The job extended into drainage and gutters as well as tree removal, and the cost for everything was a bit more than I had planned on. There was a bit of high pressure, but the guys did a great job and were done in 2 1/2 days. In spite of the increased cost, I am pleased with the quality of their work and their efficiency. J S Tree Service costs a little more, but I am glad that I hired them.

I will never agree to pay for an estimate in the future. They have a preliminary quote over the phone, then showed up for a fee and raised their quote. Then after starting the work they wanted to raise the price again even though they made a site visit and we had a written contract. Then they dropped a branch on the power line to my house and wanted me to pay for the repairs. They also left debris in the backyard after agreeing to remove it. The only reason they were not a 1-star is they did repair the power line, although it took a week.

They did a good job. I had to have them return to complete some things but everything was handled with promptness and efficency as soon as I contacted them! Great customer service by the Project Manager!

Had an appointment scheduled for a quote between 11-12. At 11 am the day of the appointment someone called and said they wanted to talk about my project and asked if I had pictures of my trees because he was coming from Sugarland. I said this should have been done before my appointment not the day of. Needles to say no one showed up from J.S for the quote and I wasted a time from work.

My experience with JS Tree was one of the worst experiences Ive had as a customer. I cannot recommend using another company enough. I clearly told them what my budget was. They provided a quote that was slightly over but it was a project I needed to get done. The quote did not include Materials so I asked the representative for a ballpark and was told, a couple hundred dollars. In the end, they charged over $4,000 just for materials that I had no knowledge of until the project was complete. Beyond being scammed, scheduling was unprofessional. Two weeks went by with little to no communication unless I contacted them. Information and updates were never provided unless I reached out to them. They completed the project while I was out of town. I returned home to a damaged yard, a neighbor upset because their yard was damaged, but a completed job.

WOW ! Awesome , They removed a large that 6-8 inches from the house . Wow what a great job they did , it was a small space that they had work in , but the crew got in and got the job done . No damage to my house , fence , yard or to the house next door. Clean up , clear up BAM ! Job done in 3 1/2 hours it was awesome. YES hire them you will not regret it , they are the Tree Pros. K. J.S. Tree Service helped me and my husband when we lost a pear tree during Hurricane Nicholas. They â rushedâ service to us in order to get the tree removed before forecasted weekend thunderstorms. While they were here, we had them trim back 2 large oak trees in our front yard. They crew was very helpful and professional and we were very pleased with the results.

J.S. Services is not a professional company, French drains they were going to install requires permits from the city for the digging that was required and they said they did not need one. Calling the city of Missouri City they said permits were required and had they followed through with the digging we would have been in violation and subject to fines.

I usually donâ t write negative reviews however, I felt compelled to write this review to warn others of my experience with JS Tree service. Some of my negative dealings with this company can not be attributed to them because I should have made different choices but with that being said, their prices are outrageous and their â salesmanâ is very skilled at making you question what you know. They DO NOT call you 24 hrs in advance of them showing up as promised. I wanted to review what I wanted done (changed my mind from removing the tree to wanting it to be â topped offâ ) and called them but never got a call back. I feel like they removed my healthy tree ( my fault by not standing my ground) but thought they were the experts. They also did not do a good job cleaning up the debris . Lesson learned.

I have two very old (90 yrs) and very large pecan trees that I want to keep alive as long as possible. The J.S. crew did fabulous work with trimming and shaping. However, I felt the guy who gave the estimates was way over pricing me. I did call two other top rated companies after my trees were trimmed to get opinions and estimates. Both companies estimates to trim and/or removed my pecan tree, if necessary, was thousands less. The arborists from the other two companies not only gave much lower estimates, they were more focused on keeping my pecan trees alive and healthy.

I hired J.S. Tree Service for landscaping and tree service the Representative surveyed the job and told me it would take 2 days at $3249.00 per day to do the job. They took 1/2 day and did not complete the job. I was shocked when I received the invoice it was $3249.00 x 2 when they had only worked 1/2 days . I called the office to complain the secretary said I had to talk to the **Program Manager** who NEVER returned my call

The initial talks were great. Based on the type of work I needed, I decided to hire them for 2 full days. I was supposed to be called the day before but never received the call. They showed up about 7 am on a Saturday to trim my trees. They finished in a couple hours and left before starting the other work. There was a delay before they came back out due to the weather, my sod was installed and they didn?t touch the flower beds. I spoke with someone after and was assured they?d be back but its been over 2 weeks and I feel it could?ve been completed the first day.
