Description of Work: Was able to get a free second opinion from Bruce. He was very professional & detail oriented. His quote for a complete system replacement was higher than another well respected company. I would definitely go with Bruce again for multiple quotes & system checkup next time.

Description of Work: The owner came out and did a warranty on my "Ecobee", which had gone bad. We have used Kodiak AC for about 3 years. The owner is dependable, and is very open to suggestions. When he installed two A/Cs in our home, we wanted to "downsize" the unit, as we felt we had "too much" AC, and therefore, the humidity was up since the run times were too short. With a careful load balance, he came to the same conclusion, although not at small as I wanted. I insisted, and he worked to make this work. It turned out to save us about 50% on our electric bills. He is AWESOME. He backs up what he sells. Hint: He loves good coffee, and will be there first thing in the morning with the promise of a cup!

Description of Work: The owner of the company comes out and does the service himself. He arrived on time and was very technically sound on the overall maintenance and repair issues associated with Home AC Units. He climbed into the attic and assessed the overall system as well as looked at both our outside systems and then came into discuss what was required to repair our system. We needed to replace our mainline AC Filters which the builder had somehow taped shut and we also need some Freon added to both our systems as the builder had not quite put enough into the system. Description of Work: On the evening of August 17th, my downstairs Carrier AC compressor stopped cooling. The morning of August 18th, I called Kodial AC and Heating because they had installed a new AC compressor that cools my upstairs in May, 2010, and I was very satisfied with their work. In May, 2010, the owner and technician, Mr. Bruce Barron, did an excellent job then of finding me a new 13-Seer RUDD AC unit that was moderate in price and did not require the replacement of my evaporator. The 13-Seer RUDD compressor has performed well. Lee Barron, Bruce's wife, called me a few weeks after the installation in May, 2010 to check up on how the unit was doing, and I told her that it was doing great. This year, the downstairs Carrier AC compressor unit was not cooling well, so I call Kodial AC and Heating again. Bruce came out on the afernoon of the day I called. He was punctual and went to work immediately repairing my downstairs Carrier AC compressor unit. He replaced a capacitor and another part which had burned out. He later showed me the old parts, explained the repairs in detail and answered all my questions. The whole visit only took him an hour. It was well worth the $300 that I paid to have my AC back up and cooling effectively again.

Description of Work: We use Odiakac & HTG for maintenance of our heating and air-conditioning unit and he comes out every fall and spring. The last time we used them was this week.
