Katy Discount Fence

I feel compelled to write a review about Katy Discount Fence Company and the owner Daniel Burgess. This is a bad fence company, that does not take pride in their work, and the owner Daniel Burgess is one of the most unprofessional, belligerent and disrespectful person I have ever met. In the beginning Daniel came to our home and gave us a cost to rebuild our fence and gate that is in our breezeway. He recommended that we replace the posts, so that the gate would be straight, and he would guarantee and warrantee his work. What he recommended sounded like the best way to rebuild the gate and fence and I agreed that he would do that. Well needless to say, the work that was performed was horrible and the posts were not put in level causing the gate to be crooked. I have spoken to Daniel on numerous occasions, by texts and by phone when he feels like answering. He has been promising to come to the house to fix the fence and posts for the last two weeks, which he has not done as of today. He would text and tell me that he would be at the house between a certain time and never show. The last rain storm that came through caused our gate to get stuck and we were unable to open it. Daniel did come by the house to see why the fence was sticking and I showed him with a level that the posts were not put in straight, which he should have done. Daniel then started yelling at me and telling me that “it’s just a **** fence and it’s just a **** gate”. He then started to “mumble” to himself, got into his truck and drove away quickly without an apology or to let me know what he was going to do about it. Our neighbors heard the yelling and were shocked that an owner of a company would treat their customer with such disrespect. So if you want to spend a lot of money to a company that doesn’t take pride in their work and for poor workmanship use Katy Discount Fence Company. I however, would not recommend this company to anyone.
