problem was and then made his recommendation and estimated cost. He advised me on safety issues and the adding another outlet. He was helpful in checking out the main box and showed me some issues to be aware of in the future. He did the job we had discussed and cleaned up afterwards. I was very delighted to have such professionals doing the jib! I will definitely have them do work for me next time.

There had been power surges and outages at my home. I called them on the 16th evening - they agreed to come out on the 17th morning. They called ahead of time, Clint came on time, inspected the whole house and also talked to Centerpoint about what to look for and where.

It went very well. The technician is very professional and I felt comfortable having him around my family. It was more expensive than I expected though.

Tony is our local guy. He is very professional, punctual and extremely knowledgeable. Tony's approach is great for someone who does not know MUCH about electrical. He starts with an overall home inspection then focuses in on the main issue (and provides a number of a la carte estimates for each of the jobs).
